Best coffee in Lausanne, and one of the best in Switzerland. On par or near enough to Mame in Zürich. A perfect balance of great beans, well roasted and brewed, combined with great milk with smooth texture and delicious microfoam. Cozy vibe in the store with a few seats. Tea was good, which is rare for great coffee shops. Pastries were okay.

Update Oct 2021: Lausanne's best coffee just got better. More space, great design and the same friendly & talented barista. Great specialty coffee close to the train station and next to Parc Milan. Flat white was excellent and the atmosphere is super hip. Not a lot of space to seat inside, but perfect to take away. Bonus: nice ceramics, standart coffee magazines available and next door to Loom, one of the best ice scream spot in Lausanne.

Great coffee, great place to sit...in case you are lucky to find a seat...or wait for a while so you enjoy your cappuccino with croissants. It's worth it in any case...

Very good coffee! The owner is friendly and an expert in brewing coffee. I tried their filter coffee and would definitely return for another cup or other Italian coffee.

As a foreign visitor, here literally shows the sense of hospitality means, the owner greets every guest with warm smile and create a really chilled atmosphere that made people really relax. The coffee is well brewed, the flavor is well-balance, no any strong taste that might make you feel uncomfortable, then the Latte is absolutely incredible, the flavor of brown sugar is overwhelming. "Meeting great people in the special place" is definitely a perfect phase to describe the whole experience, looking forward coming back next time!!!

To put it simple- the best specialty coffee bar I stepped in. And I’ve seen many. Espresso was extraordinary, flat white - smooth and delicious. The two barista are very welcoming, kind and extremely skilful. The interior deserves an individual complement: it’s a joy just to spend time inside. Ça passe crème could probably win from serving a cake or two, but the croissants they have are already delicious. Merci les gars.

Growing up in Australia, I have blessed with our cafe culture. While staying in Switzerland, I found it very challenging to find a good coffee to my liking. However, ÇA PASSEE CRÈME made my coffee perfect every time. Always greeted with a hello and a smile, the atmosphere was very welcoming. I ordered a large oat latte, and it always made perfect. The coffee was never overpowering, and the oat milk was frothed to the ideal temperature. My experience here reminded me of home, and I hope my review helps others come to this beautiful cafe. A cosy, hipster coffee shop that serves barista authentic coffee. The staff is super nice also. The only reason they don't get 5 stars is because of lack of wifi, even if one of the baristas was so kind to share his hotspot with me

Fantastic coffee and great range of beverages for non-coffee drinkers. Service is always excellent plus the staff are always warm and friendly. Super convenient location near the train station for a quick drink.

Best coffee so far in Switzerland. The cortado was silky smooth . Has a V60 pourover option. Has two pastry options (croissant and pain au chocolat) which was fine as the croissant was perfect. Very friendly service. The place looks amazing, really well decorated. Good vibes.

Great cafe, reminds me of a good Melbourne version. Real baristas who love their craft. As coffee becomes more mainstream (3rd wave) in CH, it will be good to see prices normalise a little.

Favorite coffee shop in Lausanne! The ambiance, the quality of coffee, and the baristas are top. It's a beautiful space to pass the time, and a great location to grab it to go and walk around the sous-gare neighborhood. With Steeve & Davide, you walk in as a stranger and leave as friends :)
