Came hungover and left more hungover. Two basic meals took 20 minutes, arrived cold, only hot thing was the microwaved gravy, staff were so unorganised, spent most of time chatting to each other while the queue piled up this included being on their phones in front of customers and enjoying their own lunches at the front counter?? Drive through closed because staff clearly couldn’t keep up. Poorly managed and short staffed.

Just awful. I wasn't ill afterwards so 2 stars. One poor wee guy serving and doing the drive through, dirty tables, floor, windows.

The young worker's in this shop were excellent at their work,even though they looked scared to death to be anything but. The food was ok and served without delay . The reason I gave 3 stars ⭐⭐⭐for this KFC was! The management sitting in a corner interviewing for jobs within customers earshot. We heard a former business owners interview for a General Manager job and was told he wasn't really suitable,but! he was then offered a beginner's job which of course he refused. We think the guy spoke with authority and definitely looked the part! We then thought his future employers thought thier jobs might be in danger one day with such an over qualified person working for them Hence the reason for 3 stars.⭐⭐⭐. Interviews should be done in PRIVATE ,not infront of paying customers. Unprofessional and Humiliating.

No one knew what they were doing on the desk. They had 4 orders on and people started complaining about waiting time. I could see my order only needed gravy adding to it to complete it, and it say there 15 minutes... I had to tell them to add the gravy and give it to me. Cold, dry and generally awful. Strange that the last KFC I had was the same 7 years ago. Awful

Great friendly staff was semi busy for lunch but the fiod was gd and the app worked on the machine but still had a few bug issues with it on my phone.

Called in at 9:38 and it was completely locked up. Drive through with a cone and front door locked. Seems they don’t stay open till 10:00.

Better than the KFC at Meadowbank Edinburgh, but still not great. Meagre portions. Dirty tables. Floor soaking wet all over that forced customers to walk like penguins or slip on their a***. Should have gone to the burger place next door

Served by Adam at the drive thru and he was super efficient and easy to order with. We've had issues constantly with other kfc's but he was great. Nice to see someone who really knows what he's doing 😁😁

I had an incredible experience at KFC on Straiton Road in Edinburgh! The staff was not only friendly but also highly professional, ensuring top-notch service. The restaurant was impeccably clean, which added to the overall positive atmosphere. And the food? It was piping hot and delicious! The friendly ambiance made my visit truly enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Just arrived home putting out the food and no rice box , very disappointed. I realise it's busy but not putting in all the order and checking it Wish I had looked before leaving store but still missing my lunch because the staff are busy is no help to me as a diabetic it's a pain the the proverbial.

As usual staff is useless and unexperienced... You pull up at the drive through only to wait way to long while inside it isn't busy at all... Love the food, shame staff ruins the experience.. Not the first time.. Ended up driving around and ordering inside.. Might as well close the drive through lol

Literally the slowed KFC ever. So much for quick service. To top it off the food was cold. Probably waiting the same length of time as I was in the drive thru queue

Order was wrong. Wrong sauce on tower burger and no cheese(sweet chilli for some reason), given wrong type of chicken. Portions in snack box was half size in other KFCs. Let manager know and was told "OK thanks". All round poor experience.

On one visit my partner and I ordered at the drive through and had to wait 15-20 minutes for two meals and it wasn't busy at all. The boy serving us also got both of our orders wrong. Tonight we dined in and had to wait over half an hour for a sharing bucket and it was not very busy. Staff were all just standing around and my partner plus another customer had to go up to the till to ask how much longer our food would be. My partner was told they were waiting on fries to be ready, and offered him extra fries (which weren't even ready yet) as compensation for waiting. Another employee was having their break in the restaurant while vaping and playing videos on their phone very loudly. I will not be returning to eat here after my experiences.

Staff fantastic. First KFC in years to serve suckling chicken. A bucket was well balanced and not just legs as most go. Best KFC and great staff

Fire alarm went off while awaiting my order, and the manageress told the staff to leave but left me and other customers to make up our own mind if we were evacuating. No direction from anyone where to stand or update what was happening. I did get my order as it was presumably a false alarm thank goodness however had it been a real fire it would have been very different.

Chicken was pink and soft feel sick thank you for first experience.

I read the reviews before coming here lol Staff are friendly and helpful, wait was not long at all, I guess it depends on the timing (I went on a Sunday evening at about 7.30pm) Ordered a bucket and the chicken seems to be overcooked, not really sure how that can happen. Hot wings were good as normal though

Where to start! Terrible experience, ordered through the app (drive through collection)... where they apparently couldn't fulfil my order so I had to go in to collect. Waited 20mins for them to faff around, wee guy who was serving the chips much have been starving as he was having a prowe munch. One of the servers (who was asked by a customer how much longer for the corn on the cobb) laughed at her, before quoting her a further 12 minutes after the initial 4minutes. No lids for the drinks. Worker went outside, me following right behind didn't even hold the door open despite the large order including drinks and milkshakes. Just rude. Shocking service. Not organised. Unprofessional and pretty much sums up why folk get a bad rep working there.

If you’re hungry or in a rush, make sure to stay away from this place. Orders normally takes 15-20mins, but when busier, the longest I’ve waited for was 45mins, and I lost patience and asked for refunds (by which that’s no longer in their system). Also the drive thru is absolutely pointless, as you’d be stuck in a queue for easily 20-30 mins with no way to turn around. If this can be considered as ‘fast food’ by its speed, then even Nando’s is more qualified than they do. I’m aware KFC franchises are run terribly across the UK, but this has to be worst of them all. Staffs are complacent enough that even they themselves sit at tables surrounded by rubbish for their own meal. That’s said I’ve never seen tables or floors being cleared here by staffs instead of customers, and the toilet floor is always like an ice rink with not even a ‘caution wet floor’ sign. So overall I think this place needs to have their franchise agreement terminated, as it’s better for both customers as well as KFC for potential legal claims.

I like this KFC service is really fast inside and outside. Just be careful not to drive past the order point at the drive through, I get so focused on the menu that I drive right past it every time.

I went right at the end of the day, just before they closed. The staff were great, the chicken was well cooked and tasty but it was let down by the chips. They were almost cold and I noticed that there were quite a few portions stacked up that had obviously been there a while.

We tried here for the first time, on first impressions the staff seemed all over, their was no organization at all absolute chaos, half the staff their were so miserable not willing to help out or even motivated to deal with customers, I'm sorry but if you don't want to work their move on and let someone who enjoys the job work their, apart from the staff the food was actually great, I won't be returning here once bitten twice shy, who ever runs this store needs to seriously sort it out or it'll end up lost

Terrible mess outside with bins badly over flowing.. Still I went in to place an order but despite being reasonably quiet there was not a table clean enough to eat at with most not even cleared of food wrappers. So, when such little care is given to outside area and inside food areas. I did not risk that the same care may be in place in the food prep area and left without ordering food.. I do not often leave comments on food courts " they are what they are, fast food" however this was bad enough for me to take the time to post this review..

Exactly what you'd expect from KFC. Cheeky zinger box meal and a boneless banquet. Only issue is I'm pretty sure the hot wings and the gravy were older than the laddie who served me

This place is a joke. The last 3 orders we've had from here have been awful. Overcooked chicken, unfriendly staff, staff who haven't a clue and the ultimate insult, getting home only to discover that what we paid for, was not what we were received. 😡 Paid for a wicked variety 10 piece bucket and on opening the tub, found 6 pieces of chicken. No fillets and no hot wings. I couldn't go back with it as we live 30 miles away. This branch of KFC is a disgrace and nothing like others we've visited.

Food was very tasty, and warm. Alot of the tables hadn't been cleaned though which is the only down side. Still a good fast food restaurant.

Food was good. Tasted fresh, and not like it had been just sitting for a while. But the store itself had quite a bad smell inside so we chose to eat outside.

Been here multiple times and each time theres been a different problem. Food order wrong, food taking forever to come, food arriving cold. Overall, probably the worst tasting KFC I’ve had. I won’t be wasting my my money here again.

I feel frustrated every time my family and I decide to go to this KFC. It is always unexpectedly closed to the public. And with service only on Drive. Why does this constantly happen?! 😡😡😡

Won’t be back in a hurry, the place was disgusting, exterior and interior bins overflowing, tables not cleared or wiped No paper for receipt, no table numbers available even though machine asks you to enter a number, no napkins available, had to wait 10 mins on food being prepared which I didn’t mind, what I did mind was having to listen to staff bickering as the guy cooking would tell the guy serving how long the food would be, also the other guy serving moaning constantly about how rubbish the bags are. However was managing needs to have a look at the place. The restaurant wasn’t busy so no excuses 11/12/22 @ 15:00

Food was hot but I had to repeat my order about 3/4 times. The self serve order board didn't have what I wanted to order. Food was out quick enough.

Food is just typical kfc, chips were cold and soggy. Chicken portions and portions of chips were missing from bucket meals. There was one decent member of staff a young red headed lass ,how she hasnt quit is beyond me . The rest of staff were clueless

Four stars for food. It is KFC, but good for KFC. Service was good, the place was nice, clean and not too busy. It is expensive though.
