I came here to celebrate a friends birthday and we was left with the most horrifying experience. Two bouncers told us we’d be allowed in if “managers” groped us, and then laughed when they said they weren’t managers but members of the public. Authorities were called, and I have included photographs of all staff involved. I am deeply upset as this isn’t my first time at the club and it was a humiliating experience that must be dealt with. Attached is the security that encouraged sexual harassment. And the other is the manager who wasn’t there yet defended the security and gave false reports to the police.

Very good welcoming. The DJ was good with the 80's-90's songs, drinks are chep and you can even buy some accessories like hats... I had a great moment with my friends.

Absolutely dreadful. The security and manager was very rude. I have a real provisional ID but they didn’t accept it because I just turned 18. I don’t recommend this to anyone. Ruined the night. DO NOT ATTEND!!! I imagine these 5 star reviews are from people over the age of 60.

What an amazing experience i had here! Me and my friends thought we'd pop out for a cheeky one and wow the atmosphere was amazing! The drinks were amazing and we had the best customer journey thanks to Dan he helped direct us to the toilets, helped with what to drink and was overall amazing! Thankyou so much cant wait to come back!

Was actually quite surprised how good my night turned out here. I love the fact it’s casual/smart as I do love to wear comfy shoes when out; so when I heard I could wear my converse, I was very happy. Drinks are cheap and the music was great! They’ve got a cloakroom which was only £2 and free entry before 9pm.

Brilliant night out ! Thank you Popworld. Long queue to get in but it moved quickly. Great music and love the new party pants! Door staff and Manager were really welcoming at the front door. DJ took some warming up and it was filled with some very strange characters. Cocktails weren't the best but the novelty large glasses were fun. Bar staff were miserable however the shining star of our experience was Dan! He was so attentive and friendly. Couldn't do enough for us. Give that boy a raise!

Had an amazing night out in this venue and all bartenders were lovely but Anna was incredible, she remembered our drinks order so quickly that we didnt have to repeat our drink order with second time we went up to the bar. She was very smiley and bubbly. Definitely made our night unforgettable. Definitely coming back and hoping to have a good time again. “

Visited pop world recently with some friends, despite not being somewhere I’d usually go, and it was a brilliant night was expecting just a standard night out where the staff just want to do their jobs and leave but was wrong all the staff were extremely friendly and very outgoing unfortunately didn’t manage to get loads of names to give them credit because I was a bit waved 😂 however a young European girl I think her name was Anna was quality she was extremely friendly and outgoing she made sure the group I was with and I had a quality night she really is an asset to your team, will deffo visit again when I’m next in the area

A night like no other. An experience like no other. A moment in time that I wish I could bottle and sell. Also, really fun night out in London with as much cheesey music and booze as you could shake a stick at. Really wonderful service as well as I left my jacket in the cloakroom and they arranged that I could pick it up the next week. Get yourself down to Popworl, and have a boogie.

Terrible experience with Bar staff. Bought an expensive round of drinks and one of the bar ladies start collecting glasses in the club and took all our drinks. When I complain to another bar lady as I literally bought it 5 minutes ago and all the drinks were still full. She said it’s not her problem and won’t replace the drinks or let me buy new drinks as the bar is now closed. We had a work function and spent allot of money in there, not once did anyone apologise for taking our drinks / just rude and ignorant about it. Get new bar staff !!!

Best night at popworld with all the best tunes!! Was too busy having fun that I lost my phone on the night, but the amazing Anna searched the venue high and low for me the next day, so I was able to get it back 🙌🏼 1000/10 for service. Thank you - I’ll be back!!! 🪩🕺🏽

Seen really good reviews on this place but the drinks pricing is utterly bizarre 2 jager bombs for £6 but £18 for a double vodka and coke? Also the coke was quite literally the worst, 0 fizz, DJ wanted to keep remixing everything rather than letting the tunes play, we left after 20 minutes

Went here for the first time yesterday with my best friend n few others staff are absolutely welcomeing and lovely come over to us and had a chat with us was a brilliant night out would recommend this to everyone

Staff friendly. Good drinks. Great music. Nice crowds, did get rowdy but there was respect for each other I felt. Friend got a little drunk on his bday. The security and manager helped him out with dignity, and helped us and friends to get a cab for him to get home

A good value fun night. Quite a small room however. Unfortunately one of the bar staff was rather rude and on their phone a lot of the time. They closed early (3:20AM) even though they advertised that they were open until 4AM. Would definitely not go again for this reason.

Horrible place to go the staff are very rude my friend was waiting for order a drink at the bar but the bartender was ignore her and serve other people ,after a while she came to serve us in such a rude way I was shocked. I understand that sometimes it's a lot of work for few people in the bar , but if you don't know how to deal with public don't do this type of job, find something you will be happy to do it ! we were there to have fun not be mistreated, we left a wonderful place to have fun at popworld and we had horrible night thanks to the bartender, Guys don't be fooled by these good reviews this place is horrible .

Club is great, but unnecessarily difficult to get in. Bouncers will shut doors hours before the closing time posted on the website, unless you pay them of course. Management need to control their bouncers, or put the real opening times on the website - one or the other.

Had a great time on Friday. Good music, well known classic pop songs. Bar staff and bouncers were friendly. Entry was £7.

Not a bad night but it's got to be a one star just due to the experience I had with the staff member in the cloak room. Experiences with people like that can ruin a night so easily.

The atmosphere was electric, with pulsating music and vibrant lights that kept the energy high all night long.The bar staff named Athul were friendly and efficient, ensuring Overall, I highly recommend for anyone looking for a memorable night out never had to wait long for our drinks.

Was turned down at the door as have no photo ID having travelled 40 mins to get there and stood in the queue for over half an hour. There is nothing obvious on the website to state that photo ID is needed and the bouncer wasn't able to justify why we needed ID. As a group of 40 somethings we did not habitually carry ID with us. Very disappointing.

The night was good and fun, however there is no where to find the pictures of the event. I contacted them via Facebook message, Facebook post but never got a reply.

We ended up at Popworld on our work Xmas event. Security staff were nice, music was varied and seemed like different genres were randomly chosen from one song to the next but there were a good number of most popular hits played which helped improve the night. It was a shame the bar staff were rather disappointing and I personally endured a few 10+ min waits and had people who came for drinks after me being served before me. If I had complained they likely would’ve refused to serve me like they did with my colleague. I spoke with numerous partygoers about the same issue throughout the night who all said it was frustrating and brought the enjoyment level down. There was only one working stall in the men’s toilet, two of the 4 sinks had chunky vomit in them from midnight and was never cleaned. I did end up having a good night but it really wasn’t far from being disappointing.

Hi we paid £10 each to come in Saturday night and wasn't told the air con was not working. We literally got to the bar and the sweat was pouring off of us. Couldn't even wait for a drink as it took so long and we needed to get air as felt like we were going to pass out. So ultimately we paid £20 to walk in and walk back out for the girl who took our money to say oh yeah there's no air conditioning!! Seriously £20 is a lot of money

Security aggressively kicking my male friends out on Saturday night for turning their t-shirts into crop tops. Then proceeded to mock us all verbally outside and weren’t afraid to share their discriminative views. Not a safe environment for anyone LGBTQ+.

Came here in August on my birthday with my partner and a couple of friends. I’m from Watford so if I wanted to go clubbing I’d go in Watford, but this place for some reason stood out. Drinks were reasonably priced (2-4-1 cocktails), Free entry before a certain time and not too crowded wherever you go. Also a photobooth was a bonus haha. I’d defo return after this fab experience. Decent night out if you're in a group, VIP area made getting drinks super easy. Open till 4am with a great atmosphere playing the cheesiest of cheese music

I used to love Popworld when it was 80s music, but now it's a mix of pop from the 70s onwards I find it a lot less fun. It is still a lot of fun though.

First time coming here & the place is ok I guess, on the small side with a light up dance stage. I got here for 8.30om & only a few people where here but from 10pm the place got really packed. Special offers on cocktails up until 10pm on Saturday nights not sure about the other nights. I will come again & I did enjoy the music. Clock room is £2 which is a bit pricey.

I've always been told to go to Popworld, as it is "right up my street" and they could not been right. Great atmosphere, good drinks, the music was so great, I could not get of the dance floor but I shout out for Nicola, for making my time really enjoyable

I loved this place. Came into London for a few days and wanted to have a fun night out. London's known for its massive clubs but honestly, I didn't want to deal with that. Local told me about this place and so glad they did. 80s and 90s music, nice bar staff and a great all around vibe. Everyone was dancing, laughing, and having a good time. Would recommend to anyone who wants to go out and have fun without being surrounded by a thousand people.

Don’t go there!!!! Very sh..ti manager and the bartenders :( o my God, they treat you very uncool !! They use only fake alcohol and because they don’t have cameras someone stole my phone and my purse, the manager told me that was her problem and she left. I spend there allot of money and that how they treat good costumers!! Don’t go there!!!

Went there for a night out with my family, amazing music and great atmosphere. Absolutely friendly staff, had a banter with the bouncers and the bar. Welcomed nicely. Management should review the prices a little. And just an advice from a professional in hospitality: If closing time is stated as 3AM, please don't ask people to leave at around 2:25AM. Overall,a very positively vibed place, with slightly pricy drinks, good music and friendly staff. Will definitely visit again, let me know when you reduce the prices a bit 😁

Love cheese so was told to come here. It did not disappoint! Stones throw from Mansion House station, CHEESE GALORE, disabled toilets were actually well looked after and the Partini cocktails were a GAME CHANGER! This is literally the definition of a fun night out

New managers a joke she has no people skills or manners Rude to customers let alone her OWN staff and rude to her OWN security guards like there a piece of gum on her shoe. Needs to go ASAP her alone ruined me and my mates night out. Bar staff were amazing I don't understand her, as a manager she is ruining this place as have been a regular for a long time now and never have i seen a managers standards slip this low before ever. Whilst it was a fairly good night out there were issues. I emailed to book a table and my email was forwarded and was told someone would contact me but nobody did. I couldn’t get the booking on the website to work. Few days later and hearing nothing I tried again and it worked. I thought that was it table booked. Apparently this is only the case if you get an email link to pay for it!! No where does it state this. As for cheese well it’s dairylee triangle mild cheese. Not true strong mixed fondue cheese. I was expecting full on cheese not rap and house music and modern stuff too. I am a total lightweight with alcohol. I mean one bottle of bus makes me fuzzy, two I’m tipsy lightweight so a vodka or two and I’m gone. I have seven cocktails. In other places 1 does me. Seven and not even vaguely tipsy. I would say there’s possibly a lot of watering down going on or something. I came with a large group that was drinking a lot and no one felt effects of drink and to be honest didn’t really see the usual drunks either.

Booked a large group, had such a fantastic night. Cheesey tunes, good vibes, friendly staff. Excellent service from the manager (wish I could remember her name!) and the lady at the bar (Natalie I think it was?). Have only been to this branch a couple times but I reckon we’ll all be regulars before we know it. Thanks so much! :) x

Our social event was held in the VIP Room, and the play items eg sunglasses and hats, and Hawaiian garlands were great. Our guests had a right boogie on the dancefloor, and enjoyed themselves.

Went here on the opening Friday night. Loved it here, Popworld goes Pop. Cocktails, Fun and the DJ was Fantastic, all the Pop classics with a couple of new ones. Will be back again soon

Good fun place , price arnt to bad for London which was a nice surprise! You will find a lot of older generation here. One major problem here is it’s a small basement club and they have no air con so it is incredibly hot and ruined our night. Don’t think we would return due to this matter

Had a cracker of a night here on a random Friday in October last year. Awesome, danceable music with friendly staff (the chap who manned the cloakroom had a great attitude!), with a danceable floor (can't stand sticky floors in clubs!). They even had someone dancing in a kind of mascot disco costume and they were about 7ft tall (good moves whoever that was)! Definitely want to go back when I'm next in town!

Literally came on Thursday hoping to check it out for the first time as it had good reviews. Made. I kept calling this place to see if it’s ok I didn’t book as i forgot and it was 9:00pm. No one picked up at all, I made the long journey to the place hoping it will be fine, when I got there, I saw a sign saying place closed due to strike. This was annoying as I didn’t see this notice on the website so I made that journey for no reason and had to look for other night clubs. If I knew in advance, if the website had the notice. I wouldn’t of made ways in the first place

What a great night we had. Such a hidden gem in the heart of the City. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, musical nostalgia all night and some fabulous Pprty drinks to support the celebrations. We will be back (often!)

I wasn't allowed in because I couldn't provide an ID. I am 40 yrs old so clearly above drinking age. My friends had ID, all above 40 as well. Not sure why ID is needed for entry, doorman failed to explain it to me. I don't need an ID for other venues. So I went to spent my money elsewhere.

From the music to the atmosphere, my night at Popworld was one of the best nights I have had in a long time. Being a 40 year old bloke from Warwick Avenue, I felt like I was a teenager again. They had a lovely selection of juices and after the small price of just £12.50 I really did feel pretty in pink (this of course a reference to my Barbie outfit). I also met two lovely young ladies who worked there who were very helpful and provided top notch service, especially when I couldn’t find the little boys room. I later found out their names were Kim and Anna, so a big thanks to them :)
