    Worst IHOP ever! Ordered my food via the website and selected curbside pickup. Food never came out so I went in after 20 mins of waiting for my order upon the host checking in the kitchen the host told me it would be 5 more mins, after 20 mins I asked for a status update and I was told that the food is ready but I had to wait until they bagged the orders in front of mine which is the normal process (I was fine with that). Once I received my food I proceeded to the car. When I checked my food the pancakes were undercooked and the sirloin tips were a cut up burger 🤮. I went back in and asked for a manager. I was told that the manager Trayonna was cooking on the line and that it would be a wait (I patiently waited while others around me fussed and cursed due to bad service). The manager passed by me twice and didn’t acknowledge me until I asked her are you the manager. I waited a total of one hour and she asked me to come back for a refund when I said no she asked could she call me at 2-3pm when service slows down (l was fine with that). I called her at 3:50 because I never heard from her and she tells me the GM is working on my refund. Now it is 6:30 pm and I decided to go back to check on my refund because I haven’t heard back and I didn’t get a written agreement that she would process my refund. Here I am again waiting, it’s been 20 mins and the manager Trayonna hasn’t came out to acknowledge me she had the staff relay the message that she’s working on it. The GM was never here so she lied. This could have been easily resolved if the manager has better communication skills. I would love to talk to the GM’s Ron or Nya.

    I was in town for a visit. My son took me to breakfast. The young lady was an absolute pleasure. The food was great and of course I spent time with my son. Hope to be back soon. I had the double blueberry pancakes however I don't see it on the list.

    Ihop is something that I really enjoy, but last night I had the worst experience out of the many years that I have ever had!!! To keep this review short, I believe that because it was a takeout order, I was given what I would consider “garbage”! What I received was worst than “last week’s leftovers!!! Dry hard stale hash browns, and undersized dry pancakes, not even the “Harvest grain and nuts” pancakes that I know that my husband and I ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS order! Needless to say, my disappointment was unexpectedly overwhelmingly disproportionate because during this pandemic I look forward to the small things in life that are available. Under normal circumstances this would not be such a “big deal”. But I needed the owner, cooks and staff of this particular establishment to understand how important what they do is. I will NEVER ORDER FROM YOUR ESTABLISHMENT AGAIN ! And neither will anyone else that I know.

    Only myself and one other person in this place and food was cold and coffee was warm. You could hear the staff in the back laughing, which is okay as long as your customers are taken care of. Not once was we giving the water or coffee until after the cold food was served. I just don't get why IHOP thinks it's okay to give this type of customer service and cold food. I am done with IHOP. The sad thing about this company is this is how 99% of them work.

    Very dysfunctional, whatever they’re doing its not working, an hour sitting down waiting for food with no signs of life from waiters, Eventually we just got up and left. Id say they cant handle the amount of customers but honestly the first time i went, their were like 3 other people in the restaurant and still waited an hour for drinks. Its sucks because i love the pancakes from ihop but this has happened to many times now. They should clean house and try again

    HORRIBLE SERVICE by Kayla!!! Don't come unless you're not hungry. Be ready to wait from 1 hour 30 mins to 2 hours for your food. Waitress had a disgusting attitude, we were nice the entire time but she did not cooperate. Food was good served cold. And incomplete. We never got our pancakes or our french toast. Server's name is Kayla 🤮

    I went to IHOP Catonsville with high hopes and took my husband which was his first time. It was not very crowded but we had to wait almost 40 minutes to get a slice of french toast (with rotten bananas), plain omelette (the only thing cooked well) and an avocado toast where the avocado covered 1/4 top of the toast and rest of the bread was empty. I despise my decision of spending money and time here. Will never go to IHOP again.

    We were traveling from outta town and had a really good time. We needed a nice, enjoyable meal and that's exactly what we got. The food was delicious and we received great customer service. It was a busy Sunday brunch, but we still had a great time. I appreciate the warm, welcoming environment. Thank you very much.

    If I could go lower than 1 star, I would. Ordered online 6 pancakes (a short stack and a full stack). It said it would be ready at 10:42 and to call from the curbside spot. Called and got put in hold for 2 minutes only to get hung up on. Tried calling again and it couldn't be completed as dialed. Went inside and they had a backlog of orders. Tried to get info about mine, but they wouldn't go back and look. Every few minutes I would ask about it. Finally, after waiting 30 minutes, I asked if I could cancel the order and get a gift card, so the cashier finally went back to check and brought out a bag. It was for my daughters who had now been waiting at home for almost an hour so I hurried out. As we left, I checked the bag and realized they hadn't included the chocolate sauce, marshmallows, creme sauce, or whipped cream. Tried calling the store and they immediately hung up. Every subsequent attempt "could not be completed as dialed" I have had previous subpar service experiences at this location, but I will never return after this. Update: After getting food from elsewhere for myself, I got home and learned that the chocolate chocolate chip pancakes not only were missing all of the toppings, they hadn't even put chocolate chips in the chocolate chip pancakes.

    We came in as a party of 2 and the food took over 40 minutes to come out when we were 1 of 2 tables in the restaurant (the other was a family of 3). I said nothing. And then as we are eating the food, we spot this mouse running around and yelled for assistance. With no response we waited to see if anyone would come out of the kitchen until we watched it GO INTO THE KITCHEN. Then I banged on the kitchen door to get someone’s attention and our waitress finally came out and we told her about the mouse. Her response was to say she would tell the manager, and when she came back out she wordlessly handed us the check with no update. I did not finish my food out of disgust, it genuinely seems they have knowledge of the mice issue and have opted to ignore it.

    Servers hair was very unsanitary as it was down to her calves. The restaurant was pretty much empty so she definitely should have been a bit more attentive to our table especially since she was serving all servers/bartenders so we know exactly what should be going on. All her side work was almost empty as well. ( syrup, reg. sugar and salt ) This is my second time to the Catonsville location and I would not recommend it.

    Came with the family for lunch. Not expecting much from a IHOP but this was terrible. The waitress did not introduce herself and rarely made I contact. The food was bland and merely Luke warm, not hot. It’s almost as if the food sat for awhile which is strange because they weren’t busy. The syrup on the table tasted weird and water down. The waitress never came back to check if we needed anything or if we were satisfied with the food. The waitress was gone for an extended period of time. I had to go find someone to give me my check. I won’t be coming back. That’s what I get for getting fast food.

    Staff handles a very busy restaurant gracefully. We waited to be seated, waited to be offered drinks, waited to order, waited quite a while for food. Everyone was so pleasant and clearly working hard, we weren't bothered by any of it. Half of my order was wrong, but not anything I couldn't eat, so I chose not to send it back. The food was good and we left there stuffed. We'll go back.

    Walked in and was met with... nothing. The hostess NEVER asked who was next. People that came in after us were seated before us. The acting manager looked to be about 16, which would have been fine if he acted like he knew what he was doing. Finally, one of the wait staff stepped up to the plate and got things moving. He finally sat us at a table but lo and behold, ants were circling the 1 container of syrup on the table. If that wasn't enough, we then hear yelling and hollering coming from the back. One of the (pregnant) wait staff is hysterically yelling about being unfairly treated and rushes by into the restroom. And then in come the police. Y'all... a mess. A hot flaming mess.

    Probably the best experience I’ve had at an ihop. Service was great and food was hot. I paid for another persons bill and the manager thanked me. Management made sure every table was taken care of. Very surprising but it happened. Good job whoever runs this location.

    Me and my kid came today and we had Tay as our server. She did amazing, she was polite and respectful. She was filled with love and smiles. Great experience with her. Food came out great and hot.

    It was a pleasant visit for my first breakfast of the New Year. Our waitress was busy, yet really understood the staffing issue. Coffee came fast, so all was well. My only complaint was the delivery of the warm syrup. For some reason, it was delivered in an open cup, as shown in the picture. A few seats looked as though they were cut by past customers. What a shame. I can not wait to use the outdoor seating in the spring. Even short staff the bathroom was clean GOOD Job.

    I ordered curbside at 9:30am and didn’t get my food until 10:24am. I had to walk in with my sick infant. I initially waited and notified online I was outside and called and was told that they would check and bring it out. They hung up never called back and never came outside. I eventually walked in and my food was sitting at the counter. Several curbsides and pick ups received their food while I was waiting and after the initial call no one picked up again. My food was cold and incorrect. Would not recommend.

    We been coming here almost 2 years now. But this is the first time we saw lot's of happy face. I called the manager her name was Buffy, and I told her keep doing whatever you guys doing. Our food was on time, and it was hot. We thank the server for doing great job.

    Came on a Sunday morning and it was busy. However there was no wait. Our waiter Daynira was so friendly and welcoming. They were out of blueberry compost so I didn’t want my food when it came. Instead of her getting an attitude or being rude about it. She acted regretful they there were out and made recommendations that put me at ease. I was very pleased and happy with my visit and food. You don’t always get a waiter that care about her job and her customers actually enjoying their experience.

    What the hell is this?!….I am really tired of this place and will stop ordering from there. They never get my order correctly. I am either missing an item or they give me crumbs. Multiple times I’d have to tell them to redo an item or have them find me my missing item. This place needs to either shutdown or learn to properly complete someone’s order!

    Me and my fiancé decided to get up and go have breakfast so we came here . We were seated immediately but the tables were dirty there was trash on the floor, we arrived around 8:30am . The pancakes were cold and also fell apart as soon as I attempted to cut them, Summer the waitress had me two more made and they were even worst,the orange juice was way to sour I ordered hot tea and never sipped it . A waist of time and money My fiancé sad this stuff is terrible .. When this location opened up it was not like this at all .And the big steak omelette we both ordered made my head hurt drastically.We also had 4 sausage links maybe that’s what made my head hurt. But the waitress summer was very nice and understandable. Sad to say but we won’t be back.And I only gave the stars because of the waitress..

    Terrible customer service. Cold food. World's tiniest cup of gravy to go with my country fried steak. Then when I asked for more, politely, I waited hungry for 10-15 hungry minutes and Kevin brought me out an ice cold additional tiny cup of gravy. No ketchup in bag, even though he insisted there was.

    Waitress was seasoned but it's kind of ghetto. Feels like that grandma's house that will whoop you if you don't listen. I will say though, the orders came out right and the food was made quickly. But I'd rather just go to a regular IHOP.

    I thought since it was empty when we got in there the food would be hot & good & the service would be good , The food was horrible chicken strips was hard burnt and dry . The country steak looked disgusting and was served to me with a cold cup of jello textured gravy ( the server did put it in the microwave and bring it back )I still didn't even eat it looked horrible like they fried a RED brick. Service was also trash we sat next to the kitchen where we sat and heard someone LOUD personal conversation the entire time we was there coming from the kitchen.

    Unbelievable experience last evening!!! It was the most unpleasurable dining that we have ever had. Not to mention the nausea from the food. There was really no manager to complain to because they were in the kitchen arguing. The waitress nails were so long into our plate. The food was very hard especially the potatoes and the grease was just in the plates. After we did complain, the waitress could not tell us if they were making our plates again or taking items off and replacing them. I am not going to list all the complaints because the list is wayyyy to long. If someone that cares from IHOP gets this message, please we want our money back for the disgusting experience that we had. Please DO NOT GO THERE until they revamp this place..............

    I ordered a tall stack with a burger and two side pancakes. 7 total pancakes. I called ahead and asked for extra syrup to be put in the bag. Kevin assured me that he would put it in there. I get all the way home, no syrup. How does a pancake house not put syrup in the bag. I've never ordered from this IHOP. EDIT: So Kevin and Dominque demonstrated amazing customer service. They gave me a refund and were both very congenial about. Thanks so much!! I really appreciate it!!

    Terrible service. Arrived there at 9:40 wasn’t Seated until 10:05 while the staff were walking around and socializing. Once seated the staff seated several other customers. I waited until 10:40 before asking the staff where my server was. My server was attending to all of the other customers in the area but not me. The staff I approached went to get her. The server took several minutes to come over then apologized for the wait and took my order. I’m dissatisfied with my experience at this IHOP and it’s unfortunate for them that I’m a secret shopper paid by corporate to attend the Resteraunt and rate the service and the food. I’m not supposed to reveal that so I hope I don’t get in trouble.

    Have always had great service and food when dining in. Ordered delivery from here for the first time and food was hot and fresh and all my order was correct. I appreciate that the winter wonderland pancakes were deconstructed(toppings on the side) so they wouldn’t get soggy, my daughter really enjoyed putting it together and made a happy face! So happy to have a great breakfast spot near by.
