The crew kindly explained all of the instructions, patiently answered my questions before and during booking, and allowed me to still have my full time when i ran a bit late - which is so kind since this was a special escape in the midst of the chaos of the pandemic. Absolutely recommend this business and the fantastic people running it!

Just do it! :) Nothing like rowing through the canals in a wonderful day! Gives you a different perspective of the city. Kayaking is such a great fun. The guys organizing are awesome!

Really friendly staff! To think they give the same safety and welcome talks all day and yet their excitement level and welcoming smiles, are high. The day we went, they recommended two waterways we could take. The options were less algae, but more locks, or no locks but with more algae. I really appreciated that, as we opted for the less algae route and weโ€™re eventually rewarded with beautiful clear waters and lots of wildlife. The physicality of it was a lot, but manageable with two people and I havenโ€™t seen the inside of a gym in years. If you take the lock route, you do need to be able to haul yourself up, or kayak with someone who doesnโ€™t mind helping. Passers by were super sweet and would help me also whether I needed it or not. The kayak is heavy to pull in and out of the water, but also manageable. We were a group of four people, so on the way back, we finally realised if we teamed up on the carrying, it was quicker and easier. I would definitely go again. Although it would be nice if they also did kayaks for one person too, as I would love to be able to pop done on my own occasionally. Iโ€™ve kayaked twice in my life as a teenager, it was so easy to get to grips with. Do listen to the instructions and take your time figuring out directing the kayak.

This is no criticism of the organisation, very friendly helpful staff, good kayaks, easy to book no hassle. From Limehouse however itโ€™s a very uninspiring journey. As my wife commented, paddling in a open sewer. Good if you want a work out, but not a pleasant paddle.

Amazingly fun experience! They give you a kayak, paddle, life jacket and water tight container to use and demonstration. They were really flexible with us when we arrived late too because it was the end of the day and schedule allowed. Super friendly staff. The river itself was a bit green and leafy in some places making it harder to kayak through but in the clear patches it was amazing. We went on the route with no locks.

See East London from a unique angle - a duck's eye view! We have been out with Moo several times from their Hackney Wick and Limehouse Basin centres. Our preferred route is Hackney Wick, up the Lea to Springfield Park, and back again (allow 3-4 hours for this). We do prefer the bigger canoes that they have in Hackney Wick, which can fit three people (or two adults and two kids) and are single paddle (slower speed, but less effort!) We really enjoy seeing the wildlife, and river life. You can get 10% off drinks / coffees in the Milk Float bar before and after your trip (open air barge). Don't be scared if you haven't done it before - friendly staff provide full instruction and assist you getting in and out of boat, which carries highest chance of getting wet. Highly recommended

We took two canoes out of Hackney Wick mixture of kids and adults. Really friendly helpful staff, offering advice for how to best sit everyone in the boats, also they were great showing the kids how to use their smaller paddles. We took and easy route with no portages. From the very borderline industrial area we started we were very quickly into a much more rural area. Really lovely Saturday afternoon in the sun. Will definitely be returning for more trips on the canal. Oh and there was a canal boat baker selling bread and cakes further along the route. The brownies were fantastic!

The staff are v friendly and boats in decent condition, but would not recommend kayaking from Limehouse. There are many areas of dense litter and algae, you definitely would not want to fall in! No toilets here, but you can go at the nearby Yurt cafe.

Friendly team. It was a beautiful day to get on the water. It's notably that there is a fair share of rubbish and weeds in the water but don't let that put you off.

The Moo team was great. They were friendly and engaging when briefing us before we set out. They were knowledgeable and professional. It is a fun activity to do, and different from a lot of other thi gs to do in london. We really enjoyed our kayak with Moo, and will be back to explore more of the waterways. Thank you.

Nice experience. Getting through the algae is hard work but that's out of their control. Good value for money. Will definately rebook

Horrible experience. We ended up carrying the canoe canal-side for over 2 hours in the pouring rain, because the re-entry point was covered by boats and it was too dangerous to get back in the water. We would have thought the route would have been checked that morning to ensure all entry points were usable. We also had to go back after starting to get a tool to assist with the locks - of which, weโ€™d been told there was 6 but we last lost count at 9โ€ฆ When we tried to get hold of someone to help us, it look 30 minutes for them to call back. We then called again and the bloke said heโ€™d not been told about us! When someone finally arrived, they apologised and said that we could come back any time to their Hackney site. When we tried to re-book and give it another go, we texted 5 days before we intended to come along. No one replied to us until the morning of the day itself, by which point weโ€™d made alternative plans. It seems that we may have had an unlucky experience, but we are 2 experienced kayakers and expected much better from this company. Incredibly poor.

Had to take a moment to review Moo Canoes based solely on how great of a guy conrad is, he went out of his way to assist my wife and I and I have to thank him for that, I highly recommend this company and especially Conrad is the best.

๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ Fantastic. They take care of you from beginning to end - fun, friendly with facts as you go slow to Tower Bridge but then the fun begins. I was nervous but no need.
