Purchased
a
Vauxhall
Mokka
from
Robins
&
Day
last
year,
went
up
to
Peterborough
for
a
few
day's
early
July
this
year
(2022),
returning
home
there
was
a
terrible
noise
coming
from
the
rear
of
the
car
fortunately
this
happened
before
we
got
on
the
M1
called
the
AA
out,
the
AA
engineer
could
not
believe
what
he
found
both
top
bolts
from
the
rear
calipers
were
missing,
both
calipers
had
come
away
from
the
rear
disc's,
he
asked
if
the
rear
disc
pads
had
been
change
recently
I
explained
that
Robins
&
Day
had
replaced
the
Disc
pads
along
with
a
service
when
I
purchase
the
car,
I
had
done
less
than
2700
miles
since
purchasing
the
car.
it
appears
the
bolt's
had
not
been
tightened
properly.
he
secured
the
calipers,
and
we
were
able
to
return
home.
I
would
not
like
to
think
what
would
have
happened
if
we
had
been
on
the
M1
and
had
to
brake
with
no
rear
brakes.
Went
to
Robins
&
Day
explained
what
had
happened
and
that
the
bolts
need
to
be
High
Tensile
Steel
Bolts
they
agreed
to
replace
them
free
of
charge,
a
female
receptionist
booked
the
car
in
to
have
the
work
carried
out
at
a
later
date,
on
arriving
on
the
agreed
date,
I
was
asked
why
I
had
brought
my
car
in,
as
there
was
nothing
on
the
job
sheet,
I
explaining
again
what
had
to
be
done.
Later
I
received
a
video
explaining
they
had
done
a
complimentary
health
check
and
replaced
the
caliper
bolts,
they
also
advised
my
front
tyres
needed
replacing
and
that
the
front
flexible
exhaust
pipe
had
come
adrift
(true),
they
advised
that
the
tyres/front
exhaust
pipe/
catalytic
converter
needed
replacing
over
a
£1000
of
work,
the
tyres
are
ok
it
has
just
passed
its
MOT,
and
there
is
nothing
wrong
with
the
catalytic
converter,
I
have
had
it
checked,
I
was
promised
I
would
receive
a
call
waited
2
hours
"No
Call"
I
called
service,
again
promised
a
call,
I
hour
later
still
No
Call,
decided
to
go
to
Robins
&
Day
spoke
to
the
female
receptionist,
said
I
have
come
to
pick
my
car
up,
she
said
she
has
not
got
the
car
keys
she
will
go
and
get
them,
and
storm
off
"obviously
not
very
happy",
came
back
a
few
minutes
later
dropped
the
keys
on
the
desk
never
spoke
No
thankyou
nothing,
I
I
asked
for
a
copy
of
the
job
sheet,
she
got
up
threw
her
pen
across
her
desk
when
to
a
tray,
came
back
said
I
have
not
got
one
and
just
sat
down
and
ignored
me.
again
I
asked
for
a
copy
told
one
would
be
emailed
to
me
"still
have
not
received
it.

treat
a
customer
who
was
not
rude
and
very
polite.
