Overall the staff is wonderful, but my experience with Dr Park was not. She was extremely rushed and was in the exam room for no more than 5-7 minutes for a full body scan and my concerns about acne. She didn't ask any questions about my prior history with acne (which is extensive seeing as I've been on accutane before) and evident that she didn't read my chart since she suggested a medication that wouldn't work for me. There didn't seem to be any genuine interest in getting to know me (a new patient) or making me feel calm/welcome. It all just made me flustered to the point where I didn't feel I could/should ask questions. I scheduled my follow up with a different doctor and am hoping the experience is better.

Has always been a pleasant experience. Dr, Arroyo is very professional & clearly answers questions that I may have. I feel very confident in her judgement & treatment.

My daughter was having a reaction and was able to get her in right away before she left for school. They were able to mail her a prescription and it is helping already. She said Dr. Kern was professional and very nice. We will definitely return for future visits.

I just had my first appt with Dr Arroyo 3 days ago. I was very impressed by Dr Arroyo. She was very thorough & thoughtful in her approach to my care. She listened well to all of my concerns. She and her team are super efficient, while not making you feel rushed. I am quite happy that I found Dr Arroyo’s practice; I received medical care that exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this doctor.

I was greeted warmly starting with the nurse who took me back to the room. Ailyssa the PA was cheerful, explained everything, answered questions, knowledgeable. I will book with her every time going firward.

I was so pleased. Called me right on time. The doctor was nice and I felt very thorough. The assistant working with the doc today was a male and he asked if I’d prefer to have a female assist. I was fine with having him, but appreciated the option.

The entire staff was friendly, caring and accommodating. Dr. Arroyo and her nurse were amazing - made me feel like I mattered answered all of my questions in detail and made sure I knew everything they were going to do before they did it!! I switched to LAKESIDE due to being mishandled by another Dermatology practice. My most recent visit to Lakeside typified my experience with them. The staff is friendly, relaxed and happy, from the first person that greets you to all the tech staff to the doctors. Everyone knows their job well and seems to enjoy doing it. Wow, very impressed! Saw me without hardly a wait. Professional and personable. Diagnosis with plan for treatment made within minutes of visit.

Well, first of all I did not know I was seeing a PA. I'm sure PAs are very smart, but I was there to see a doctor. The young PA did nothing. Did not touch me. Didn't examine my skin. It was a total waste of time. Two days later I went to the eye doctor and was told I have a suspicious spot on my lower eyelid and should go to a dermatologist right away. Gee, I was just at a Dermatologist, oh a PA.

Very professional , accurate, friendly team members, and always on time. I’ve been a patient for years and Dr Arroyo and her team is really good!!

I have been using lakeside dermatology for quite some time now and I'm extremely happy in both the physician side and the cosmetology side. They are prompt and not counting the front desk which is not friendly the physician the cosmetologist and their staff are extremely friendly and yes I wish it would carry on to the front desk. They are thorough and I feel safe in whatever diagnosis and treatment plan they give me

This afternoon, I had my annual visit at Lakeside Dermatology. I wholeheartedly recommend this medical practice. Dr. Arroyo and staff have created an atmosphere of caring professionals. Every time I have been seen in the office, I have been treated with the utmost respect and dignity. No one rejoices over medical visits, but Lakeside Dermatology makes the experience a highlight of my week!

Once I arrived for my appointment, I was extremely satisfied. The doctor and assistants provided exceptional service. Dr. Arroyo treated me as an individual, rather than just another patient in a production line, which was a refreshing change from my previous doctor. During the assessment, she asked questions and thoroughly explained each step and the findings. My only concern was the lengthy wait of 5 months for an appointment. Lakeside Dermatology is THE place to go. Staff is great to work with. Sometimes the wait to get an appointment can be a couple of months time and that's because Dr. Arroyo is the best. She is very easy to talk with, puts you at ease and knows her stuff. Been going there for years. Very easy parking, comfortable office. I always recommend her for those needing s dermatologist.

Came in for my appointment this morning at the lybertyville office but had the worse experience with the receptionist, I didn’t like how it started so I cancelled the appointment. The receptionist said I had to pay upfront before even seeing the doctor? Are you kidding me?! And the receptionist was not the most pleasant person to talk to; very dull not friendly. I was actually disappointed that the person who booked my appointment (Rachel) was not working today, she was actually better to speak with. Anyway, I booked an appointment with Derrick Dermatology and they just informed me that I wouldn’t have to pay until after seeing the doctor. Lakeside, you need to better cater to your customers needs and get some pleasant ppl at your front desk. First impression says a lot.

Dr Arroyo is always prompt, friendly, and thorough. I have recommended her to a number of people who have been happy with the recommendation.

After over a year of dealing with pain and being referred to 5 different doctors, I made an appointment with Dr. Arroyo. Dr. Arroyo accurately diagnosed the problem, prescribed a topical medication and within weeks, the pain was gone. Dr Arroyo is compassionate, professional, and truly cares about her patients.

There is so much I appreciate about Lakeside Dermatology - more than anything Dr. Arroyo's knowledge, caring manner and down-to-earth personality. I also like that appointments are timely and there is always time for all of my questions.

Waste of money. They charged $100 to see Dr. Arroyo to get a consult and she does not spend more than 5 mins giving you advice you could have found online. Does not even examine you or your concerns. It was pathetic. Strongly urge people to stay away, they just want to charge you and push you out as quickly as possible. I was shocked as to the this kind of service as I did see great google reviews before going but that was not my experience at all. Beware.
