Awesome meals. Great atmosphere. Fast service. Came here with my Sparkly lady 💖. Ordered Roasted chicken salad and 250g steak with chips and salad for $48. The chicken with basil was fantastic, softly cooked, lovely creamy salad. The steak was cooked well (medium rare, but perhaps more medium) and was awesome to eat. And the black pepper sauce. My goodness. I love pepper sauce, and this was by far the best pepper sauce I've had ever. But beware it is spicy! (But lovely!!!!).

Below average service from unenthusiastic zombie-like staff, met with similar quality food. Such a shame because this place looks so cool and has a nice theme. Huge potential. But I won’t be coming back. I can get dry chicken and bland chips much closer to home. Also. I paid for a can of Coke Zero. And they gave me a glass filled with ice and used only half the can. So I essentially paid full price for half a can of coke.

Visited for lunch today..value for $$$ ok…service staff very questionable…staff member who brought meals to table had gave off the vibe off someone had crapped in her cereal bowl this morning..absolutely no smile, no asking how the meal was, was there anything else we needed?? Spent more time chatting and laughing with fellow staff than looking after the people who pay her wage…

Everytime I go to Westfield Chermside, I pop into Tapworks. Super friendly staff always make me feel welcome. Delicious food and with a rotating supply of craft beers, there is always something new and tasty to try. Will be back here soon I'm sure. I just wish they sold some merch, so I could walk around and show my support.

The service was fantastic. A really friendly woman taking our order. The Burger was very nice and comes with a nice portion of chips. The steak was very dry and chewy and the Chicken Schnitzel was a very large portion and great value for money but it was also very dry, definitely need gravy or sauce with it. There are plenty of drink options from Alcohol to soft drinks. The aesthetic of this place is wonderful. Open design with bar in the middle and with outdoor seating available. The price is on the high end but not anything more than similar options.

Highly recommend 💯 . Steak and carbonara is cooked in perfection . Good varieties of tap beers and the service is really good. Very nice people . Perfect for after shopping experience . Kudos to the chefs 🤗

One of the few places still serving food at 8:30pm on a Friday night! Good selection of drinks including cocktails. The salted caramel espresso martini was pretty nice. Had a steak sandwich which I enjoyed but (as is often the case) found it had a bit too much sauce and was getting soggy as a result. Overall a good experience

My wife had salad with pumpkin and the advacado was bruised and should not have been served plus it was full of lettuce leaves and very little pumpkin. My steak sandwich was almost uneatable as the meat was full of gristle. Not a place we would recommend.

Always a good place to catch up with friends & enjoy excellent food. The cocktails were really good & the small bites - lip smacking

Food was delicious we had the 3 snacks for $33. We chose chops, chicken Bites and garlic cheesy bread. The apple cider on tap is bubbly and nice balance. Not to sweet or sharp. Definitely recommend checking the pub out.

Just came in for lunch today with my friend, I got the steak sandwich and he got the rump both made to perfection onion rings were the best I’ve ever had and garlic bread was amazing. Lovely staff behind the bar too! Compliments to the chef, thank you guys I will absolutely be back and will bring more friends.

Funny how an obvious staff member tells someone to “get a life” in their response to a review, when a frequent customer waits until there are no other customers at the bar and quietly goes up to the bar to give feedback and query the quantity of a $10 half bowl of chips. I think a few people would be upset to get the 1/2 bowl of chips pictured here. Normally love Tapworks, just had a bad experience here today with the qty of chips and cleanliness of the tables. Sometimes it’s better to just take a review (or feedback) on board and try to improve things for your paying customers. The explanation for the chips was heard and nothing more was said. Why take the time during work to pretend to be another reviewing customer, just to insult a regular customer who is giving feedback? It just takes a few tables being cleaned (and maybe smaller bowls to give the impression that a $10 bowl of chips is a full bowl of chips) to make a better experience for your customers. Beer selection is great.

I'll preface by saying it was 10 minutes until kitchen close when we ordered. Wife and I ordered the pork belly. The mashed potato was good, but the rest of the veges were undercooked considerably and the pork belly itself was mostly cold. Perhaps the first 1cm was warm, the entire inside was variations of cold.

Good spot for a beer plus some snacks. Very handy position if you have kids old enough to use the playground outside. You can enjoy a refreshing beverage and a snack while supervising.

The food was good and the servings were large. Have been there a few times and I've no complaints. Update: I have to point out that the children's cups are disgusting. I haven't seen such a dirt-covered cup before, let alone offering it to a baby in a restaurant. Please, try hot soapy water and put in a little effort to wash it. If the cup is yellow, it should be yellow and not with a layer of brown dirt from being unwashed properly.

Unfortunately my beef brisket burger was inedible. It was not traditional beef brisket which is a soft and a pulled meat. It was very thin like sizzle steak, overcooked and unchewable. I provided feedback to the wait staff. I was really disapointed and now wish I had sent back the complete meal and spoken to the Manager as all I could eat was the hot chips. I was not offered a refund.

The food was good, recommend the buffalo wings, but the cleanliness of the restaurant needs a lot of improvement. There were food scraps and trash under the seats.

Lockdowns are over guys and you have zero entitlement to people’s data without their permission. This is a great place but I hate the fact that instead of just processing to Apple-pay like everyone else, they make me give my name, phone, and email as compulsory items to progress to payment. Which then forces me up to the bar to place the order which is inefficient for everyone.

Excellent food. The menu is large and exceptionally well-prepared for the season. Everything's so reasonably priced and made that it exceeds my expectations. Well done 👌

Great beers, cocktail list. Starters are nice but splurged for the Sirloin steak and EVERY Bite was gristle. Had to swap with my boyfriend. Also small portion size

Apart from the very tough and not crispy pork belly the food was great. I could not eat the pork belly and was met with a sour look from the waitress when I said it was not cooked properly. The rest of the food was great just avoid the pork belly.

The food is amazing here! We had the 3 share plates- chicken bites, calamari and sweet potato fries. Really tasty, good portion sizes teamed with the alcoholic ginger beer, I think it was called snakebite? Yum. Great fast service as well. Live music playing outside just topped off a great afternoon :)

Friendly staff, comfortable environment, a variety of meal options, sufficient and inexpensive, and a rich selection of alcoholic beverages. A recommended five-star store, will definitely visit again.

Never had a "short" long island before, still it works. Very sweet, sickly. It almost tastes as though I'm inhaling pure cane sugar syrup. NA food. Drinks only this time!

Pretty average experience. Firstly the QR codes on the table which are meant to enable ordering on your phone were not working. Then there were not enough napkins for how many people we booked. Service was friendly without standing out. The worst part was that one of the meals we ordered came out so late that other people at the table were finished. Apology was lacking. The food was generic.

The seared salmon was a wonderful surprise … moist and perfectly cooked. Kitchen staff easily catered to my ‘no dairy’ request with ease and the staff were attentive. It was an enjoyable meal.

Busy Saturday atmosphere, not a bad place to eat if you are looking for pub style cuisine, prices are what you would come to expect from this type of venue with a reasonable selection of food to choose from. Lunch was very busy and noisy, but to be expected. Three entrees for around $30 was a pretty good sell. A huge bowl of sweet potato fries with dipping sauce, BBQ wings and lime calamari which were all pretty filling. Overall pretty good value. Would I return for a meal, not too sure.

Great range of beers, friendly staff. Would highly recommend some of their customised drinks. Thoughly enjoyed their Chocolate Rum and Milk, Best served shaken not stirred. 10/10 would recommend!

I came here mainly because of the tap beers, which they change regularly, but boy oh boy, the food is great! At first I thought it was a bit expensive just for pasta, but the carbonara pasta is so delicious, well worth the price. I also tried the Wagyu beef burger and garlic prawn pasta and they are also really good.

Drinks were delicious, best espresso martini’s! The barramundi was a bit expensive for what I got though, $27 for a tiny piece of fish, average chips and salad 😬 Also they closed at 9:30 when it says they’re open til 12am....

This was a really nice restaurant for a large group dinner. The food came out quickly, I had the salmon and it was very yummy. The noise level was a little loud for conversations but still a good atmosphere. Located in the little restaurant precinct of Chermside which I would love to check out again!

The Good: Staff were lovely, drinks were great (had ginger beer and lemon lime bitters), side salads were solid The bad: The bruschetta was awful, bread untoasted, over cooked mushrooms and just weird combos. The sirloin steaks were also awful, terribly butchered with sinew running through it and a really bad texture. The sauces were unbearably salty. Unfortunately I will not be dining here again. May come back for the drinks as they have a decent selection on tap

My wife and i were finally able to get out of the house for a date night, and were double booked and shafted elsewhere so we walked in here, no issues service was amazing my only drama might have been the table sizes for two people we had three plates and we had to use the garden edge to sit things on, and ad personal thing about the food i had the sirloin which was served on a bed of shoestring chips which were way over cooked, i personally prefer larger cut chips with my steaks so again its a personal thing, we got a small sharing starter of pork bites which were tasty but a touch too dry - other than those tiny things this place was great and i would come back again of course.
