Its the best Indian restaurant in Lausanne. This is an honest review. Being here for long term, I had visited almost every Indian restaurant in Lausanne. This restaurant stands out from all. The owner who is also the one preparing food definitely has the perfect blend in usage of Indian spices. I had ordered Navratna Shahi Korma and Butter Nan. Taste was awesome. There are lots of varieties to try out in vegetarian, non-vegetarian and Halal. Once try this restaurant. For sure you won't regret.

Baleshwar is the hard-working owner and cook. Very friendly. Always tasty and authentic Indian food. Try the butter chicken with Naan. You won't be dissapinted!

The owner/chef/maitre d'restaurant - Mr Baleshwar is simply brilliant. He is very warm and courteous, and makes superb Indian food with his fine culinary expertise from Switzerland. He combines flavours from India with this part of the world. The baigan (aubergine) bharta and chicken curry were absolutely delicious. And so were the salted chaas, rice and roti with a touch of rose! The place is a little difficult to locate (it's opposite bel-airbuilding, next to burger king in a 7 restaurants building, on 1st floor. When in Lausanne and if you are anywhere in Switzerland and want to eat superb Indian curry and food, it's a must go place!

Nice punjabi food and equally nice owner. The place is very good as it has many other small restaurants around with a variety of cuisines from around the world.. Worth giving it a try. Also try mango lassi.

Kumar is a very good man. I will eat kofta and soup, then I will update comment! But he’s a very good man! After dinner edit: Kumar did a great job with soup and also with the kofta. They were ver delicious and also more than enough, so it makes you feel full. I definitely recommend 7 Kings Curry!

The curry is very good quality. I really like the rice of the curry, which is soft and much better than expected. the serving of the owner is superb and he gives good suggestions on what food we can order. Anyway, it is a very special experience to eat here.

Great food at a reasonable price. The restaurant is part of Easyfood where you can also eat at 6 other restaurants. The Indian food is fresh, nicely spiced and delicious! The owner is a nice guy, open for a chat. The space where you sit down and eat your is a ‘plaza’ so do not expect a waiter or coziness. But for a great Indian meal at a fair price this is the place to go.

The chef is very friendly. The food is authentic Indian cuisine. And you can ask how spicy your food should be which I like a lot. They also offer some halal options (check the menu).

We loved the food. As an Indian craving Indian food abroad this was such a great find. We specially stopped at Lausanne on our way from Montreux to Geneva after looking them up on Google and the place did not disappoint. Had amazing Samosa, aloo Chole and Naan with complimentary rice. The chef was super friendly and polite.

I had lamb madras, naan & rice - and the naan was more like paratha than anything. Was extremely disappointing as I am of Asian descent and wanted an actual Naan which is cooked inside tandoor and smoothered with ghee (Clarified butted). The lamb madras gravy was decent but the lamb is frozen and basically cooked for few minutes in the gravy before serving and the amount of times I had to spit the ginger stems out was ridiculous (surely thinly cut them?). Now onto the rice - pink rice which was soggy and basically left to the side as inedible. I am making this comparison as I have Asian food everywhere and in the UK the level of Indian food is so much higher. Also I went to this place based off the other reviews for example Muhammad Yasir comment who raved it’s one of the best in Europe lol surely you havernt been to the UK Indian restaurant then. The owner is friendly and does his best to accommodate you but figured as he knows French can get close and friendly with the locals and entice them to leave good reviews. I want to apologise for leaving this review as the owner does care and try his best to make the food but I have to be honest in my review based off my experience and observation. Use if you need to get a quick and simple spice in your life, but would not order again.

My colleagues and me went there for dinner late after work, and despite the owner being in the process of shutting stayed to make us all fantastic, fresh curries. Genuinely one of the best curries I've had

We were there on 31st December 2022 at 8.30pm. We were late, the kitchen had just closed. But the chef was extremely nice, and cooked us a very nice Indian chicken dish with garlic naan for us. The taste was amazing, and as an Indian I can say it was as authentic as it can get.

Amazing food.... totally authentic Indian flavor and taste. Naan was the best. The owner is very kind and welcoming ☺️

Suddenly craving for Indian food, surfing on the internet, and found this place. It has high ratings and I couldn't agree more. I ordered mango lassi which is delicate, sweet, and fresh. It feels like 1 glass isn't enough. I took Darbari Malai Kofta, which is savory and flavorful. The vegetables, spices, and beef meatball are perfect combination. Also, Poulet Tikka Masala is aromatic, piquant, and addicting. All the dishes are very filling. The chef is welcoming and courteous. Though the restaurant is placed in a food-court, he can somewhat bring restaurant vibes there.

Amazing Indian place. A must visit in Lausanne. We ordered Aloo Gobhi and Punjabi yoghurt curry( Kadhi). The owner / Chef, made these with urmost care and they tasted delicious. We had them with rose rice and naan. The naan was medium size, buttery and well made. Had Kadak chai after the meal. Delicious food served with warmth and love.

He is serving all frozen Naan from Haldiram and rates are too high. Even curry is not serve separately! Very disappointing experience. Chicken was too much chewy. We need to leave the food in plate.

Don't know how I didn't find this place sooner. It's the best Indian restaurant in Lausanne, even if it's just a small place in a food court. The owner runs a one-man show, has a limited menu but the daily specials are just amazing and fresh. Had the lamb kashmiri and chicken madrasi and absolutely loved the spices, freshness of meat and food texture. Will be back for more!

Restaurant owner is a very maderchod person. If u think of money he williing to insult you. Don't go at all. Charges for even a nimbu 500rs. Naan is raddi like eating a maida in butter.. Better to avoid this behnchod.

👍 I’ve visit this place a couple of times and I’ve enjoyed each one of it. I always choose the same burger though. 7/10. The employees could smile a bit more maybe? I know it’s a hard job but well… smiling is free! I’ll be back 😌
