Plenty of space in this car park and can pay via contactless card which is helpful. Parking is free for Hillingdon Residents (First Card Holder) otherwise £3.50 for the day (£5.00 May to August). However as I discovered on my walk, if you want to park for free, use the Ruislip Woods car park just 10/15 walk from here.

I recently visited Ruislip Lido and had a terrible experience with the parking situation. The car park is divided into two areas, and despite checking thoroughly, I accidentally parked in the restaurant car park which is only free for customers. Upon returning to my car, I was shocked to find a Parking Charge Notice from Euro Car Park demanding an exorbitant £85 fine. The signage in the car park is completely inadequate and makes it difficult to determine which area is designated for public use. It's no wonder that there are numerous complaints online from others who have been similarly caught out. Furthermore, the layout of the car park is confusing and unhelpful, with the restaurant car park located far away from the actual restaurant and the council car park. This experience has ruined my visit to Ruislip Lido, and I will not be returning until significant improvements are made to the parking situation. The predatory parking practices of Euro Car Park are unacceptable, and the council must take immediate action to rectify the situation. The current design is not fit for purpose and is causing unnecessary frustration and expense for drivers. I strongly advise other visitors to the area to be cautious when parking in this car park, as it is clear that Euro Car Park is more interested in collecting fines than providing a fair and reasonable parking experience.

Make sure you park in the correct area or else you will get a fine through the post as one area is specific for PUB USERS! Sadly it is not even clear on the signage. I’m so put off visiting here. I even paid £5 parking fee only to have a letter come home of a fine 💀. A quick money making scheme for the pub. Seriously don’t understand why it has to be something separate!!!

This place is a scam. Parked here to take children to the lido, used the ticket machine in the car park and paid £8 only to get a fine from euro car parks demanding payment for none payment of parking. Apparently the ticket machine I used was for the council car park not water edge car park. Confusing parking situation only to make money off people who most are already struggling to make ends meet but these scammers do not care. I even used the restaurant to purchase food at the time.

£8 to park for UPTO 3 hours, no option to pay for less time. Rubbish all over the car park. Bin over flowing. An absolute disgrace to charge that amount! I will not be going again, which is a shame, but I cannot justify paying almost £10 to walk around for 40 mins tops. And I know people will park anywhere else they can, to avoid paying so i will avoid like the plague in summer! I'd have left 0 stars if possible.

Beware of these money-making scammers! Paid £5 for car parking and I had to shell out £60 for what they claimed was unauthorized parking. It's a bit confusing knowing where to park, but I double-checked, and I accidentally parked in an area they reserve for pub customers. Just a heads up, be cautious when you're parking!

Three areas available: First area is responsibility of adjacent eatery - buy food/ drink, register reg number at bar for 2 hours free parking. Second area Free to Hillingdon residents using residents' card and pay as you go for others - expensive. Third separate area only for residents as above. Generally insufficient parking for busy times has forced introduction of permit only areas in adjacent roads with heavy penalties for misuse. Long standing issue, which local council is unable to sort. I am a local resident.

Opportunistic money making racket with parking fines from the pub through Euro Car Parks!! The car park is split, but it’s far from clear. Like another reviewer, I paid £5 to park for less than an hour, but apparently in the pubs section. They must make a packet off it. I definitely won’t park there again, nor use the pub! Disgraceful!!

I paid £5 for parking only to get a £60 pound fine in the post a week later. I’ve no idea why, but based on the reviews I’ve seen, it seems they’ve made it impossibly difficult to figure out where you can and can’t park.

Just made a payment for the charge! Euro car parks, this is not the right way to make money! You need better sign to mark you car park, and help visitors to solve the issues not by doing this!

Euro Car Parks parking charge £85. But I paid for parking. This shouldn't be allowed to split the carpark in to two if that is the case. There is only one machine to pay for parking which I used. Scammers, I'm not paying this, going to return and take video of the car park. They can chase me through the post, we'll see if they take me to court, just going to show this whole section of reviews as proof of how badly its signposted

Make sure you park in the right place. When we visited there were security guards directing people into the correct car park. If you park in the wrong place you can get a ticket. Parking was packed when we arrived. Luckily a car left. The guards had to close the entrance as it was full. On a normal day it’s way to get into the wrong car park. Can park on the road but need to careful of peoples driveways and lines on the road as I saw a few people getting tickets.

Be careful parking, suppose to close at 8pm but the gates were locked at 6pm we had to call Hillingdon council for some one to let us out

Split into two, received a parking fine after paying for a ticket because I was in the wrong section. AVOID

In February I attented a WOLAS (West of London Astronomical Society) event at the Lido in the evenin at around 7pm- a childrens star gazing event. I'm am not a local so when a WOLAS member in a hi-vis waist coat directed me to the car park I followed the instructions. At the entrance, there are two signs one suggesting parking to the right "Hillingdon council pay and display" the other to the left is "waters edge carpark guests only". As I am not a Hillingdon resident I considered myself as a guest and parked to the left and walked off to star gaze. Annoyingly I have now received a letter fining me £50 for parking in the Waters Edge side of the car park. After doing some research, it appears that side is for the pub, "waters edge" customers only. This is not evident from the signage especially when trying to figure this out at 7pm on a dark February night. I simply thought the "waters edge" was the name of the car park as many car parks have names like the one to the right called Willow lawn. Waters Edge should make this more obvious and when there is a private event on, that attracts people from a wide area they should ensure that innocent mistakes are not punished with a ridiculously high fine. The WOLAS star gazing event was on for three nights at the Lido. I'm sure the Waters Edge and Euro Car Parks made a huge amount of money from families who used the "wrong" car park and did not research the psrking conditions in the pitch black.

Heading there on a hot day was a mistake. Parking was stressful and their traffic marshalls are so rude and unprofessional. Keep driving few mins there s a free car park called Ruislip woods. 15 mins walk but worth it. Rather then deal with those s.. ty marshalls

I find it easy to park in but was just to expensive 8 pounds for 3 hours or 15 pounds for the day I know parking is expensive every where nowadays but theys no need to be charging people that much to park

Disgusting money making car park without any clear sign! Parked for 20 mins got a fine of £50! Total scam! Void at any cost!

The only confusion you will face there is that there are two different parking spaces at the same location. One is reserved for Bar 🍸 and the other is public car parking. So please make sure about it before parking. And for entry to the beach, there are two options. Either take the train ride directly from car parking or you can walk to get on the the beach.

Considering that the Lido and beach were free, the parking at £8 or 3 hours wasn't too bad. We had to wait a while, though, as it was very busy.

Be careful. I had pushed the max button and gave me 3 hours ticket for £8. I had to buy a new ticket for £15 by pushing the + after choosing the max....
