This place is seriously one of the best burger places I have ever been to. Tucked away in a set of corner shops in Riverhills, is it the definition of a hidden gem. Run by some great people with a massive menu, there will be something for everyone at this place. I do not get here super often, but it is always on my list of burger places for people in Brisbane to go to

This is my 3rd time here and it is ALWAYS a 10/10. Location: Easy to find, car park available and access for wheelchair is easy to get around. Venue: I'm gonna sound weird, but it always feels like when I'm at this place- time stops. Haha 🤦🏾‍♂️🤣 Seating area both outside of main shop and inside. Food: The burgers are definitely one of the BEST in BRISBANE! You have a VARIETY OF CHOICES and and none of them will disappoint. My personal favorite is the Philly Me Up Steak Burger with chips and L&P 🤤 The pricing is worth the meal, if you want good food- you better be willing to pay for it because these guys will come thru! Customer service: always 10's across the board! The ladies at the register are always polite, patient and helpful. They know how to make you laugh and always check up on you to make sure you are enjoying your meal/time there. Thanks for looking after us, see you next time!

Great selection of burgers, fast service and The Best Burger I have ever had, in my life....and I have had my fair share of burgers over the last 55 years of my life. Had the Razor Back, wow, very filling and super delicious. Worth the 40 minute drive to try "Brisbane's Best Burgers".

Had takeaway a couple times with my family and it was amazing! It had the best fish burger (“Big Barra Burger”, not pictured) I’ve tasted. I’m vegetarian now so I went there to try their options and my favourite is the “The Catch of the Day”. I’ve taken my friends there on three occasions and the sides (mozzarella sticks and vegan nuggets that I’ve tried so far) are so good! Can’t wait to go again soon!

As a burger connoisseur I make sure to try all different establishments. Despite the long wait (Friday Night Rush) this place lived up to the other reviews I’ve read. Fantastic burgers. The bun very nice. Juicy patty’s and a very decent serving size of chips. Highly recommend this place.

This is the best burger place in Brisbane. The menu is great, highly customizable, the staff is friendly and helpful, and their sauce selection is second to none. The have options for every diet and can also make salads out of the burgers! I think the only thing that could be improved might is the buns, which are the same for all burgers, I’m not sure if they’re toasted, and they could use some brioche options.

Our first visit to Just Poppy's. We are planning our next one. The only problem is to not go back every day and try and new burger. The burgers are great, I really liked the sweet potato chips, there is beer on some days. The staff are amazing and engaging. Don't think about it, just go and enjoy a good meal.

I get pretty worried when there is a thousand things on a menu, but the vegan burger I got was very tasty. I was very pleased

Crispy chips that aren't burned to crisp and beautiful juicy burgers that will make you feel satiated but not bloated with that dirty greasy feeling you get from other burger joints. Friendly and easy going staff even during busy hours, they also follow the protocol when it comes to following the health directives. It takes me half an hour to get to Just Poppy's but I make time for it. Please keep up the good work with the beautiful healthy foods and cleanliness.

We were there just before 2 pm this afternoon, the lady served us still showing great energy which is amazing. We ordered one steak burger and one beef burger also a serve of chips. Price is very fair for the portion of the food, and this was the BEST steak burger I've ever tasted! The beef burger is very yummy, too, according to my partner. Chips are crunchy and generous size. We'll definitely come back again. Thank you for your great food and hospitality.

We enjoy just poppy's as we always do. However, we realised that not only the price increase which is a norm due to covid but the portion of the burger has shrunk in size. We still enjoyed the food, taste and service despite that.

Put order in for a 20 mins ahead. Got there on time and chips tepid and soggy, hamburger warm. Not friendly. Never again.

Drove from Morningside and boy was it worth the drive. Ordered the 'riverhills plaza' burger and my god it was sensational. Heaps of flavour and just the right amount of sauce. Great chips as well. Good prices as well. Highly recommended.

Sorry have to unfortunately disagree with alot of the previous reviews. Burgers here are nice but not worth the price. I dined here precovid & the burgers were bigger & the price smaller. Today I ordered what was entitled "Big Barra Burger (A meal on its own)" and I was unfortunately left feeling hungry as it was anything BUT big & even after paying $13.50 just for the burger you would still need chips to help make up the meal. My piece of Barra was made up of 2 halves of only half a piece of fish. Add cheese, a small handful of lettuce & sauce & that was it. My friends enjoyed their burgers but I wouldn't go as far as classing them as the best burgers in Brisbane. Obviously very busy & popular as I felt rushed with our order but friendly enough considering there was only 1 guy behind the counter taking orders then serving too (thanks for your hard work & friendly smile when you brought it out to our table). The beer battered chips were tasty & big cut Unfortunately would not dine here again.

The best burgers in Brisbane by a long way. If you’re vegan like my wife they’ve got you covered with a huge range to choose from. The chips are freshly cooked and are beautiful (don’t forget some gravy!). You know it’s the place to be when the cops travel across the city for a feed! A***

Incredible burgers! Haven't been here is years (we moved too far away) but it was worth the trek back. Amazing food, now with a bar and heaps more seating. Live music friday nights too! Will absolutely be coming back!!

This has become the usual spot for my housemate and I and friends to get burgers from locally. The owner is wonderful, catering to the utmost standard to gluten-free requirements, huge range of great sauces. The burgers we had last night were phenomenal, even when reheated (And a little bit tipsy). Only thing of note was the chips and gravy a bit cold, and the gravy, a bit salty.

Just poppy's is unreal. Great burgers and sides, at unreal prices. Whatever you love, they no doubt have. Heaps of nice space to chill and eat and relax if your preference as well. Never had a bad experience, and will be keen to keep coming back!

Love this place!! They go the extra mile to make sure you're happy and their vegetarian burger options are awesome! Come here a lot and last time the owner made sure my mum who was visiting from overseas had a Just Poppy's souvenir to bring home and she was over the moon!

Menu is enormous, with about 70 diggerent burgers, they cater for heaps of different dietary requirements. The take it seriously, as they've got a separate cooking station for Celiacs, Service was super friendly, followed up on the quality of the food, and the quality of the drinks. Genuinely up for a conversation. Speaking of quality, top notch burgers, and the gluten free bun was great quality. A few beers on tap, the regular pub fare, not a huge selection of craft beers, but they cover most bases. Dog friendly, good ambience for a friendly conversation, what more could you ask for

It was a busy Saturday night with heaps of customers. Live band - loud music, so much so that it became irritating noise. Patties were dry and overcooked / burnt, no sauce. Used to be good but quality dropped.

Decided to give Poppy’s a go because I needed to scratch the itch for a works burger. And damn, the “Big Bad Burger” was everything I hoped it would be. The perfect works burger. Thick and juicy - but not greasy. This place is a bit like Grill’d but without the rip off prices and slider sized burgers. A good, proper burger when you want to cheat on your diet and go all out. The chips here are also excellent. And yes, the gravy lives up to its hype. We ordered take away and everything was ready to go when we came to pick up the food. This will be the only place we go for a burger from now on.

The burgers are really nice and delicious! Service was good, but gets complicated when asking for a glass with ice. The place/building is old (the whole mall is very old) and needs better seating area.

Exactly what you expect from what looks a family run business of 16 years. Service was excellent given the busy night, 30 min wait for food was made better with a $6 schooner whilst listening to some live music. Glad to be apart of your success.

Absolutely amazing. Very quick service, amazing fresh food. The two owners were working hard in their business and remembered the family (who travel from across the border to come here). Very affordable prices: 5x burgers with 6 lots of sides (including multiples of dimsom/spring rolls ect) and 3 drinks for less than $150 it all came within 20 mins from ordering. Very friendly atmosphere. Always love coming here!!!

Absolutely amazing burgers - the best I have had in 53 years. I had The Flood it and my daughter one of the avocado vegan options, along with cheesy fries. The food was hot, delicious and plentiful. It was served quickly. The staff were very friendly and efficient. I can’t recommend this place enough. We visited on a Saturday afternoon.

Great burger restaurant for dine in and takeaway. Plenty of burger varieties to suit everyone! Chicken, beef, lamb, vegetarian. What a delicious feed. I would recommend the ‘Chicken Little’ burger for a basic start with cheese and mayo added. Tender chicken breast served on a fresh bread bun with salad. Side of sweet potato fries works a treat. The cheezy wheezy fries are also mouth watering for those who want a bigger feed. Just Poppy’s tastes like the best home cooked wholesome burgers you can have. Ingredients are fresh and don’t taste like frozen preservative filled patties. You get what you pay for. The staff are excellent and service is always on point. There can be an occasional 30-40min wait if the store is super busy at peak Friday/Saturday night times however this can easily be forgiven as I can understand why so many people are ordering food from Just Poppy’s. 5/5 stars

First experience at Poppy's and holy heck, can't wait for my next visit. The variety was huge (which is an understatement) and the food quality was hands down the best burgers I have had. It does get very busy due to the popularity of this place so do yourself a favour and look at the menu online.

Wonderful crispy soft buns. The staff are very careful and compliant with COVID restrictions, we dined in and it felt safe and clean.
