Really comfortable place to easily spend an afternoon. Good vibes, lovely staff and most importantly, great coffee. Editing my review as I’ve revisited a couple more times now, and I cannot be a happier customer. I’ve tried THE kimchi sourdough and it was absolutely scrumptious. Addictive really. I’ve also ordered different coffee beverages and all of them were easy and smooth for the palette. I dare say, this is the best coffee I have ever had in London by far. Very well balanced beans in general for all sorts of coffee drinks and always finished with gracefully done latte art! I can’t recommend this place enough!

A great local real coffee shop that really focuses on the quality of the coffee. After all they actually roast there own coffee beans for crying out load! and it seems they have been around since 2013. Warm friendly staff who where kind enough to show me and my kids there roasting facilities. Overall my new to go to coffee shop.

Best you could get out of a local coffee shop! The coffee is delicious and the staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and super helpful. The space is open with tons of natural light and they have their roasting space in the back. Lots of seating outside as well, and right next to Big Jo for all your pastry, bread, and cake desires. I was curious about their espresso options and at the time they had a single origin Mexican alongside their standard blend. The espresso was really sweet, great acidity, and clean. As I was wrapping up, one of the staff dropped by a cup of their new Pink Burbon, Huila Colombia. Honestly, one of the best filter coffees I’d had in a long time! Thank you 🙏 and I’ll be back when I’m in the area!

Best coffee in islington. We go here pretty much every morning with our two dogs since it opened! Greated by Hugh & Alex always with big smiles, so friendly ❤ and the coffee is made to perfection. 100% reccomend to a friend. P.s. only things its missing is a bigger plant infront of the bike rack. 🤣

I've been coming to this place for the last two years now during the mornings to do my work as I usually work from home and I love this place! It's very chill, good music is always playing, the staff don't bug you after you've finished your coffee or try to chase you out. That welcoming attitude alone has kept me coming back and even if I left North London I would travel back to get a coffee from here. Also, the coffee is 10/10 and they really know they're stuff about what they're selling because they roast their own beans (I'm talking the science of coffee level knowledge). I hardly ever write reviews, ever. But damn give the roasting shed their flowers!

Barista this morning needs a refresher on customer service. No hello, was looking at her phone and singing songs whilst I waited. I was the only one in the shed. She was too preoccupied and it came across as rude. The iced chocolate drink was not good either. Would have been keen to try the coffee on another occasion but after that service probably not. Disappointing.

Bright open space in the community to work remotely. Lots of plugs and the coffee and baked goods are delicious! Staff are friendly and there are also lots of nice produce/bits to purchase too.

Great coffee roastery, I live nearby so always go a buy some new freshly roasted beans to make at home - great for espresso or filter. Staff are really friendly and any brewed coffiee I've got at the shop are always tasty.

Lovely coffee and delicious pastries - also some of the best seasonal juice I’ve ever had, ver refreshing. I went for breakfast with some friends and afterwards attended an espresso making+tasting workshop, as well as a roasting workshop. Was all super interesting fun and engaging, would highly recommend to anyone!

Reviews are baffling. Rudest staff you will come across. They also decide what size they will give you regardless what you pay for. Seems like it’s only good service for certain people when they decide to try and smile. Try a proper coffee shop that’s 2 minutes away. Saint espresso!

Came here the first time around a year ago and have been a regular since! Very nice coffee and the friendliest staff ever (special shout-out to Mumin and Alex, always a bless <3). The space and atmosphere are superb. I can easily stay there the whole day. Very dog-friendly too! Nothing to complain about really. Loving it.

The reviews don't lie. It's definitely your place to go if you enjoy specialty coffee. Coming from LA it was a bit hard for me to find coffee I like in London, but I finally found a place to go. Alex, the barista, even offered to show me the current batch they were roasting. I got to see the process and was delighted with his warm and accepting energy. Did I mention the coffee is fire? Roasted properly and brewed properly it's hard to find such quality coffee.

Stumbled across The Roasting Shed on my way home recently and am so pleased I did. It’s lovely and airy, with exposed brick (a necessity for a fancy coffee shop), lots of plants and so much light. It’s a popular spot for laptop workers looking to get out of the house, but you can usually find a table to sit at, and the atmosphere is nice and calm. The coffee itself is smooth and strong, which is lush. It seems to be ethically sourced too, which is fantastic. Also, we do love to see a coffee shop not adding a charge for milk alternatives. They get a star knocked off because it’d be good to have some vegan options, such as a pastry or sandwich / roll.

One of the best coffee shops in London. Excellent Matcha Latte and I like how fishy it tastes! The staff are helpful fun and considerate. Definitely you are tempted to come again and again.

I don't know how I'd not stumbled across this place before, being only round the corner. OK, it's quiet and lockdowny still, but got great friendly service, some nice beans and a shot on the house. The cakes on the counter looked very yummy... Perhaps later in the week for elevenses...

This is just the perfect coffee shop for a coffee lover like me! Tried a lot of coffee shops before but this one is different. Just WOW! The quality of the coffee that they're using was incredible. This is a must try for everyone!

Really enjoyed my cortado. Perfect balance between milk and coffee

Tried a flat white and filter. FW texture spot on and well balanced flavour. Filter was lovely. Do yourself a favour and try an almond croissant on the side! Well worth going out of your way to pay this place a visit if you've an interest in specialty coffee. Quite a bit of outdoor seating along the shop front if you want to sit and enjoy your drink.
