Just had dinner there. It was a great experience! Service was extra friendly and helpful and the food was really good, and original (a lot of traditional French food, and some traditional Vaud food).

I came with a group from EPFL for a conference dinner. The food was expensive for its size and quality. I asked if I could replace the dried meat with red onion in my 26 CHF burger and the server said I would be charged for adding the onion. At the end of the meal, the same server refused to split the bill, even though it has never been a problem on other visits. He became increasingly aggressive with us and threw the bill on the table. Terrible experience. Save your money and go elsewhere. Edit after the response from the owner: We didn't make a reservation under EPFL, we came straight from the conference on Wednesday. I know which restaurant it was, I ordered the Black Swan burger. Maybe check with the server!

Friendly service and good food. Have been here two times, and each time they have surprise me with wonderful food. Wonderful service makes you feel like you are among friends, their recommendations have been a success. Looking forward to my third visit.

Went to Lausanne on a day trip, saw the Brasserie and thought why not try it. The waiter was a European guy with fair, longish hair and a very professional and welcoming attitude. He spoke French and English. I enjoyed the food, and the service was excellent! Thank you for making my Lausanne experience so nice! One of the best waiters ever!

As an old-fashion person I could not stay away from this restaurant - dark wood, amber light and delightfully retro atmosphere plus a traditional Valaisian cousine. What do we need more? Ah - good wines and a coffee . Here you go!

The best vegetarian burger I ever had! So much flavor! The waiter was super friendly we had so much fun!

Le Cygne is back! A new owner has revived what once was! The place has been cleaned from top to bottom and lovingly restored with original colours, upholstery, everything. The food and service too have been revived, and while there are a couple of small modernisations in the menu, mostly you'll only notice a new commitment to the quality that made this place an institution.
