Easy to get to and centrally located, but more pricey compared to other garden centres in the area and in central London / your local big box store. This is partially because for houseplants, they sell baby plants and medium-large plants but few small plants. Plants all appeared to be in decent health. One way system is ok but when I went it wasn't too crowded; signage could definitely be improved (e.g. a mini layout map about where in the building to find certain things), and some things e.g. soil were not price marked / were not in the place one expected them to be. Baby plants (succulents, cacti, etc.) £3-5 so this would be a great place to get gifts! Most S-M plants around the £9-18 mark, plants in hanging baskets (pothos, hoya etc.) around £19-25, mature plants £35-50+. You can definitely get common plants of similar size elsewhere for less, but I did spot some less available varieties. Lots of cute decorative pots ranging from about £4-5 for small ~7cm pots, £6-8 for pots 10-15cm, £10-18 for pots 17-20cm. Perlite and vermiculite 3L for $6+, 10L for £15. Not the cheapest but good if you need small quantities. ` Good selection of young herbs £3-£6, and starters for outdoor bedding plants/perennials going 3 for £12. Supports, hoops and plant stakes £5-£10. Very good selection of terracotta pots and saucers, and lots of big outdoor planters! Lots of outdoor composts as well and many seeds.

I've been a customer's for many years but was quite annoyed about few things I learnt last time I went there: 1. We were looking for someone to help us for some time, finally found a man with a tea cup in his hands walking around like he is at home. He was with another customer for ages. When I asked if I can ask a question he said he is with another customer(still)-fair enough but then with a bossy attitude just walked away saying there are lots of workers around (there wasn't as we were looking around for at least 15 min to find anyone and this inside store isn't that big not to find anyone within this time ). He wasnt bothered at all other customers needed help. It was quite shocking to see especially when times like this a business would want to keep their existing customers. No customers-no money-no job for you either! 2. Card payments only! So actual money has no value anymore? What happens when a bank decides to close it's services for few days like it has been happening recently where on a hot day ice cream business had a huge que but their card machine stopped working for the whole day. No business can be done like this. There are a lot of people still using cash. And we prefer going to the businesses who do accept cash as well. I have to say I have no interest in going back there again. And better spend my money somewhere more welcoming such as the Boma garden centre in Kentish town.

Stunning!!! What a great experience! Thank you for such an amazing customer service from the staff, they even served customers waiting in the que with free beverages! 👏👏 The plants were such a good quality and reasonable priced, compared with other garden centres! Cannot reccomand this place more!

Nice garden centre, full packed with a diversity of products and very well stocked, considering how hard is now for many garden centres to find some things. Prices above the medium, but plenty to choose. A big plus is the Sundries Department were I bought some hand tools and 2 books. Coffee shop was reopened today, Saturday 17th April, but only outside on the terrace. Car park area is big and easy to navigate.

Beautiful Garden centre, was very upset to learn it is now CARD ONLY, why? As long as their have been humans there has been physical metal, gold, silver in order to transact with another. Very sad that such a prominent business in this community are discriminating against customers who wish to use cash. prices are a little high, but I belive the quality of the plants is worth it. Staff are kind. Everything you need is available.

A hidden gem of a garden centre. Very centrally located in Camden and only a 10ish min walk from Camden Town station. Great selection of indoor and outdoor plants and equipment. The cacti and house plants were all in very good condition with some fantastic varieties and species. A little pricey for the average consumer but if you're looking for a house plant as a gift or for a specific plant it has an abundance of choice.

Camden Garden Centre is a gem of a local resource. Operating strict procedures to be COVID safe, the staff are friendly and helpful with a good knowledge. Their outdoor area covers most plants from borders to a full herb selection with multiple varieties of the same type as well aggregate, trellis and posts etc. They also have larger bushes and shrubs such as silver birch and olive trees. Inside is a cafe as well as a full compliment of cacti, seeds, Gardena brand gardening tools and bbq. Pretty much anything related to gardening can be picked up here. Their prices are comparable to online so it’s great to support a local entity (this is a charity run centre) whilst getting hands on and seeing the quality which you don’t get with online purchasing. There’s free parking out the front and when Covid safe a park next door with children’s play area as a reward for them coming shopping with you. Payment is by card only and there’s multiple check outs so no queues. If you have a free members club card you can get discount and also we picked up free bulbs this time so and added bonus.

Too expensive, a bag of compost 12,99-14,99? A pot of dill with 3 leaves....anyways.. I've been a customer for so many years since I've started running my horticultural courses, blaming the water too expensive but the tap still open and the water wasted, staff don't care about customers running away looking for better options.

May I suggest you change your closing time from 4:00pm to 3:50pm? When I entered CGC at 3:50pm, no fewer than four employees badgered me to leave, despite my explanation that I was there for a quick look at an item and not for a purchase that day. If it was your goal, you succeeded in running me out of the store at 3:55pm. In my five-minute stay, I spent 30 seconds finding/viewing the item I'd come to look at, four minutes justifying my presence to your importuning staff, and 30 seconds marching to the exit to avoid further persecution. Management tip: your staff said there was a long queue at the till. How about re-allocating those four free-roaming employees to help out there?

A really beautiful Sunday morning, Breakfast at Camden Garden Centre. THE BEST BREAKFAST IN LONDON Stroll around the garden centre before having a lovely meal in the cafe. The staff are absolutely lovely, warm and friendly. A garden centre and cafe not to be missed. My favourite place for breakfast in London.

A lot of outdoor and Indoor plants, lots of cute pots available (a bit on the pricey side though) but really different from what you would find at Sainsbury's or supermarkets in general. Wide variety of plants from mini cactus to bonsai to bigger size models, also the place to buy plant food and tools that you would need for gardening. I like to go on Sunday it's not super busy and they also have a cafe upstairs where I like to sit down with a book and a hot beverage. Employees are also polite and helpful so a good place to go to.

Brilliant array of plants indoor (some are artificial) and outdoor, the café is great wonderful coffee and food and sometimes quiet. They have a reward card scheme so it's worth it if you are keen on gardening and want to know more you get 5% in a voucher back every 2 to 3 months to redeem in store which is great you can use the reward card in the café aswell adding to the voucher points. Oasis in central London

Nightmare to navigate. I'm dyspraxic and trying to exit left me on a panic. I would not mind if it was signposted or had arrows on the floor so suggest this is put in place to make the garden centre accessible.

I stumbled into this place because of their signs about lavender on the canal. It’s by far the nicest garden centre I’ve been to in central London. The staff were all kind and answered questions even about plants in my garden at home, and helped me select the best options for what I need. Even as I was leaving they made sure I had a proper box to take everything home in an Uber since I bought so much more than lavender. Never going anywhere else again!

Camden Garden Centre is outstanding in every way. The quality and variety of plants and containers is the best I’ve seen and the staff are exceptionally helpful and kind, especially today - thank you for your help in finding me a taxi!

I come here for their succulent collection, so can't really comment on the rest. It's a big garden centre selling everything from plants for flower beds to cactus. I have bought a couple of succulents from here. In the most recent visit they had a huge range of succulents. Although not sure if it's due to the hot and long summer, a lot of the plants were dehydrated and in poor shape. It's a convient place to get garden things, but there are cheaper places for succulents. Did stop me from going home with a cactus in our last trip though!

Such a quality place with more than reasonable prices! Also if you pop in during the weekend there’s a lovely couple selling fresh fruit and veg outside the entrance. The selection is amazing!
