We
came
here
for
Dine
Out
Boston
and
loved
our
experience
here!
Decor:
Professional,
modern
chic
without
being
over-the-top.
Love
the
window
into
the
kitchen.
Food:
The
food
was
excellent.
Definitely
some
dishes
we
liked
more
than
others,
but
the
ones
we
like
are
10/10
delicious.
Everything
was
presented
wonderfully.
What
we
had
from
the
Dine
Out
Boston
menu:
Mussels
appetizer
(delicious
green
sauce,
fresh
mussels,
generous
portions).
Definitely
a
highlight.
Steak
main
dish
(beautifully
seasoned
and
cooked
perfectly
to
order,
perfectly
topped
with
a
garlic
thyme
butter.
Giannone
chicken
was
fine.
Skin
was
fun
and
crunchy
but
meat
was
just
ok.
Supporting
risotto
was
the
star
of
that
dish.
Really
wish
we
couldve
tried
the
Hake
-
probably
delicious!
Espresso
cream
puff
was
excellent.
Home-made
caramel
was
a
bit
on
the
sweet
side,
but
the
cream
in
the
cream
puff
was
subtle
and
satisfying.
Raspberry
cheesecake
was
a
bit
too
sweet,
but
the
pistachio
ice
cream
was
excellent.
Service:
We
had
a
great
time.
Our
server
was
present
but
not
imposing,
stopping
by
at
exactly
the
right
times
to
ask
how
our
food
is
and
to
clean
our
table/bring
the
next
dish.
I
wish
this
was
the
standard
for
service,
but
I
guess
that's
one
of
the
perks
of
an
upscale
restaurant.
We
did
not
feel
second
class
for
eating
off
of
the
Dine
Out
Boston
menu,
and
I
want
to
call
out
Bistro
du
Midi
for
adhering
to
the
true
spirit
of
the
single-price
prix
fixe
nature
of
Restaurant
Week,
unlike
other
upscale
restaurants
that
tack
on
additional
charges
for
more
premium
menu
choices.
We've
recommended
the
Dine
Out
Boston
menu
to
our
friends
who've
all
booked
reservations,
and
plan
to
come
back
for
a
"normal"
meal
in
the
future
(probably
for
a
special
occasion).
Compliments
to
the
restaurant
for
being
a
wonderful
part
of
Dine
Out
Boston
and
of
the
Boston
food
scene.
