Quite simply put the Hound Hut and its fantastic owners/staff are one of the main reasons we survived year one of having a puppy! Great selection of food, natural treats and toys etc, as well as invaluable advice on nutrition and training and a free puppy weigh-in service. Their grooming and daycare services are hands down best in the area. Always a friendly welcome and after visiting just once I promise you that your dog will DRAG you there every time you walk past. Cannot recommend these guys more highly!

I have a standard poodle and the Hound Hut Oval gave her the best cut she's ever gotten. Diego, the groomer, was so attentive and came out and talked to us before her cut, asked us questions about what we wanted and then confirmed we were all on the same page. All the staff was extremely nice and welcoming and we left feeling like our dog was in good hands. Upon pick up we were excited to see how good she looked. The inside of her ears were also fully cleaned - which hasn't been the case at other places we've gone. I Highly recommend them as we have been to so many groomers in London. We definitely found our new groomers!

The best shop in town! Even Baxter AKA li’l B agrees! Anthony & Rob are just amazing, the service you receive from start to finish makes you want to never leave the shop! Such a lovely little pet shop! You can tell they have passion for what the do just by looking at their stock, it’s limited given the small space but it’s been researched before being placed on the shelves. I talked to friendly staff member who showed me some handcrafted dog jumper and even HIS own handmade parachute cord leads and collars. It’s lovely to see a local shop supporting other small businesses!

We love The Hound Hut! Ever since the day we decided to get our Goldendoodle pup, Furlo, the guys at THH have been fantastic. They have helped with tips, trainers, food, treats, toys and now grooming. We can’t walk past without her pulling into the THH because it’s such a happy place. Diego the groomer is kind, patient and does a wonderful clip. She comes out a new lady every single time. To all THH team, thank you! You make having a pup in Vauxhall just wonderful.

Our Cavapoo Vera has always been a fairly fussy, and rather grumpy diva. She's never been a huge fan of being handled and so has always been a tricky customer when it came to grooming. But Yuila at the Hound Hut always manages to work wonders with her, and Vera leaves her appointments soft and fluffy, and smelling amazing - and so far with minimal drama! After a few months we decided to start her at the doggy daycare also run by Hound Hut - as she was already familiar with the location and staff. We were apprehensive as she often finds too many other dogs overwhelming but knowing that they had a limit of just 8 similar sized pups we decided it would be the best thing to help her social skills. After an unsure start I can honestly say it's made such a huge difference. She's a much happier and confident dog now, and she absolutely loves going each week. I truly can't recommend the Hound Hut team enough for their care and patience. Rob, Anthony, Andrew and the rest of the staff are so brilliant and knowledgeable, and Vera just adores her time with them. That's not to mention all of the wonderful treats, toys and accessories in the shop itself - they have everything you might need under one roof. The ice cream is a big hit for us in the summer!

We had to bring our 11yr old Jack Russell Bo to a wedding at the Kimpton Fitzroy hotel as we had no one to look after him at home. We were slightly anxious about having to leave him with a stranger for 6 hours as he is 11yrs old and feared he would be nervous, but our dog absolutely loved Rob who is kind, calm and very reassuring. During the day kept us updated with a photo of Bo having fun with the other dogs in his care. Bo was dropped back at the hotel and we could see he really happy and relaxed. I can highly recommend using the service.

Since she started going to daycare here my nervous chihuahua has been so much better with other dogs. I can't recommend Hound Hut Oval enough. Their grooming service is also great, and the shop is a delight to visit with friendly helpful staff. If you live in the area and have a dog you should definitely check it out!

Really friendly, get my raw cat food from here and so glad they stock the Nutriment brand. Got my Staffy’s nails trimmed here for the first time, really lovely groomer and she was friendly and welcoming. Definitely will be coming again rather than where I was going before.

We were really happy, and most importantly I saw that my 4-legged children were also happy so I recommend them with great pleasure, because they do an excellent job thank you very much to all of the team satisfaction note 10🥰

These guys are wonderful. We get all of our dog stuff here and they are very knowledgeable. Our poodle is only groomed by Diago too. We also use the Doggy Day Care and our dog loves it, always super excited when she realises where she’s going and always greets them both like old friends - which I guess they are. Recommended without reservation.

Hound hut is the best pet shop I've been to in a long time. The staff are friendly and helpful nothing is too much trouble, can't believe they even remember all of the dogs names Pluto loves going in for his treats and the food is all natural. Anthony is so good with the animals and always has time to chat with the owners. Definitely the best hound hut in my opinion

High quality in professional grooming. Groomer has experienced groom for show dog. Groomer is very nice，he help me to style my dog and told me what I should do before show patiently. The fur is very soft and fluffy after bath and looks nice even my dog is in shedding.

First time bringing our whippet to a groomer for a treatment and couldn't be happier with the result! We did the ultrasonic teeth cleaning - not invasive and quick...will def bring her in again for a refresh! Recommended to all our friends!

We were highly recommended this store and we are so happy we visited. I think the name was Anthony? He was so lovely and helpful! He advised us on raw feeding and was able to answer any questions we had. Our pup loves all of the treats we have purchased as well! Such a lovely little shop. We have now booked our pup in for his 1st groom and i know we will feel happy leaving our pup in their hands.

Absolutely the best groomer ever! And trust me, I checked quite few as I have two dogs. First of all booking an appointment is easy. The store is modern, well equipped and people working there are very nice and friendly. Diego - the groomer - talked to me before the cut so I could explain what I want and the results were better then expected. Both of my dogs look amazing. Honestly I’m impressed. Thank you!

For our puppy’s first little groom, they took great care of him (thank you!) so he was excited to come back for his first adult cut. Excellent service from Tatiana, we spoke about what was possible for him and he looks exactly as we wanted, plus he was super happy. Thank you!!

Love this shop and all the staff, a great discovery! They stock every sort of food, toy and gadget and Diego was so gentle with my nervous pup when she first got her nails trimmed .

I had our little Maltese groomed here for the first time and was so impressed. Instantly welcoming. Rosie was very nervous but the team were great with her. She looked brilliant afterwards. Will be coming back soon
