😠 The owner of this business is extremely rude to his customers and even to his employees. The pastries were ok, but at the same quality levels you can find in the Sainsbury’s next door. Will not come back. People often mention coffee, great, friendly, Coffee, Black, owner, waffles, Cowboy, good, asked,

An excellent coffee shop a minute away from Elephant and Castle station. Good coffee with a selection of sandwiches and cakes and pastries. A fairly quiet space, suitable if you need somewhere to work in the area. The owner is also very friendly! Can't recommend highly enough

Wild West Meets West Africa In The Heart of Elephant & Castle! A Coffee Shop That Does Chicken Waffles & Chicken Wings! Friendly Customer Service. Did Not Dine In But Will Be Back. Bespoke & Authentic, Unique Coffee Shop With An Ambient Beautiful Cafe For Everyone To Enjoy! Cakes, Pastries, Sarnies, Vegan Shakes and A Good Selection Freshly Made Desserts, Waffles and Other Hot Food Available. We ordered a whole load of food & drinks including the Chicken Waffle and Chicken Wings Combo x2 from Just Eat & came to collect - It's easy to blame human error for online orders rejected but The Black Cowboy Himself came to assist me when the online order went left - Yes folks...The Black Cowboy is the REAL DEAL! He swiftly rectified the issue and resolved the order with ye good ole fashioned human touch...sometimes it makes all the difference to customer experience! ((Hence the 5star Rating)) Nice quiet spot to get some 'work from home' done with plenty charging ports available and enough private desk space from other peering eyes! There is a cute cosy corner set up that is very comfy & intimate yet clean & accessible which is so needed now we can mingle with each other again in public. Quick Sum Up 1st Visit: 10/10 Customer Service and Ambience! Amazing Food and Shakes...am yet to taste the coffee however the warm comforting smell and gently wafting aromas are inviting & YES folks ChikN Waffles are yummy! There is an untold story unfolding here.... This is on one hand a Black Business owner crafting and creating his own space in the business world whilst presenting a Coffee Waffle Shop that pays humble homage to the history of Black Cowboy & Early Ranch Life with genuine artefacts on display from saddle to boots and spurs! Me Thinks There is more to come from this one...

I used to buy cofee there everyday until I met the owner. They way he communicate is not compensate by the quality of cofee here. I asked for milk the way I used to get it from other workers, and he shouted that he doesn't care and it's his money. He spoiled my day, if you see the black cowboy at the counter, don't get in.

It is a convenient place to stop close to the Bakerloo Line E&C entrance. Pricey for the service provided, but bearable in terms of food quality and service. It is not too clean and the "atmosphere" lives much to be desired. Still...all right for a quick coffee or ice tea.

Nice oat milk flat white & latte, appreciated by two very fussy coffee drinkers. We liked the relaxed ambiance and vibe of the place, overlooking the hustle and bustle of E & C. I worked in E&C years back when Black Cowboy Coffee was trading from a little ser up by the station. I'm glad to see local businesses having the opportunity to grow amidst the gentrification. 😊

Owner is extremely rude and has serious anger issues! The owners response to my review is totally inaccurate, and every negative review I have read, has been about his attitude and the personal attacks he shows to his customers. We never asked where you are from we asked where do you source your coffee beans from and complimented the store and what you have created. You then actually asked me about my education and heritage which I answered in good faith only for that to be thrown back in my face. For those of us who already feel different, being asked where we’re from or whether I am indigenous to Africa carries implicit assumptions about my race and ethnicity. This translated to me that You don’t accept that i belong to Africa .. It unfortunately validates existing beliefs about social identities and also can be quite patronizing. For instance, when you followed up the with, you do look like you’re from india or Pakistan in a way forced me into neat categories of race, or nationality, without acknowledging the nuances of my personal identity which you did not want to listen to or accept. Maybe none of us have singular identities and most of us belong in many places. People can belong in different geographies, cultures, and identities at the same time.

The man working there (with a cowboy hat) was surprisingly rude... I asked his for a glass of water and he didn't want to give one to me unless I bought something. Coffee wasn't good. I've spoken with friends that have also been there and they aslo found this man to be very rude.

Everything is excellent here. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is amazing. especially the staff are really friendly and adorable. Whatever you want to eat, here are. Always many choices for you such as breakfast, waffles even hot wings. The decorations in this café are great and made me want to stay here for a whole day.

Best Coffee in London. They offered the best coffee and showed the best attitude to its costumers. The atmosphere is brilliant and we really loved the setting. The handmade grilled Tuna Cheddar sandwich was amazing! I would definitely go there again soon! Thank you!

I came here for breakfast and had a wonderful time! This place is a hidden gem. The music is great, the staff are friendly, and the food is tasty and affordable. There are good vegan options and I really like that you can customise your pancakes and waffles. There are 2 entrances; 1 has a step, but the other is wheelchair accessible. All-in-all this is a great cafe to visit, and I will definitely be coming again!

I had a lovely coffee and salmon bagel here Sunday. I look forward to coming back. Good coffee, great music and a unique and special place. I’m glad still unique and independent places to find in Elephant and Castle.

So glad I found the Black Cowboy again. I so missed his coffee wagon outside the now demolished E&C shopping centre. A real artist and the best coffee and waffles in south London. Saddle up

This is a locally owned coffee shop in the elephant and castle area add. Every time I come here, it’s warm and friendly and the owner is always here dressed up in cowboy attire. People are nice and the coffee is great. Try their dirty chai lattes! They give NHS staff and students a discount.

Customer service is very friendly but the sausage roll was extremely dry. The flat white was very hot and so at work I pour onto a glass to cool it down, it looked like instant coffee and tasteless. Real shame I am picked them over pret and for being local. Recommended from work but overall disappointing.

Grubby Small Coffee in chaos. Got my large latte in a dirty and not full mug - left feeling gross and thirsty - Interior is overloaded with signs and art set around grubby tables some areas dust is thick enough to write in - it’s just not clean!

This cafe is absolutely amazing!! Natalie and Sung are so sweet and helpful!! I get my coffee here every single week, they also offer student discounts and many vegan options 💕

I really wanted to like this place but the food and service were both very disappointing. The smoked salmon bagel was cold, stale, and untoasted and very bland. The waffle was overcooked on the outside and undercooked on the inside, and took over 20 minutes to get to our table, meanwhile several people who ordered after us were served first. On the positive side the bacon was good.

Had an hour to kill and walked past black cowboy coffee a few months ago. Went in and got a fantastic cup of coffee from great staff in a fun well decorated environment. The whole place is very on theme but the coffee is great quality and well made. I plan to visit again the next change i get.

This is our stop over whenever we come to elephant and castle area. An authentic place for coffee and some light food. There are also black cow boy merch you can purchase. I would definately recommend this unique coffee shop.

Super cute cafe in the middle of Elephant and Castle! The overall vibe is great - awesome decor and posters, it's bright and airy, and there is a wide array of food and drinks to choose from. The people behind the counter were so friendly and funny! Also, it's lgbtq+ friendly! (obviously...cowboys...)! Overall, I would highly recommend Black Cowboy Coffee to anyone looking for a great cup of coffee in a cool, welcoming space. Check it out!

You can taste the love that goes into this coffee - and the great food offered here. And it is a really cool place to hang out. This is a prime example of the Elephant and Castle renaissance. Thoroughly recommend!

Come here for a meal you would not expect! 🤩 They serve waffles with chicken and bacon. 😮 Unfortunately, when I went here I wasn't up for a hefty meal so I took a sausage roll which was nice as well. Definitely will come back here one day to try out their waffles.

What a great concept for those that really do appreciate a great cuppa coffee. I'm so glad I stumbled across this delightful hideout in the elephant. They even had choices of beans to choose from with the best customer services who were well knowledgeable about their beans.
