I normally don't write reviews but after I was treated by the osteopath Torben Hersborg, I felt compelled to write something to share my extremely positive experience. I was initially treated by another osteopath but after the first session, I started suffering from extreme pains, headaches, nausea and lack of appetite. I was ready to go to A&C as the osteopath I was treated by could not be contacted and it was New Year's eve. Luckily enough for me the Central London Osteopathy and Sports Clinic was open and that day I had my first session with Torben. Immediately after that all the symptoms caused by treatment by the previous osteopath started disappearing and this way I managed to celebrate the New Year like a normal human being! I continued been treated by Torben and after a few sessions my initial symptoms started disappearing. As I had no prior experience with osteopathy, at first I thought that every qualified osteopath would do the job but I was wrong. I found out the hard way that unless the osteopath has a huge experience knowledge, talent and truly caring about the patient, there is a high probability that the outcome could be devastating. Torben is extremely knowledgeable, experienced, and has the ability to evaluate one's body condition and weaknesses at a glance. This way he tailors his treatment around each individual's needs. His movements are fast, confident and always effective and knows exactly where to press and at what strength. He truly cares about people and can be easily contacted in case of emergency. Reception at the clinic are very helpful and in general their ethos is very positive, friendly, helpful and flexible. Thank you very very much!

As a personal trainer, I’m glad to have met Fabio! We have worked together over the past few years to help clients achieve pain-free results with a combo of rehab and strength training. Fabio is an amazing professional and we’re now great friends as well.

I've been seeing Coco (sports massages) and Fabio (Osteopathy) for several months now and they are both amazing. As a regular gym goer who cross trains and who is not always the best at the recovery part, the two of them have done an incredible job in making sure that any niggles I have picked up along the way do not advance and recover quickly. In the last fews weeks ahead of my first powerlifting competition I hurt my back quite badly and right up to a few days before I feared I would have to withdraw, but with a combination of their treatments and following their advice I was able to compete without pain or discomfort and even hit a PB on my deadlift. Coco and Fabio really know their stuff, experts and great at what they do, also extremely friendly and easy to talk. Highly recommend.

I saw Ange, who completely relieved my pain in 4 sessions. He listened carefully to my description, asked follow up questions to quickly pinpoint the area. He explained the physiology as he went, which demonstrated how thoughtful he was being in the treatment and his expert knowledge in the field. His bedside manor was exceptional and professional, preparing me for when I might feel something, and asking my how I was doing continuously. I can’t recommend him enough. Thank you, Ange!

I highly recommend physiotherapist Ange-Elie (Ange). He is immensely skilled, knowledgeable and flexible in his approach. He has successfully helped me with a number of issues, as well as suggesting exercises/stretches to do in my own time, fully explaining why they will be helpful. I came in to the clinic to see first Andreas and then Ange for a foot injury. I REALLY lucked out finding these wonderful people and receiving their support through this process. Over the past 3 months, they have helped me increase my body awareness significantly, educated me on my physiology, and taught me to listen to my body and set appropriate goals to stay injury free. All of this with a compassionate, tailored approach! I really cannot recommend them enough. Thank you Ange and Andreas for all that you do!

I started to see Fabio for my lower back pain a couple of months ago, and he is honestly a miracle worker. After 20 years of back pain, I am now pretty much pain free, and he is really friendly and kind too and explains everything very well. I have already recommended him to some friends, and will continue to do so! The receptionist is also really lovely and friendly, can highly recommend this clinic - the best!!

I suffered from migraine over the weekend due to extreme tension in my upper back and neck. I got an appointment directly on the following Monday with Andreas, who managed to release most of the tension in the first session - and the last bits during a second session two days later. During the sessions he explained what he was doing and why, which I found extremely interesting. I would definitely recommend him!

Ange was incredibly observant, attentive and helpful when I attended at central London oesteopathy recently. I booked my first session when experiencing high levels of pain and I left with such noticeable improvement which only increased during the days that followed. Ange made sure to see me within a few days to check in on my recovery and his treatment was very targeted and helped massively once again. Over the course of just three appointments, I am so impressed at how much my back has improved and how Ange kept me calm and at ease throughout.

I booked an appointment with Andreas following being involved in a very minor car accident and having neck/shoulder pain as a result of this. I’ve had four sessions so far and the pain has improved. I feel completely at ease during the appointments and Andreas takes the time to explain what he’s doing and how it should help. Would highly recommend this clinic and Andreas.

I'm currently receiving treatment for my frozen shoulder from an outstanding osteopath Mr. David Canevero. With a combination of manual therapy, acupuncture needles, my condition has improved remarkably. The pain has significantly decreased, and I've regained a greater range of motion. I highly recommend this skilled osteopath to anyone in need of top-quality frozen shoulder treatment.

This is the best best ever Osteopath ever. I myself go Tobin, he is the best ever. He’s blessed with this amazing gift to heal all issues. I’ve been registered with this clinic over 6 yrs. He treated myself when I could not stand up straight, I was screaming in pain when I crawled in with Tobin’s help to get through is door. Honestly after 15 mins I was able to touch my toes and I walked out as if nothing had ever happened. He treated my daughters feet as her toes lock and he gently pulled each toe and you could hear the clicks, it did not hurt her but what difference she felt after the pain and discomfort at and she could wear the shoes and trainers. She liked to this day. She’s been absolutely fine we’re just going back for an MOT . I told Tobin and I’m sure he remembers this, that he has to God as he laughed. I know he isn’t, God , but I was just so amazed & shocked how he he able to assessed and release my back issue Tobin is a calm beautiful person who said it’s a gift he had as a young child. I’ve sent sooo many people to him. The reception team are lovely. There are other great osteopaths that work there but for me I don’t go to nobody else besides Tobin.

I’ve had a great experience meeting with Ange. He’s very easy to talk to and quickly understood my symptoms. After careful consideration, he was able to provide the required treatment and exercises helping me feel more like myself again. Highly recommended! I have also seen Fabio and Martin for separate issues who have also been excellent.

Was booked in with Martin for a sports massage has having neck and shoulder problems. Post massage I can now move my neck freely. He also suggested warm up movements to do before I lift with my trainer. As always outstanding service from this practice.

If you have any kinds of aches and pains do not hesistate to book to come here! Had a constant, sharp, intense, excruciating pain in my lower back the last 2 days which left me unable to lie down, sleep or breathe without pain. Booked an appointment online this morning at 3.30am for 10.30am today and within twenty minutes the amazing Andreas had worked his magic and eased everything. By the time I got home I was finally able to lie down. Absolutely fantastic. I first came here in 1999 (and 2018) and saw the wonderful Torben. The service and treatment is still as outstanding as it was 25 years ago and I can't recommend the place enough.

My career leaves my lower body battered and I wont go anywhere else for my sports massage, Rita Saha is the gold standard. I’ve tried countless other therapists and Rita is incredible, the best I’ve had and I wont consider anyone else. I took a train from Manchester to London this weekend JUST to see her. A++++++++++

Jenny at the reception desk is amazing, efficient and always accommodating! She works wonders and move mountains to get you sorted:-). Susana, the physio, is in one word a magician! I always feel energised and pain less walking away:-). I have started seeing her after I suffered from sciatica, but since then (five years ago) I have been seeing her regularly every so three weeks, so that she can keep me in shape and sort any potential problem before it even starts:-). She just looks at you and knows instantly what has been happening to your body:-). She is simply amazing!! Oh, and when you go see her - she likes a good chocolate:-)).

In January 2023 I started seeing Ange for high levels of lower back pain. Not only was Ange compassionate, he was professional, kind and very knowledgeable about physiology. He gave me targeted treatment and exercises to continue with at home and due to his expertise my recovery is now complete. Thank you Ange, I am so grateful for what you've done, I can't thank you enough. I have already recommended Ange and the clinic in general to friends and colleagues and I will continue to do so. Called 30min before appointment to advise I had realised the appointment was earlier than I had in mind so I would not make it, this of course entirely my fault for not checking, however even after apologising the receptionist instead of being more customer service centric and giving me my options decided to complain how disrespectful I was by calling last minute and giving me a bad attitude over the phone as the "therapists blame them when cancellations happen", also how "you're going to be charged you know". Really shows a bad internal culture, shame as probably the therapist would have been great, they were recommended by a family member but after this I'm put off, I have of course paid their late fee, to me is not about the money but the service which was non existent in this occasion. Review Update: Received a call from the therapist to apologise, was also invited back to the clinic, thanks for reaching out.

Recommended by a friend, after trying other avenues to fix my increasing lower back pain. Amazing results, after one session Torben unravelled all the knock-on problems, knee, neck, hips, spine, as well as sorting my lower back. I have been in constant pain for 5 months and even unable to swing my leg over my bike without wincing. Thanks to two sessions with Torben, who assessed the problem immediately, I'm now much more mobile and almost as good as new! at 50+ I thought this might not be possible. Now I'm able to swim, cycle and return to ballet classes pain free. Looking forward to session No.3 in a month's time, as I'm much improved after each visit.

I’ve been seeing Fabio for lower back problems and he’s been absolutely great at both treating any immediate pain and guiding me with a long term plan. He really takes care of his patients in a more holistic way rather than just treating the single symptom. He’s provided me with good recommendations for a physio to help with the strengthening side. I’ve had experience in the past with other osteopaths who have not been able to provide any physical relief or reassurance that I can be helped. The team at central osteopathy are very friendly and I wouldn’t go to any other osteopath now!

Torben is my first choice for any physical injury. My son badly sprained his ankle on exercise in the military, I took him to see Torben after having appointments with other physios and he fixed it first time and my son had instant relief. Torben is first class which is why he's so many people's go to man when you desperately need treatment.

Went to see Torben because of back pain, and he was amazing, no more back pain and I can even touch my toes which I could never done before. Very friendly, made me feel at ease, couldn't recommend it more. I'm seeing again next week. 5*

Life changing!! That may seem overboard but it’s really not. I saw Torben on Monday as I have been suffering with chronic neck pain, continuous and sometimes debilitating headaches. I couldn’t get through a week without having headaches every other day if not for a few a consecutive days. I work as a sports therapist so these issues were starting to take their toll in my work life and home life. I need to be fit and able for my job (and life!) and I was starting to really struggle, to the point I’d be in tears a lot of the time from discomfort and pain. All I can now say is, the tears have been from absolute relief! I haven’t had one headache since I visited Torben and it’s been nearly a week. Not even the heat / sun has triggered my headaches, I’ve been able to treat my own clients and not go home in pain myself! Although I have no headaches or neck pain, I have another session booked with Torben and I can’t wait. I seriously can’t put into words how highly I recommend him!!! Thank you so much Torben.

Amazing service! I am pregnant and woke up with terrible burning pain in my pelvis. My midwife recommended me to take pain killers, which I didn’t want to take. And my doula told me to go to osteopath. So a friend recommended me this clinic. And they booked me in same day few hours later. Came in with terrible pain, couldnt walk properly, couldn’t sit, couldn’t bend my leg. Torben did few magic movements - and NO WAY - everything was fixed! David Canevaro fixed in 5 minutes what other therapists couldn't do in 5 years !! Expert treatment and a pleasure to deal with. I also saw Coco for a Sports Massage which was extremely effective. I highly recommend this centre and it's therapists.

Dan came highly recommended to me and I was able to make an appointment on the same day. I had this headache coming all the way up from my neck which felt really stiff and painful, also pain radiated down my back. Probably due to my poor posture at work but I just could not get rid of the pain and discomfort. Dan sorted me out in two appointments. My neck mobility was back after first appointment, headache completely gone the next day. He gave me few exercises I could do while sitting in the office etc. This made a positive difference as well. Dan is really amazing, easy going and friendly and as an osteopath 5 stars! I've seen osteopaths in the past but whatever relief from my pain I had afterwards, it lasted few hours only. Seeing him allowed me to avoid taking painkillers and that is a huge plus for me! Would definitely recommend!

I came into see Torben to find some relief from the aches and pains of my scoliosis. Already after the first session, my back felt a lot better and my strength in my legs was restored. I am currently undergoing a few more sessions in fairly quick succession to maintain the improvements gained. I can only highly recommend the Central London Osteopathy and Sports Injury Clinic. Very knowledgeable and very professional.

Possibly the best sports massage I’ve ever had. The therapist koko was very knowledgeable and strong. Not for the faint hearted but definitely what my body and back needed. Highly highly recommend

I couldn't recommend Torben more. I was in and out of A&E for a month with horrible pain and numbness down my right side, barely able to walk for weeks without help, and the doctors I saw had no clue what was wrong. After a few sessions with Torben I'm running again completely pain free!

A dear friend recommended I should use Central London Osteopathy for issues I was experiencing on/off with sciatica over the years, which was triggered recently. I made an appointment last week Thursday online and was able to see Daniel Collis, the following day. I was so impressed with the way in which he was able to diagnose my back issues, in a kind,friendly and down to earth manner. I now feel so much more informed about what I need to do based on his treatment plan and left feeling pain free! I would thoroughly recommend Daniel as a professional practitioner if you want to get back on track !!

Daniel is fantastic! I've been coming to see him for the last 6 months and it's been a great experience. He takes everything in to consideration when treating you and takes a detailed history. He also remembers all of this information each time, even with months between appointments. I cant' recommend him enough for how skilled, professional and friendly he is. He will put you at ease straight away!
