With the youthful energy of even the eldest of people that turn up to The Basement Door’s gigs, we’ve always enjoyed playing there as a band. Playing there helped us capture a large devoted audience, one that is very interactive. Kevin has always been great to us, very kind and loving attitude towards everything which involves his work at The Basement Door. It’s always great to see him, whether we’re coming to play a show, or just to bump into him in public. He really encouraged in a lot of young people and created a small community with the help of bands who might have been up to no good otherwise.

Incredible place: offers great opportunities for young musicians as well as a strong community for everyone. Kev is such a great person and does so much for all of us- so happy to be a part of TBD! Also the venues are super!

Really nice experience. This place brings all the youth together. Giving young people the opportunity to play in front of a crowd. I have spent many happy nights here.

Nice evening venue with live music.

Small, intimate venue for young musical artists and technicians to perform and learn their craft. Great acoustics and ambience, artists well supported and encouraged. Fantastic job!
