Everything was really perfect here❣️scone, clotted cream, jam, tea, price, atmosphere! We can also buy pretty cups, glasses, plates and so on.

We booked the Cake Hole venue for an afternoon tea for our team of 13. We had an amazing time and all the food and treats were absolutely delicious. Louise and Mark were perfect hosts and were really good at communicating with us ahead of the day. They were also very accommodating with the menu as we had some food allergies and dietary requirements in our group. The afternoon was filled with bottomless tea and lemonade, fresh and tasty sandwiches, beautiful scones with plenty of clotted cream and jam, and the most amazing variety of cakes, which included: Chocolate & Raspberry (Vegan), Lemon Drizzle, and Orange, Almond & Earl Grey (Gluten-free). Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon. Thank you so much Louise & Mark for a wonderful afternoon.

Nice cream tea, but the real star was the Orange Earl Grey Cake! One of the best cakes I've ever had. And the service was so friendly and wonderful - he even told us how to make the cake! Go here! You won't regret it!!

Planned my sisters hen party with Louise the owner and she went above and beyond for us. The food and drink was amazing. She made the whole process easy and took all the stress away I can not thank her enough. Would highly recommend popping in for some tea and cake will not find better service anywhere else thank you Louise and your husband as well you both made the day perfect for my sister and her hen party ❤️❤️❤️❤️

A bit of a hidden gem for cream teas, traditional homemade cakes and some apparently quite sought-after sausage rolls. Run by a very capable team, it’s a perfect spot for some R&R amidst shopping around Columbia road. Be aware that the cafe is at the back of vintage heaven, so might be easy to miss otherwise.

Well.... Although we arrived just as it was opening we was warmly greeted and shown to the cafe which is set at the back of the shop, after deliberating over what cake to have we decided to go for different ones so we could try each others. I love having either lemon or orange cakes but they never live up to my expectations, but at last I found a cake that hits the spot , if you love orange cake have this one it won't disappoint you. We loved the service and wouldn't hesitate in coming back 👍

Nested at the back of a vintage store, this coffee shop is a true gem. The staff is super friendly, and coffee was insanely good. I didn’t order any pastries but they looked amazing. The atmosphere is super cosy and comfy thanks to a very unique interior design style which makes you wonder whether you haven’t just stepped in Beatrix Potter’s wonderful world!

Nothing is too much trouble for Louise! We celebrated my sister’s hen at the weekend at Cake Hole Cafe and wow! Louise is an exceptional hostess; nothing is too much trouble. She created the most beautifully decorated venue and made the hen just so special. Everything from the table arrangements, to the background music - Louise was there every step of the way to help us plan such a momentous occasion. She has a wealth of knowledge with Hen Dos and is super professional yet personable. I would whole-heartedly recommend the venue for an event to remember and something a little different! Thank you Louise and team!!!

Small and cosy for a quick sweet bite. Nice atmosphere and lovely staff. It can get a bit crowded on Sunday mornings so don't expect a place to seat down and relax (only if you are lucky enough :)

Super cute cosy coffee at the back of a vintage shop. Absolutely loved it! The scones are one of the best I have ever tested. You have loads of options and the service is amazing: super nice, friendly and welcoming people 🥰

Went for a private hen party and the lady and gentleman couldn’t have been nicer. The food was exceptional and the whole place was beautiful. Pink lemonade was lovely but the cakes are out of this world

I came here around 14:00 on a Sunday and really wanted to love this place, but they reheated my scone without asking (is that a thing here?) and it just did not taste good. Also the clotted cream was stiff as butter. That being said, jam was tasty, the atmosphere was great, and the cakes looked good. Maybe best to come here in the morning when the scones are fresh 🤷‍♂️

I decided to visit the place after seeing the Google reviews. The scones were fresh and huge but very dry on the inside, however, the homemade clotted cream & strawberry jam were too good. Staffs were very friendly, and the service was fast. The most thing I liked about this place is the ambience.

We had drizzle and sponge, very delicious! Tea is good, with the nice tea pot and cups, just enjoyed the atmosphere very much. Scones are sold out, what a pity, but will return for it next time.

The shop is super cute, and the coffee area is nice. The coffee isn’t great but the pastries are worth a try. However the man that serve in the counter is rude and treat the coffee shop like a canteen. I was chatting with friends and halfway through my cup of coffe that he told us we must leave for other clients (in a rough impolite way). Just that situation has ruined the experience which had a good start.

What a cute place! Delicious scones and cakes, which make choosing quite tricky 😋 I fell in love with that street which has nothing but cute shops ❤️

A hidden gem of a place with a charming atmosphere capable of making you feel like you're many miles away from the bustle of one of the worlds busiest cities. The premises are small with a high demand. Luckily we were seated almost immediately. The service was top notch and very friendly. Now the tasty bit. The cream tea and scones hit the spot. The Victoria sponge absolutely delicious. Even the café latte was velvety smooth. So much better than expected. Miles better than any other coffee shop I have sampled in the city in recent years (big chains and independent little ones). Definitely hoping to make it back to this place again very soon. Only wish it was open during the week too. Well done 'Cake Hole Cafe'.

Thank you Louise for all your help organising Beccas hen party and for making it all so easy. The organisation and the food was amazing and the room was so nicely decorated. The whole hen party had a wonderful time!

My sister organised a visit to Cake Hole Cafe for my hen party and it was perfect from start to finish. Louise and Mark could not have been more obliging, creating an AMAZING, fully vegetarian, experience. The food was divine, particularly the white chocolate and raspberry sponge which I would more than happily eat every day for the rest of my life. I can also recommend the fruit tea which, as Louise put it, really does taste as good as it smells. I loved the decorations, and the fact that there were leftovers. What I didn't love was sharing with my fiance when I got home, I wanted them all to myself!

Best victoria sponge cake in London hands down. The shop is also always full of beautiful china and kitchen accessories. Great for a Sunday stroll around the Columbia flower market (shops since actual flower market closed for now)

Came here with my in laws. Only had a tea, but the mother in law, who is an authority on scones, declared it among the best she's had! Five stars just for the brownie points I got
