Simmons Bar is a great bar. I am especially fond of their cocktail menu which is apparently the best in Soho. The cocktails were delicious, they were well put together and they were elegantly served. I loved the ambiance too, it was an excellent place to chill out with friends.

Bad service and a few points to highlight that were really disappointing: 1. No classic cocktail: how come a bar has no ability to do basic classic cocktails, like Marguerita ? 2. Wrong order: we repeated 3 times to make sure everything was ordered, while they still made mistakes. 3. Bad customer service: yes. One girl bartender kept a poker face, and blamed customers when she missed cocktails. This is not what a service should be.

It’s a nice place in a town most popular to drink at London, the place is very alternative and has a good drinks menu! It’s good for a happy hour with friends, I’ve got delicious drinks, various options and offer drinks.

Great experience, staff so entertaining when making cocktails and prices very cheaply during happy hour. Places to sit inside or dance if you wanted. Can also stand outside as there is a hatch to the bar.

Lovely cocktails in Soho and the 2 for 1 offer is great. Bar staff were friendly and service was quick. Finally - the best glitter of all time?!

We came with a group of 6 on a Tuesday evening around 11pm. The bar was largely empty, but nicely lit. The bar staff were efficient rather than friendly. Drinks were reasonably priced for this part of London at around £10 per person ( a mix of beers and cocktails).

Usually, I love Simmons in London, but this was by far a different story. I rang up a few weeks back to make a booking for last night for my birthday celebrations. Because I had never been to this Simmons before, I asked if it was the same format as others I had been to in that there is a dance floor with a DJ etc near the drinks area we booked. The person on the phone told me it was. Upon arrival, this definitely wasn't the case. You are placed in a separate closed off section from the rest of the bar where the action is taken place, and you are prohibited from going in if they have reached capacity. If you have booked to attend a bar and told specifically you could access all areas of it, you would expect that to be the case. You are somewhat made to feel forgotten about because the people working come in to take drinks orders very rarely. Additionally, we booked for 12 people but were places in a very small booth. The staff working were also incredibly rude to our group when asking clarification on our booking. I understand that on busy nights, it can be somewhat frustrating, but I would not expect to be spoken to like the staff did to us. Would not recommend having your birthday here. Avoid Simmons Soho.

I’d say the service was comically slow, if it didn’t severely affect the enjoyment of your night. Weirdly - it seems to be intentional! The chap serving the people before me took 30 minutes to prepare one round of drinks, then offered them free shots if they wrote him a good review. Seems to be encouraged here, hence all the decent write ups with name checked bar staff. Think his name was Trevor? Never had slower service in my life. I’d booked a table and had all guests admitted without question, until the last two who were told they had to join the long queue. One of my party alerted the door staff that they were with us but was told they weren’t permitted to jump the queue, as all other guests in booked parties had been. I spoke to the security explaining it was my booking, and he said “the two gentlemen” and my friend had previously been out to “shout at” him. Not a single voice was raised, we were amicably trying trying to ascertain what was happening in the hope our friends could join us. We left pretty quickly after that. It’s just weird because we could have put a lot more money behind the bar if it weren’t for this culture of apathetic bar staff and exclusive security.

Awesome pub cum bar to visit during happy hours. The prices during happy hours is competitive and compared to central London prices is very cheap. A shot of tequila in £3 and cocktails in £5! The happy hours is till 7pm on weekdays. The place can get very crowded during this time, but you can always take your drink out and enjoy. Recommend the place.

I visited with a group of friends for happy hour. Knowing how expensive London is the cocktails were good value, especially during happy hour. That being said the cocktails are all quite sweet, even the margarita, I did try all the cocktails on their happy hour menu. I prefer to taste the alcohol in my drinks rather than just sweetness. That being said everyone has different tastes. It is quirky venue, but toilets not the cleanest. I won't be rushing back.

What a find! Lovely little bar. Staff were so friendly. Reasonably priced drinks and a spinning Darth Vader Glitterball. What more do you need for a night out?

It's a decent little gem with very reasonable prices for Soho - especially Happy Hour. I went when it was rather quiet and it didn't appear open but it was. The bar server was friendly but the manager wasn't the warmest of people

Extremely reasonable prices during happy hour. £5 per cocktail is absolutely fantastic, we had the teapot which had 5 cocktails worth and it was well worth the price. Then we had the strawberry daiquiris and they were also great. I'll happily go to Simmons again next time I'm in town

Not enough staff present on a weekend evening. The staff member serving us was overwhelmed and kept apologising as it was super busy and our drinks arrived after 30 mins. Happy hour drinks/cocktails barely have much alcohol in them, can only taste soft drink/juice/water. The bar can get very loud and you can barely hear people on your table. The only redeeming thing is the interior and songs played. Please hire more staff on weekends and hope you take this as a point to improve your drink making process too.

Went here as a spontaneous visit and it was a great night, The staff are lovely, especially Teejay, Ashley and Becca. The place was buzzing with a very good party atmosphere. The staff were brilliant behind the bar both with the drinks and their vibe and energy with customers. Definitely making this a frequent night out.

Small branch. Was standing as there was no seats. Went for happy hour thinking there would be more options but wasnt much choices but the drinks was ok. Played some old school songs like britney spears and justin timberlake - thought it would be a mixed of old and new would be nice. Service was amazing! Bartenders were very nice and professional

The seated area was quite good but our table was so wet and dirty. Drinks order arrived within reasonable time and the staff were friendly. Drinks were reasonably priced and the music was really good.

Went in there today with my mate. First time, and it did not disappoint. This bar is so good that word about it goes as far as Peterborough. Bloody good drinks, lovely staff and atmosphere. Was skeptical on a night out in London before but my trip today has reassured me that I will be visiting again, very soon 👀👀 Also lovely staff. Big shout-out to Trevor and the woman he was with.

Friendly staff, good service and short waiting times at the bar. None of these things were experienced on a recent night out at Simmons. A 40 minute wait to get a drink; on a Tuesday. When asked about a staff member who was dancing instead of serving behind the bar we were told “she’s training someone”. The 2 staff in question then had a whispered meaningful conversation with each other then proceeded to glare at us for the rest of the substantial time spent waiting at the bar. I believe the tab ran into £hundreds as it was quite a large scale work event. Next time it’ll be spent elsewhere

Cheap happy hour but be prepared to wait a while! Went on a Saturday evening for a friends birthday, had a table reserved but might as well not have as it was so busy! So jam packed, the queue took up half the place (which is not big) bar staff seemed inexperienced, DJ kept playing the same songs too. Did have a good time but not sure why they let so many people in.

Such a cute place!! They have amazing hh deals, a teapot of LIIT for 15pounds? Yes please. The hh also runs from 3-8pm, giving you plenty of time to enjoy all the fun drinks they have. Fun music and vibes, with cute neon decor. Definitely recommend if you're in the area! And lots of great food options nearby as well.

We were a family (2 oldies and 3 grown up lads) who popped in for a few beers during the Friday night happy hour. All the staff were incredibly friendly, we didn’t feel out of place at all and drinks were incredible value for Soho. We’ll be back, though expect it will be the boys before us!

Me and my friend came here for a couple drinks during the happy hour on Friday. The vibe of the place was great, which was matched by all the staff. One staff member in particular, Amelie, looked after us for the whole hour. She was so lovely and made sure we had everything we needed, it made the experience that much better. Would definitely recommend trying the happy hour on offer here, great value for money.

We came with 11 of us on the weekend I booked a table for an hour so we could get a few rounds of drinks before we went elsewhere. They were great at sorting out our table and the drinks were nice when we got them. It was extremely crowded (over crowded for sure) and it took us so long to get our drinks at the bar that we only managed to get one round in. We would have spent a lot more money had we been able to actually get more drinks so I think they are missing a trick. The other people there were a bit rough too especially the men they were just shoving us out the way a lot so we really had to stand our ground. I suspect this is partially because they were all trying to get to the front of the bar which was by our table. It was fine for a quick drink but I wouldn't choose it on a Saturday night again. A less busy night I'm sure it would be great as the staff were lovely and it's in a good location.

Buzzy atmosphere, london prices, good happy hour that lasts a while 3-8! Not the biggest of venues, bit cramped when busy but still a nice place for a couple drinks. Definitely worth booking.

The best chain for student drinking in london, great prices at happy hour and creative drinks that taste good. Kiara was a great server, super friendly and quick

Great vibes from the bar staff, really adds to the atmosphere in the room. Although not the biggest of spaces and can get quite busy it is a must when visiting Soho. Great cocktails!
