A wonderful experience. This is a spiritual mountain for the Hindus and they come here to pray. There are about 450 stairs that take you to the top of the mountain that makes it easier and safer for people to reach the top. It is well maintained and thankfully kept neat and clean. A must visit if you are travelling on Makran Coastal Highway.

This site has 470 stairs. Easily assessable. My kids climbed of age 5 years and 6 years were able to climb up in less than 5 mins. For older age people especially for big tummy peoples , climbing so many stairs is very difficult. You will face breathing issue. For ladies on family way, it is not advisable to climb stairs . Please please carry your own waterbottles along as you will feel to drink water. You should listen to the melodious sound of wind . Sound of wind is very beautiful and you will feel like nature is talking to you. If weather is clear and there is no sand storm , you can easily see beautiful blue sea from top of valcano. Please guide yourself and your kids to not enter the mouth head of mud valcano just enjoy the beauty as if you fell in the mud it will be difficult to pull out. Similarly please avoid taking selfies Hope you will enjoy by following all precautions.

Chandragupt Mud Volcano situated in Hingol National Park right next to the Makran Coastal Highway (5-7 Kms from the Main Road, a single road is constructed for a near by village, a 1-2 Km patch is without road but not bumpy) any car can go easily. Apart from a couple of sign boards & a stair case nothing has been developed or no infrastructure has been provided by Balochistan Govt or the federal Govt. I believe if few basic services can be provided the place can be a good tourist spot, furthermore this is a sacred site for Hindus they come here to visit and offer Pooja etc. Last but not the least keep water and snacks with you because you won't find anything near by.

These two volcanos are bit off from coastal highway. Good landscaping. Strange land formation

Roads are not fully carpeted but you can easily reach there. That is in hard area so avoid traveling in the evening or night. You will have to take slight left from the road after 30 mints drive towards Mud volcano by following tyre prints.

A wonder of nature and perhaps a sacred place for some religion as well. The volcano is not too high, it takes about 15-20 mins to climb all the way to the top, about 90% of the way there is a stair case. Be careful on the remaining 10%, as it has a sharp incline and is slippery.. it is advisable to wear some athletic shoes or joggers etc. The view from the top is just amazing.. The volcano is still active and you can see bubbles of mud coming out of it..

RoadMaster crossed the difficult sandy paths Visit series of Kund Maleer. The tallest volcano, Chandragup 1, is about 100 meters high, and it has a 15-meter- diameter mud lake in its crater, about 970 km round trip from Hyderabad,Pakistan.

It is a very remote place only for adventures. It's a high climb to the top of the volcano though their are stairs to climb, but they are quite steep, so they are not for everyone to try.
