We went to the 80s themed brunch. Pizza and 5 drinks for £25. The pizza was disgusting. Cold and raw on the bottom, it was the same situation for everyone. Drinks took 30 to 60 mins to come out after ordering!! It was ridiculous. The security guards were incredibly miserable as well. The DJ was good though, we all thoroughly enjoyed the music, only saving grace! Certainly would never go back. As you can see from the owners response, it's a very poorly managed establishment! Apparently I shouted at staff? You have just pointed out you don't know my name, but you're accusing me of shouting at people? If you don't know who I am how can you say that? I didn't shout at anyone, I didn't even complain about how long it was taking. We devised a tactic of ordering the next round each time we recieved a round to cut down the wait time between drinks. The staff were all very nice, it's not them thats the problem, it's the way it's run. Despite the very slow service and disgusting food I still had a great time with my friends and family and danced and laughed the afternoon away. I made the best of a very bad situation! It's quite clear from the number of terrible reviews for this bar that I'm not "poisonous" (unlike the raw pizza dough =D) just someone who reviews every place they go with honesty, it's just a shame some people can't handle that. Anyone reading this review feel free to go through my previous reviews for other places and see that I can write very positive reviews if somewhere does decent food and has good service! And to the manager of zoo - I feel so sorry for you, you must have some serious issues to act this way towards customers.

Do NOT go here, they discriminate against young lads all together, we did nothing wrong but were refused entry just because of our group. We watched several groups of mixed groups then walk in after, we asked for a reason for why we were refused but we were told to f*** off. Do not go here.

Went there for a mamma Mia brunch on the weekend. We waited about 2 hours for the pizzas after being told they were going to be 15 minutes. We also waited about an hour and a half for our first drinks to come. We told multiple people about our drinks but the man behind the bar wasn’t interested. He was rude to all the waitresses and the customers. The dj didn’t know a lot of the songs but would try and sing over them. The music played was really good but not a lot of mamma Mia 2 songs played.

Name appropriate what a dump! Terrible hygiene standards, the bar staff were friendly at least.. But other than that I don't have anything positive to say, I don't think it's just me feels that way judging from your reviews. Won't be back I eagerly await the man in denial who owns the zoo, smashed glass everywhere.. and a friend got drink thrown in her eyes and the bouncer did nothing.

Zoo is an appropriate name.The calibre of humans in the place is disgraceful - no manners and no class. That said, the music is great but this place needs revamping. Toilet is nasty, service is poor. For such a place in maidstone with great DJ it could be better.

Absolute dive. Has so much potential but is run so badly. Never waited so long for drinks anywhere. Bouncers are rude and miserable. Only had 1 drink which took forever to arrive then we gave up and went elsewhere. Never left a review for anywhere before, but this place was so rubbish I feel it's my duty!

What the hell was that. My first time ever clubbing I will never do it again after this experience. Drinks thrown everywhere glass smashed all over the floor no one to attempt cleaning. Music was that loud couldn't order drinks ended up drinking anything they gave us and charged way over the top. Smoke machine blowing in our faces rather than on the floor or near the lack of lasers. Harassment in the toilet to buy lollypops and sprays extremely unhygienic. Bouncers saw a man start fighting and watched it for a while until a friend got alcohol sprayed in her eyes then left the costumer in. I eagerly await for the owners bitter response to constructive criticism this shall be funny

Went yesterday for mamma Mia brunch and what fantastic quality for the price you pay. Had the absolute BEST afternoon. Felt super safe, staff all friendly and our whole group had such a fun day! Would deffo recommend and be back again.

Love the atmosphere! The staff here are great. They make you feel safe.

Very clean, lots of places to sit on both levels upstairs also have seating and the even have a meeting room that you can higher for meetings, quite spacious. Ask at downstairs counter for more information about the meeting room and for the cost to hire it.

Not bad, great ambience and nice Naija music for Africans

Absolutely disgusting place 🤮 my first clubbing experience and there was a male bouncer with a Hi Visor on and was screaming at a poor girl that had obviously drunk way to much, the force he used was not necessary as no one was being violent to him the girls friends were trying to explain why she couldn’t get up and all he did was scream in their faces telling them to get out it got so bad I got in between as I thought the bouncer was going to get violent he then managed to call an ambulance after 20 minutes of asking. Absolutely disgusting behaviour should be fired.

Went for the mama Mia evening took a friend we had a great night was good fun. Pizza was just ok. Soaked up the drink ya get me 😂
