Lovely pub! Very large with a lot of seating. They have two floors and a lift for those who can't navigate the stairs. It is reasonably priced. They have a good selection of beer. The cider is delicious! It's clean. Friendly staff. Good location. The restrooms are clean, large and uncramped, unlike a lot of other pubs I have been to. They have restrooms on both floors so there is no need to navigate to a different level. Will definitely return here.

Overall this is not a bad Wetherspoons pub. Big place with plenty of seating. The food is basic but good value for money. The drinks are also an affordable price. Toilets were kept to a reasonable standard. One young male behind the bar needs a bit more training but generally speaking the bar staff were friendly and worked well.

Wetherspoon Kingston offers a mixed experience for visitors. On the positive side, the pub boasts a spacious and welcoming atmosphere. The interior design is classic, with a nod to traditional British pubs, and it's well-maintained. The staff is generally friendly and attentive, ensuring prompt service. However, the dining experience can be hit or miss. The menu is extensive, offering a variety of pub classics, but the quality can vary. Some dishes are well-prepared, while others may fall short of expectations. Prices are reasonable, making it an attractive option for budget-conscious diners. The pub's beverage selection is a highlight, with an impressive array of beers, ales, and spirits. It's a great place to enjoy a pint with friends. One downside is the noise level, which can be quite high during peak hours, making conversation challenging. Additionally, the cleanliness of the facilities could be improved. In summary, Wetherspoon Kingston is a decent choice for affordable drinks and a relaxed atmosphere, but it may not always deliver consistently in terms of food quality and ambiance.

Went to this restaurant for dinner a couple of days ago, was the worst experience ever! There were a couple suspicious women walking in and around the dining tables of the restaurant. We alerted the staff that they were in the restaurant, however they just dismissed our complaints. A few minutes into dinner, one of them came to our table for a couple of minutes with a paper and a fake sob story and wanting our food, when she was asked to leave us alone, she walked away and left immediately and we then realized she robbed my wife's cell phone from our table. The restaurant staff absolutely refused to offer any help. We had to try and find her on our own and had to call the police ourselves. They didn't seem to care that a theft had occurred in their restaurant, it didn't even seem important to them to get rid of random people harassing their patrons. Avoid this place as there's no proper security.

Avoid using the app! Took over 20min on a Thursday to get a simple pint and coke. Staff were overworked and not the nicest. Plenty of better options in the area

The evening started well, i had my little treat apple crumble, and a nice glass of red, my wife and i were happy people watching, seeing the efficient staff serving and clearing, then I remembered that I had to make a phone call so stepped out the side door and went round a barrier into a little side street called nipper alley, only to beckoned away by a doorman….. what’s wrong i asked he said come out!!! I said no I need to make a phone call away from the traffic noise, he ranted and i pointed out to him that it was a public road and as a doorman he had no authority to chastise me (im not a loud youth, but a mature 60+ year old) i finished my call and tried to return to my wife who was awaiting my return inside…. The young man stopped me entering insisting that because i had not followed his instruction I could not return. I said im going in, no… I insisted that I am going into my wife…. Long story short, this went on, The whole experience of this person spoilt our enjoyment to what would have been an enjoyable day

Lovely family pub located in a great location, with beautiful marble topped bar and wide selection of food and drink. I especially love the Full English, very good value for money and delicious. Staff are friendly and attentive, make you feel welcome. Highly recommend this pub to anyone in Kingston.

There's a very good choice of low-alcohol beers here - the Punk IPA 0.5% abv is delicious! I ordered a double cheeseburger and chips, which arrived very swiftly and was passably good. The condiments area was unclean, and occupied by dirty, sticky bottles of vinegar, mustard and chilli & garlic sauce. The gents' loo smells appalling. Table service was professional; the bar staff, rather less so... This place at least has the virtue of being inexpensive.

Very busy, extremely loud people who took over the entire upstairs area. No consideration for any of the other customers, continuous shouting & all talking over each other. We were going to eat, but decided not to & left after 1 drink

This is a great pub, with plenty of atmosphere and charm. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The food was as your hope from this popular chain and the facilities were well equipped and clean. I'd certainly be happy to return with friends and family.

Decided to pop in for a quick drink before heading over the road to the Odeon. Easily found a table - the pub is very large with 200 seats upstairs as well as those downstairs. Decided to try the app to order drinks and food and was very impressed. Drinks turned up as quick as if I had gone to the bar and the food was not far behind. As only a light snack was needed we chose the halloumi fries, chicken nuggets and chips. Everything was hot, fresh and well cooked and I would be happy to go back for a larger, more relaxed meal.

Well kept cask ales. Service always proficient. Friendliness of service down to the individual. Only ever seen them deal with problems in a professional manner (with courtesy and patience). Considering the wide range of...erm...people(?) they have to serve, I say they're ALL doing a great job.

Overall experience of this Kingston spoons is amazing. Love the staff. Was served by Blagoy, whose service was flawless. Kept asking us how everything was, and really cheered one of my friends up. To this day, my friend is happy I brought her to this spoons. Had an interesting experience today. It felt petty. Ordered one corona and one zero alcohol beer. My friend had foolishly left his ID at home. We apologised and said to the waiter that he would dash home and grab it quickly. The manager, Georgia, in spite, confiscated the zero alcohol beer and refused to leave it on the table, even though the person without ID would no longer be present. To think, if my friend was to leave completely since he had no ID, would it be unreasonable of me to ask if I was able to have that drink back? Was this confiscation necessary? Are these the rules, or was it personal? We couldn't be sure. The attitude and the rudeness made a simple situation feel bitter and it's just sad. Perhaps she is under alot of stress? Perhaps she is going on a power trip? Either it felt petty. What a shame. Wish everyone else a good experience and other than this situation, I recommend this spoons 100%... maybe the best spoons in London. They even serve Linghams garlic chilli sauce - what spoons does that??!?

Pints for £2.66. They have lots of soap in the bathroom so you can wash your hands properly.

As expected. Filled a hole. Ran out of breakfast items early and there wasn't a board listing what was out of stock prior to ordering. Atmosphere was pretty bland, imagine a nursing home with beer and slightly better food.

It is a huge and very popular pub! Service was prompt, food served nice and hot. I think wetherspoons are a a victim of their own success, the pub was so noisy I could not hear my friends talking at the same table! We left early to find a quieter place to catch up.

The manager was the food runner is horrible. Does not customer service experience. He is rude and grumpy. So had to talk to when the food and drinks orders has gone wrong. Not sure if I will go back again. Rather than that all the stuff were amazing and happy

Great pup, the food was good and the drinks cheap. Came here with some friends and despite how busy it was Clive was exceptional. He truly added to the experience by making us laugh many times. The staff in general was very friendly and attentive, would definitely come back!

A fairly standard Spoons. A big venue that can get quite lively in the evenings being near a club and in the centre of town. Always nice to see a variety of non-standard Spoons beers on tap, such as Staropramen. App orders can often be very slow and toilets a bit grim, hence the three stars.

Very atypical of a Wetherspoons, we like the fact that you can order from an app and avoid the queues at the bar. We came here for a bite to eat and it was served very quickly. As it was a Friday night it was extremely busy and chairs and tables were in short supply.

Good place for a drink and meal. Have been there couple of times. Staff are pleasant and friendly. They do have special deals for certain days of the week. Need to watch out for it.

It is always a pleasure to drop by! The wide selection of beers and ciders is amazing! You will never get bored of trying the same drink or cocktail again! Staff around is professional and willing to assist at any time. Pub food with great flavor and generous portions. If you are short in budget, but still, looking for good place to go out and eat, this is a great option!

Friendly and relaxed atmosphere, but stick to standard breakfast items. Ordered the Miner's Benedict and got under-toasted muffins, under-cooked and dry black pudding, poached eggs more like half-boiled ones, curdled hollandaise sauce and a handful of wilted rocket. Minging! Will be sticking to bog standard breakfast next time.

Decent place to have a drink. It can be very noisy somedays. The food is cheap and okay. I'll recommend the Chicken Wings, Strips and Fries. Stay away from the Nachos. The beer is good and if you are lucky you may find a deal on one of them. Good Service. Worth the money

My son brunch had burnt bacon which I notice and asked for some unburnt bacon. My mixed grill arrived and the Meat was placed burnt side down as was my tomato. When my sons bacon arrived I asked why my meat was burnt. They said they would get me some un burnt meat but ended up giving me another meal.

Very crowded after 11.30am. Tables sticky, so not sure if they are cleaned. Wish there was a separate till to order food. Long wait for food when I found something that was available according to the staff. Food not great. Looked overcooked. Small portions. Staff friendly and were trying their best.

Not very busy early on a Friday around 2000. Later in the evening around 2130 it will get more busy. Very prompt service on the bar. On the app would take a little longer depending how many they have to go through before getting to you. Good place to watch people going in and out.

Another customer was catcalling me and the waiter/bar staff came and asked if I was okay and kicked the guy out and his group. He was really nice and respectful and the people that work here are really caring no matter the other customers behaviour. Really like the People that work here :)

Was in this pub a week ago. going great until 2 bar staff rudely trying to get a friendly guy to leave, without finishing his pint that he paid for, all because he had his horse outside, which the actual manager knows he does every week. The horse was actually bringing in more customers as people wanted to speak the owner. Who was friendly.. there was no problem, the male bar staff just had a chip on his shoulder. I think he just wanted to try to agrivate the gentleman on purpose as I even tried to speak to the bar staff. I ended up leaving aswell as thought the staff were the problem not the gentleman with the horse.. and what a beautiful horse it was too..

Dear Wetherspoon, Hope you are well. We were a group of 10 visited the Kings Tun on 08 March 2024 around 2100-2330, it was my friend’s birthday so we ordered over £100 cocktails punches in total. However, your duty manager first closed down our table on the APP without telling any of us, then when we asked why, he told us that one of us was drunk so he banned us for ordering more. We didn’t notice anyone was drunk, while the cocktails punches were fill with half ice, how can an adult be drunk by that? Personally, I haven’t even finished my first punch and the duty manager kicked all of us out. I was so confused! Just because we are Asian looking faces so we had to be weak at drinking? This is absolutely discrimination. We are definitely sure that we didn’t make loud noise or movement like the other people in the pub, we were only sitting by our table and talking. When we wanted to solve this problem with the duty manager, he wasn’t respectful and didn’t talk to us face to face, didn’t give us his name in order to make a complaint. He told the security to kick us out, that’s it. Sincerely, I hope the head office can give us a great explanation defining what’s the level or the boundaries of being “too drunk” till the point we can all get kicked out from a pub. Secondly, the duty manager should apologize to all of us face to face, and the office should give your employees a training lesson for their better manners. Please let me know if required any further information. Have a great weekend. Best, Samantha

A cosy pub. As I love Asian food I tried the new chicken curry katsu rice here - although the portion is not really big, it’s yummy with very low price in London with unlimited refill hot drinks!

As a regular weekly customer, we have gotten kicked out 08/03/24, refused to serve us drinks and alcohol due to their duty manager that claimed we are too intoxicated to order more drinks. We are then kicked out of our birthday celebration by the duty security guards and we will not be coming back. Security refused to give manager name that was on shift and we were quickly escorted out of the venue. Poor management and poor customer service.
