#30 World’s best bar (2022), #76 (2023) (Look up World’s 50 Best Bars Ranking) Very different vibes on the two floors of the bar. Downstairs more a low key whiskey bar. Upstairs more a walk-in casual bar. I was upstairs - and I had better. But the drinks topped everything! The world famous Irish Coffee is as delicious as you imagine - must try! Also the Prosecco sorbet cocktail (forgot the name) was delicious!

Swift Cocktail Bar, Soho: 'A Symphony of Spirits' – Cocktail Review Swift, Address, Soho, London. Cocktails £10-£16, small plates £6-£12 Let's get this out of the way: the cocktails at Swift are nothing short of remarkable, so much so that they outshine the already stellar vibe of this Soho joint. At first glance, you might peg Swift as just another trendy pop cocktail bar, vying for your attention in London's vibrant nightlife. But trust me, it's so much more than that. Atmosphere You walk into Swift and are greeted by an atmosphere that feels like a sip of a well-made Old Fashioned—cool, comfortable, and surprisingly complex. The lighting sets the mood, and the design elements seem perfectly balanced. Downstairs, the acoustics are impeccable, making the already subtle music resonate at just the right frequency. You'd expect nothing less from a place that takes its cocktails this seriously. The Cocktails Ah, the pièce de résistance! Each cocktail here is a symphony of spirits and mixers, meticulously crafted and presented with flair. The menu provides a generous range of options, each promising a unique flavor experience. I'd say, wait a little if you have to, but don't leave without sampling their artistry in a glass. The People The patrons were a breath of fresh air—laid-back, cool, and surprisingly, not mainly Londoners. Maybe it's the magnetic pull of Swift's cocktail craftsmanship, or perhaps it's the word-of-mouth that has transcended borders. But whatever the reason, it adds to the eclectic, relaxed vibe of the place. Price The prices are what you'd expect for top-notch cocktails in the heart of Soho. Considering the quality, they're well justified. You're not just paying for a drink; you're paying for a carefully curated experience that dances on your palate and lingers in your memory. In conclusion, Swift in Soho is where you go to lose yourself in the world of cocktails, surrounded by an atmosphere and clientele as appealing as the drinks themselves. It's a 'come as you are' sort of place, and you'll leave thrilled that you did. Cheers!

Do you want to drink fantastic cocktails, at great prices, with wonderful service in a beautiful, elegant and intimate setting? Look no further - Swift Soho is a gem! We had a perfect night here - all of the drinks were divine, and Holly our bartender was lovely, making our evening what it was. The Irish Coffee was a personal highlight: thick, rich, creamy - one of the best coffee based cocktails I’ve ever had. Please come to this fabulous cocktail bar if you’re in the area - you won’t regret it!

Very well located in the heart of Soho, Swift is one of my favorite cocktail bar in London. The menu downstairs is really creative and all their cocktails were tasty and delicious. They also serve the best Irish coffee in town so you shouldn't miss that one if that's your type of drink! The staff is also very friendly and the atmosphere is lively with a speakeasy vibe downstairs.

Top drinks, super smooth and well balanced, complete with a beautiful menu with detailed descriptions and illustrations of each drink. Staff were so attentive, knowledgeable, personal and fun. Amazing atmosphere, the downstairs area has a more speakeasy vibe. May be one of the best cocktail bars in central London. Highly recommend: casablanca, negroni, irish coffee, extensive whisky selection Great for: dates, small groups

This Soho bar has been ranked on top 50 bars around the world. Very famous for their Irish coffee but they also offer a lot of other great cocktails. A must stop if you are in the SoHo area.

Cool spot for cocktails — Tailfeather was sublime. Buzzy atmosphere upstairs and a little calmer, more refined downstairs. Would come back again to check out the live music. A definite recommend for a pre-dinner or pre-theatre drink.

Such a cool place in Soho! Found the place on a few "famous bar" lists and so wanted to try it out on our trip to London. We were able to get reservations to the downstairs of the bar (I think upstairs is walk-in only?). This review is for the downstairs section. There is definitely a speakeasy vibe to this place - dark with "candles" and some mood lighting. There were tables of 2 all the way through 8. There were tables as well as bar seating. The downstairs has its own menu - the menu is so detailed and wonderful to read on its own. It really shows how much effort went into the creation of each cocktail. You are also able to order cocktails from their regular upstairs menu. But if you're downstairs, why not try some of their creations? The drinks are in the 11-15 pound range on this menu which seems about right for the area and vibe. There is something for everyone. Our server was also so great and recommended drinks based on our preferences. It goes without saying that the drinks were all incredibly delicious. Would definitely recommend for a cute date or a fun celebration!

Fabulous time at Swift bar. I enjoyed the Sgroppino cocktail (£8) which was Prosecco and a bit of elderflower liqueur, and a scoop of lemon sorbet. Brilliant. My friends all loved their cocktails too - and we came during happy hour (on a Friday) where the aperitivo cocktails are (I think) £7. Staff were brilliant, very professional and efficient. We were promptly seated, and set up with glasses of water and menus. I asked our server many questions about the cocktails and she was extremely knowledgable about the ingredients and dominant flavours (whether you could taste the elderflower in the Sgroppino, what the Solstice tasted like, if the Pearl was heavy on the almond, etc). She was great, very patient and gave very clear answers to help me make the best order of drink. The cocktails all look fantastic and the bar is very beautiful too.

Great cocktails. We had the White Russian and a few other drinks too. All of which tasted great! Takes a while to find good seats.

Amazing drinks. I particularly loved their Irish Coffees and Apertivo cocktail menu. Great hospitality from their bartenders and staff. Very comfortable and relaxing venue. Diverse cocktail menu and experience would rank this establishment high on the London cocktail scene for me. Great location.

Honestly, I was highly disappointed by my experience here. The cocktails were incredibly weak, probably the weakest cocktails I've ever had. (In all fairness, they were tasty.) After 3 cocktails in the space of an hour and a half, I was barely buzzed. For context I get buzzed off a single pint of beer and drunk off two pints. So to feel basically nothing after 3 cocktails was disappointing, given this was supposed to be the start to a night out. The decor was nice enough but nothing special. And, despite having reservations, initially we were sat in a horrible seat with inadequate space, right in front of a staircase with unpleasant fluorescent lighting which ruined the ambiance. We requested to move to the bar and were accommodated once seats opened up. All in all, a subpar experience, and considering the price, certainly not worth it. Paying >10 points for a cocktail with alcohol in it is fine, but paying that much for what essentially amounts to fancy juice? Insane. I recommend choosing a different place, unless you have infinite money to waste on tasty juice.

I miss LAB. Good to see cocktails being served once again at this address. It lacks the panache of LAB and the clientele are a bit ‘Croydon’. Wipe clean cocktail menu feels a bit naff, and the selection was thin and a tad underwhelming, but their heart is in the right place so 5 stars.

Amazing cocktails, fantastic staff! We got there as it opened and sat at a table in the upstairs bar. Staff kept checking in with us, topping up our water and taking new orders, it was great! It gets full very quickly, and the downstairs bar opens later (I think at 5) where you can book a table. I think this would be well worth doing judging by how popular it is!

Absolutely loved Swift and the idea behind their cocktail menu! I feel like it’s the type of spot where you just can’t go wrong - quality is always at the forefront for them. A great cute and cozy downstairs speakeasy vibe.

Well, I haven't been here in so long, last time I was here it was called the LAB. And back then it was one of the best cocktail bars in London imo. I am happy to say, Swift is very much as good as it's predecessor. The cocktails were of very good strength and flavour. For me the 'Old Compton' was the best of the trio I tried but the other two were very very close behind. The 'Humbug' tasted just like those humbug sweets. The 'Imperial Gimlet' was also good, tasted like a Thai Green Curry minus the chilli heat and fishiness, very aromatic. Highly recommend heading down there. Although not too cheap but worth the £££'s.

One of the best cocktail bars in Soho. Know that there's two different vibes upstairs and downstairs. Personally, I really prefer downstairs and they both have different sets of cocktails from what I can tell

This is by far the best cocktail bar I have ever been to. The amount of creative cocktails on this menu was outrageous. Everything was so well balanced and delicious. I went with a group of friends, so I was able to try many of the drinks and there was not one that I didn't enjoy. The music was perfectly chill but upbeat enough to be entertaining.

The Downstairs at Swift Soho is one of the top bars in London, and beyond. The cocktails and whiskies are top-notch, and so are the bartenders. I’ve been here with a bigger group at a table and with one other person at the bar, and I’ve left happy both ways. The bartenders know their stuff, and the cocktails are well designed. They taste great, they are interesting, and everything we drank was made well. We’ve had drinks that were boozy and bitter, light and refreshing, full and sweet, and spots in between. They were never too sour or too sweet, or too funky or too strong. Several of them even went beyond being good to being inspiring—I have new ideas for how to use the aquavit that I rarely open, and my partner decided he might not hate peaches after all. Their whisky collection also stands out. They have bottles that are familiar and bottles that most of us have never seen. Before founding Swift, the owners worked at some of the top bars in the US and England. They made this into one of the world’s best, and the bartenders I’ve seen are keeping it there.

A gem in the heart of Soho, there is no doubt that this bar has deserved its spot on the 50 best bars in the world multiple times. The exquisite drinks, service, atmosphere, and live music guarantee you an experience that you can’t get enough of. Would definitely recommend it to anyone! PS: Mind that it is a little bit tight if you are a group bigger than 4!

It’s the way you want a cocktail bar to be. Fantastic atmosphere, good music & fantastic drinks. What brings my grade down a bit is how crammed it is. For that very reason, were seated by a table without lights and had to use our phones to read the menu. We are happy we managed to get a table at all but that could easily be sorted out. Other than that, they do hold a high quality on everything so I do recommend a visit.

very great bar with a lot of atmosphere I discovered the bar with my best friend when we were on vacation in London. The waiters are very attentive and always give you more water or give you advice about the best cocktails. The alcoholic drinks are strong but you want to get something for your money. We thought the cocktails were super great, whether with or without alcohol. That's why we came back the next day. The bouncer is also very friendly and funny. Great team! we'd love to come back

What an amazing bar!! We didn’t have reservations to their more intimate downstairs seating area but we had a ton of fun. The staff genuinely looked like they liked each other and liked working there. Everyone was super friendly and the drinks were spectacular. Get some bar snacks and have fun people watching! Currently this bar is #30 on the world 50 best list. Located in Soho area with plenty of other shops and stops nearby.

Literally THE BEST Irish Coffee and the fact they did mine as vegan (due to allergy) says it all. Would highly recommend to anybody to stop by for this amazing cocktail. The menu is great and the service was super friendly and highly knowledgeable really all the best to the bar staff! Would come again

Currently(autumn 2022) rated 30. best cocktail bar in the world. It's very decent, all the cocktails tasted good, but I can't see, why it should be so high up the list... Very nice visit, though🍸🍹🥂

Excellent craft cocktail bar with an extensive stock including 400 whiskeys. The wait staff serve behind the bar too do they're very knowledgeable. They have four kinds of bar snacks. The crackers are the best one. They have two bars. The downstairs one has a darker, cooler vibe. We like that one better but it doesn't open until 5pm. Upstairs opens at 3pm. Check out my profile for more great eateries and cocktail bars.

Very popular and crowded bar, even on Thursdays. You need a reservation in advance, along with a spending commitment. I feel this is an overkill but they are free to dictate their rules of course. The staff was nice, the cocktails were among the best I have tried in London overall, although I cannot say I liked each individual one. Eden cocktail was a blast, while Horse Tail was something I would not want to repeat soon

A fun bar with a great range of drinks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic at a relatively cheaper price compared with other similar establishments. Unsurprisingly, the place can get very busy but staff are attentive and friendly.

Nice small bar, really good service and prices are good for what you get. The space downstairs is nice and small but unique at the same time. I'd recommend try booking a table downstairs as it's comfy and good for a date or catching up with friends. Nice vibes. Toilets are quite small but the over all experience was good. Just look for the sign with the little bird🐦

Great cocktails, the seating could be a little bit more comfy. We tried one rhubarb cocktail and a sherry aperitif, both delicious.

Best cocktail bar in Soho! Not only unique cocktails, but amazing staff as well. It's a bit small but I'd recommend it for sure.
