Fascinating history of an amazing architect. It is a small museum, but our tour guide was wonderful. You can then take your time in the garden and view a couple small exhibits that give you a timeline of Plečnik’s development.

Plečnik house was a fascinating introduction to Slovenia’s famous architect. We didn’t know what to expect before visiting but we’re so glad we did. We had a wonderful guide who really brought the house alive and the tour started very soon after we arrived so we didn’t have to wait round long. I would definitely recommend!

A fantastic visit. Opt for the guided tour as you will see parts of the house a standard enemy won't allow you to see. Our tour guide was fantastic. She was very knowledgeable and brought the house alive

Absolutely the best in Ljubljana. This should be seen by every visitor interested in the genius loci of the places he visits. Sensitive renovation, beautiful interiors full of evidence of the architect's life. Wonderful details, an hour to visit is really not enough! And last but not least I recommend rest in the garden of the house.

We did the tour here the other day. Everything was very well presented and the guide was very knowledgeable. If you're into Architecture & Design this place should be on your list for Ljubljana.

Very nice to see Plecniks house and his influences on the city. Must see for every tourist, who is interested in architecture and arts. Guides were very nice, groups were not too big and language was Eng/Slo.

Interesting look at Plecnik' s life is and home for the last half of his life. Slovenia's Frank Lloyd Wright perhaps. Well worth a visit. Give it 60 minutes.

Plečniks own house is as amazing as his other work. The house is kept the same way he used to live there and the guided tour with lots of insights in his life was a very interesting. Without the tour you only get to see the small exhibition about his life and work, which is also very nicely done. The house is absolutely worth visiting.

Jože Plečnik is such an amazing artist! He is a very structured person and has a lot of interesting things he had done in his life. I admire him a lot. I think everyone should know about his greatness!

We decided to visit the Plecnik House based on a recommendation from friends who were visiting Ljubljana week or so earlier. The guide was good and had very useful information about Plecnik and his contributions to Ljubljana as well as other European cities. His bedroom and drawing room are well preserved. Very interesting and worthwhile visiting.

A very interesting museum of a person that meant a lot for Slovenia, Ljubljana and ex-Yugoslavia. Best for architects and designers but also for everybody else. Highly recommended to take the guided excursion cause he or she will speak of the things u will never find out urself unless u write his biography and dig into millions of papers. Small but cosy home of the greatest architect of the last century's country that does not exist any more

The guided tour around the house (Plečnik’s living and working space) was very insightful. If you care about architecture and city planning, the work of Pleček is very interesting since he had a huge influence on how Ljubljana looks today. Note that visitors have to take part of a guided tour in order to see the actual house. See the web page for timetables.

What a great homage to Plečnik. His home and work place. Always awesome to see where a great architect's juices were flowing and allowed production of his masterpieces. The environment is very calming and I am definitely envious of his home.

Beautiful and more personal experience of Plečnik's heritage. Take a look into his house and get familiar with his ascetic yet aesthetic ways of life.

An interesting introspective into Plečniks private as well as professional world with plenty of details that have been presented by a perfectly speaking guide. Definitely a must visit in Ljubljana.

well maintained Plečnik's house with guided tour on the hour if you want to see all the rooms. kind tour guide but very mediocre & not kind receptionist girl. you get a anice insight into Plečnik's late years - as if you visited him and he was there sketching, smoking, eating or cuddling his dog...

For an affordable price the short tour is good. If you are interested more in the personal life of Plecnik you will enjoy this. If you care more about the outside influence on society and the exact amount of buildings he did and inspired, the tour doesn't explain that. Neat to see the way a person works.

Very nice overview of the life of Plečnik, who more or less designed Ljubljana downtown as we know it. The guided tour highly recommended.

Great place to visit. Hard to believe, but wonderful, that all of Plecnik's personal items are still there exactly as he leftthem at the time of his death. The guided tour is worth waiting for and the money- one each hour, on the hour.

I had a great morning here! Tours of the apartment leave every hour and I happened to be the only one of my tour. We walked through each of the rooms and learnt about the history of Plečnik. It was very interesting to learn about his life. I highly recommend, the garden and exhibition were also interesting but the highlight was definitely the guided tour!
