I would like to say a very big Thank You to Louisa, Serif, Anne, Jocelyn, Sandra and Erma for all their hospitality and hard efforts during my partners pregnancy and during and after the birth of our baby. I am so glad I have had the chance to meet everyone from the Sunflower team as each and every one of them were not only wonderful but very heart warming with the personality of an angel. You girls are all professional and I wish every single one of you the best for the years to come I highly recommend this hospital for birth especially the Birth Centre which is always clean and tidy like the rest of the hospital and any problems, they are very quick to respond to any issue.

In a very bad hospital, my wife is not satisfied at all. They are behaving very badly. They don't turn any attention. My wife had a very heavy birth and no one cares. It hits a tone. They come exactly 3 hours later and ask. What are you saying? However, they do not attract attention, it is a very bad hospital. I would not recommend it to anyone.

I transferred my care from another hospital to North Middlesex hospital. I gave birth February 2021- during covid season and that was the best decision I made. I had a positive overall experience at this hospital, birth and care leading to delivery was good, no complaints. The staff were helpful, caring and professional. Including the community midwives. There were one or two bad apple staff members who I can say spoil it for the rest of them. But I came across very few at a time and would encourage you to complain about any negative experience you have. I would definitely recommend the maternity care here.

North mid were amazing from my very first appointment back at the start of lockdown. I was offered extra scans and appointments whenever there were concerns and triage were amazing when things didn’t feel right, even after the birth of my son. I don’t remember all the names of the staff but I’d like to thank the doctors Alison for helping me make the best decisions for myself and my baby and Rosalind (?!) and her team for doing a great job and making me feel so safe during my c section. Mabel was one of the midwives who was just fabulous and removed all my anxieties. Thank you to the entire team who delivered my baby on 13th November. You were all amazing! The aftercare was also fab. My partner was not allowed to stay with me because of Covid but the lovely nurses and midwives made it so much easier to care for my baby and help me recover. Thank you Nina, Gilda and all the other ladies on the ward over those days. Covid restrictions have added an extra pressure on the staff but they just got on with everything and took it in their stride. Thank you! Also, the trainee midwives are so competent and are getting trained by some amazing staff.

Want to tanks to all staff at birth center! I had very long and thought labour, but thanks to all midwives on duty in those 2 days, which didn't let me give up I had my planed natural birth successful. That is my second child born there and if I need to choose, will go there again. They are stars ☀️🍀❤️ Special thanks to Marijn and Camila, who were with me at the final stage! You will be blessed in my thoughts every time I recall that day! ❤️ 7.03.2022 baby Aleksey ❤️

They don’t answer the phone. 2 days of continuous trying to call at various times and I have not been able to get through. Tried calling the main operator to put me through, couldn’t get through that way. I ended up having to call another appointment department and leave a message with them to pass on to the antenatal department as I had no other way to get through to them. Fingers crossed it gets through to them, though I have feeling it won’t

I have attended the hospital with my wife and the Nurses and housekeeping staffs were excellent. Catering staff was very rude and they don't even bother to explain what they even serve. The way how the behaved like in a 3rd world country jail. Just read the menu near the door and don't even answered when she asked about menu again. Waited hours to get a jug of water. Housekeeping staff were excellent. They came many times and the room was excellent clean. Nurses were doing excellent job. Catering staff should need a customer care training.

I am writing to express my disappointment with the care my wife and I received during her recent stay at North Middlesex maternity. We were initially impressed with the care provided by Monica, but we were later disappointed by the care provided by Gilda, the manager. She was rude, dismissive, and completely uncompassionate. She sets the standard for rest of them so you can imagine the midwives are awful. The overall atmosphere at the hospital felt more like a prison than a hospital as your in a room with no windows, with staff more interested in watching TV shows and discussing their holidays than providing care to patients. We would not recommend this hospital to others, especially for a delicate time such as childbirth.

I'm pregnant and unwell and I called the maternity team to see if I can be seen, I just moved into the area from Barnet and these people told me to just go to Barnet Hospital??? Why would I go there when Middlesex Hospital is 5 min away? "Amazing" service. Thanks

Second experience here. It assured me how badly treatment care is here. Being NHS Nurse Staff I’m really disappointed. Security staffs think they’re clubs bouncers. Extremely disrespectful. None of the value of those who boast are applied. I hope this can avoid a horrible experience to someone else. Please do not get any service from this Hospital. Specially Maternity ward

This hospital has great facilities. We have just had our first child and cannot fault these Although there are severe issues with understaffing and the mentality of some staff. My wife chose an elective c section. On every single visit for 9 months they would push for a natural birth... not sure if this is a general NHS incentive, but we answered the same questions over 100 times. It got a little too much. (Multiple times at the same visit.) The c-section went well and care during procedure was fantastic. I cannot fault the team. The issues came in the maternity ward. My wife didn't need constant support, although I always question whether leaving a mother and baby for over 5/6 hours at a time without checking on them is normal practice. The Dr visited at 8am (all OK), the midwife only came round at about 1 in the afternoon to fill some forms after that, baby checked at 6pm by Dr and cleared to leave. My wife then waited around again for midwife to discharge her for another 3 hours... all we were told... she'll be here soon. A lot of people walking around but no one really knew what was happening. I don't want to blame the professionalism of the midwives... I just think that they are being run ragged. I am thankful for the NHS and all its workers and so thankful they helped deliver our little girl. The above is just my experience... with another one or two midwives, they could clear beds quicker and improve experience for the mums.

Had my baby girl on the labour ward here in May. I transferred here from Whipps Cross as had heard great things about the birth centre. Unfortunately on the day I went into labour the north centre was closed due to staff shortages but the midwives did everything they could to give me the birth I wanted. They followed my birth plan and when things didn’t go to plan they made sure I was fully informed and let me speak to the doctors to ask any questions I had. Soela, thr midwife who spent the majority of my labour with me was fantastic. Really friendly and made sure I was comfortable. When her shift finished Beontay and a few others (I can’t remember all the names), delivered my baby girl. I can’t say thank you enough as despite my birth not going as planned I still had a really positive birth experience.

The service providers are absolutely disrespectful. The information they give out is false . The last waiting update was two weeks ago . The receptionist is no help to the public .

I had my son there. (1 year ago) I left this review on Google North middlesex hospital. But I want alert another moms. They almost let my son died. Just because they refuse to do cesarean. I wasn't dilating even with regular contractions about 21 hours. I asked for epidural but the doctor wasn't there and when I was having contraction every 2 minutes they offered but I could stay in that position of course it should be done earlier. My son had a meconium aspiration and 6 cardiopulmonary arrest. He is alive because of God and everything could be avoid if they had made cesarean. My baby was macrosomic and they knew that anyway they insisted to do natural birth. It was so traumatic that I don't want to have more kids.

Excellent service from the maternity ward especially Maria and Julia. They are credit to the NHS. You get 5 star treatment from the maternity ward, expecting mothers have access to a large private room with regular care from midwives, nurses, doctors and consultants. Healthy food is also served at meal times. In a private hospital, delivering a baby in this environment will cost you thousands of pounds.

😠 Everything was Better than expected given the staff shortages/strains the NHS has been facing recently. 😠 My partner was very disappointed with this clinic. The doctor cut the allocated appointment time in half, and had no patience to explain any complicated terminology to her, asking her to look it all up online for herself. My partner was then charged 800 pounds.
