Eaten here several times, they never disappoint. Usually I come for breakfast (brunch) they have great mimosas and Bloody Mary’s. I had the market scramble and added avocado, because Californian. The pancake pictured is delish I strongly recommend getting one. I wouldn’t have minded the Bloody Mary having a bit more “kick” / spice but that’s just my personal preference and I’ll ask next time- certainly not deducting a star for that. Dustin was my server and he was great… attentive and friendly, knowledgeable of the menu also. All in all a solid choice for brunch if you’re in downtown LB.

Super trendy spot for New American fare. They have a big menu, big portions, friendly service, multiple dog friendly patios, and a great cocktail and wine list. What else could you want? The perfect hip spot in a hip area. Get reservations for peak times.

Great service, amazing food and drinks! The oxtail gnocchi, lamb belly and cauliflower are a few of my faves! The rooftop is really nice. They have a nice private room for groups. I'm looking forward to coming back!

Really enjoyed Saint and Second! First off, the service was great. A+!!! The atmosphere was amazing as well. They had a great menu with several unique dishes. I was partial to the truffle fries. But every dish has amazing flavor and pairings. Their cocktails were all great as well. If you are looking for some great American food, this place is worth it. Can't go wrong with whatever you order. I'd recommend a stop to try it out if you are in the area!

After walking for a while our host finally found the correct destination. Upon entering we were greeted warmly & invitingly. Asked to see a menu & we all agreed, the host said we could go upstairs & seat ourselves upstairs. Found two wonderful women on the staircase, having a great time. Sat down & asked for the wine list & our server told me that I have the wine list already. Noticed a couple more people coming in and sitting down and receiving a Beautiful thick leather-bound book filled with drink options. When we asked about the Cocktail book, he informed us that the wines were on the back of the menu. My husband was drinking whiskey and I was drinking wine and our sister was drinking beer. So he should have offered the book. Starts to get weird after this, Because we called him out. When he mentioned the chef's specials, there was a salad with tomato, prosciutto, and cream cheese. How our server explain the salad sounded much more exciting than what was presented. The salad should have been listed as fennel, tomato, and cheese with shaved prosciutto. The dish was very tasty, but disappointing at the same time. My husband got oysters and meatballs and our sister got a salad with fried salmon. My sister would have liked to have been asked for a temperature of her salmon or preparation, but it came out fried. She enjoyed the salad and she said it was flavorful. The oysters were small and sweet and really good, the meatballs were seasoned well and very tasty too. When another server came over and asked if we needed anything, we said yes & my husband asked for a bourbon & ginger ale. We were told that they only had ginger beer. So, my husband ordered a bourbon and coke. The whole experience was odd. Our server was odd. But overall, we enjoyed our time together. First impressions make all the difference.

I recently celebrated my birthday at Saint and Second and I couldn't have been happier with my experience. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The food was absolutely delicious, with every dish being expertly prepared and bursting with flavor. But what really made the night special was the outstanding service we received from our server, Danny. He went above and beyond to ensure that we had a memorable experience, providing excellent recommendations and making sure that everything was to our liking. His attention to detail and genuine care for our experience truly made the night unforgettable. I highly recommend Saint and Second for any occasion, and I can't wait to go back again.

Read the menu and reviews and I thought this was my place. It has an incredible layout and I can’t see how this used to be a Hof’s Hut. Hostess was so nice as was our waitress. Menu was amazing and we couldn’t wait to try it. The Bloody Mary was excellent, I love the blue cheese stuffed olives. My son got the fresh squeezed orange juice and it was great. My brother and I both ordered the House Smoked Tri-tip hash, it was really good but after reading the menu I had my hopes set a little too high. I like my eggs runny, but these were on the rare side, the white surrounding the yolk was clear, not a sign of being cooked. I eat Tar-Tar with raw eggs so this doesn’t bother me but my brother, and probably 90% of people, would be turned off. Potatoes were very crispy which was a perfect compliment to the runny eggs. Meat was good as were the veggies. My wife ordered the crab and avocado toast, it was really good with the eggs poached as I would like them, but most people would prefer a little more done. Her biggest complaint was the amount of crab. I question, but don’t stand behind, whether that was actually lump (back fin) crab meat or just Krab. I lived on the Chesapeake Bay for many years and know what good lump crab meat is, I assumed this was imitation crab until I just looked at the menu where they call it lump meat. Anyone that serves “lump crab” tries their best to keep it in a lump, otherwise you could just use regular crab meat. My son had waffles, and with any 12 year old as long as there is syrup and sugar they are happy. They looked really good. So what caused the four stars? While we were eating our food our waitress came by and informed us that she was on her lunch break and another waitress would take care of us, no big deal it’s a normal occurrence. The only problem was after our waitress left no one came and checked on any of the four tables that she was in charge of. The table next to us just wanted their check, another one just wanted their food which took forever. It got so bad that we finished with no one checking on us and then we were looking for our check so we could go. One person came out and said she would get the check and later on another person came out and he didn’t know what was going on. While all this was happening I decided to walk around the restaurant and check out the bathroom. This place is truly amazing in what they did with the decor. There are pockets all over the place with a different ambience. The bathroom is upstairs but that didn’t bother me, it was super clean and aesthetically pleasing they had big open balconies with couch seating and tall tables and I think they even had a fire pit. This place is great for people watching and hanging out with friends, they even had a private dining room. If you come by, make sure you walk around the entire restaurant so you can see how amazing it is. All the staff we encountered were very friendly but once our waitress went to lunch everyone in her section was forgotten about. Having said all that, I would try it again.

In general I've really enjoyed my experiences at Saint & Second. It's a local upscale restaurant with bar that serves pretty decent food. It's a favorite brunch spot! And on a quiet day (or with reservation) you can get a spot on the second floor with a nice view of 2nd St.

Impressive dining experience, from start to finish. We were greeted by hostess with kindness and warmth. As you walk through the restaurant you can see beautiful copper or brass pipes running along the top, straight into the bar taps. The classic jazz music playing combined with warm lighting sets the ambiance just right. Then there's David...our waiter. Pleasant young man who clearly loves what he does. It exudes from him; from the way he approached our table, set the cloth napkin on our lap, wiped our table between courses, and opened the door for us as we approached the exit when leaving--all evidence he is in his element. His ability to engage in conversation, as well as kindly offer his recommendations upon request, he definitely sets the bar high. David, along with the delicious food we has the pleasure of eating, definitely makes it a strong desire to come again. Excellent experience. Thank you, David!

Tough rating... Drinks are always a solid 5! Bartenders are very creative and constantly make different/amazing cocktails. Food never fails to fully satisfy as well, also a 5! When it comes to their service though? A 3 at best… seems to get worse every time! Servers/waiters are not on top of their tables or anything! Very disappointing, but food and drinks almost make up for it.

Reserved online for a party of 4 with outdoor seating on a Sunday, and they were able to accommodate. It wasn't too busy, and our server gave us a free birthday dessert (mint ice cream sandwich)~ There's no parking lot, so you'll have to try your luck with street parking on the residential cross streets. We were able to find a spot by a park about a block away.

This is one of my favorite restaurants on second street. On this visit I got the bone marrow and salmon plate they were amazing. It was my first time trying bone marrow, I thought they paired it very nice and the flavor is distinct but was enjoyable. Salmon is my favorite! I loved the portions and the slow cooked salmon was extremely juicy and soft. I definitely recommend.

I always want to love this place but I think the food is hit or miss. It all looks good, but I think taste-wise it leaves some things to be desired. I have only experienced brunch items so maybe lunch/dinner is much better. Boozy drinks are good and the apps are pretty good. Had the best vanilla latte here too. Ambiance is great and the servers and hosts are all friendly!

I eat the signature burger and it was pretty tasty. The atmosphere is great with the terrace. The servers are brighter and friendlier. The price is more expensive than I expected.

We had the beet salad, sea bass and skirt steak and everything was delicious. If you're a fan of the tequila based drink Paloma, don't order it here. It could have been a one-off but it came out quite bitter. I requested a bit of sea salt to try to fix it.

The food was great, especiallythe grits. My husband and I ate here on a Wednesday night. 193$ bill (not including tip) for the two of us. We had the artichoke Flatbread and yellow fin appetizers. He had the seafood risotto and I had the pork chop. We shared the chocolate dessert. Everything was amazing. But don't go hungry. Our server was Jasmine. 30 minutes in no drinks or appetizers. Dinner took over 2 hours. She was nice, but the service was very slow. I asked her to half the alcohol in my drink and I got an extra strong one. The place was extremely loud. We were sitting across from one another and had to yell to be heard. Probably best to order take out as the food was awesome.

Just had lunch in the upstairs. The food was fantastic! We split the mussels, avocado hummus, and cob salad. The rosé they had was great. Drew took care of us- super knowledgeable about the menu and steered us in the right direction. Really great vibe and lots of interesting seating options.

First time here. Got lucky with parking, right across the street at 3 dollars for 2 hours. The service was so good and all of the servers were super friendly and helpful. They made a lot of good suggestions for us and they all sounded so good. I settled on the crab cakes which were so tender and delicious. I also had some chocolate dessert that was like pudding and also very good. We also had a fish plate which was enormous. And some other assorted things. There were no leftovers. 😆 will have to come back and try more soon.

Food was delicious and our waiter was great. The waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu. We ordered the melon salad, mussels, both fish dishes. Excellent fish. We made a reservation, but there was plenty of seating. It was off putting that the host would only seat us at the bar upstairs or downstairs when there was plenty of open seating. We asked if we could sit at a booth and they said no but no explanation to why.

Amazing!! Amazing!! This place for me and my family was top tier!! I came here for lunch and was just amazed by service, and how great all the food was & looked. Every plate that came out of the kitchen I wanted to try. The drinks were great here as well. We liked this place so much we can back a couple days later for brunch & was not disappointed. Also, the ambience of the whole restaurant was great. Who ever the designer was that helped with the design of this restaurant did an amazing job. There wasn’t anything I tried on the menu I didn’t like. Susan at the top bar was fantastic! She also really knows how to make great drinks, and Jacob are waiter was phenomenal! This made my trip that much better. It’s pricey but worth it!

As the 1,744th review. The reviews are quite obvious. If you don’t get it by now. You are daft. It is not my responsibility to tell you that the food here is a hell yes. Nor is it my responsibility to tell you that coming here won’t be a mistake. At least order the duck meatballs.

Booked 12 people, reservation was on the second floor private room. Very nice staff, wonderful foods and drinks recommendations. Would recommend coming here. The side dishes we wonderful. They paced us well and they provide new utensils for the main. The skirt steak was delicious.

Let's start with service: The waiters are soooooo kind, friendly and fun. I wish their kitchen was faster. Or they were faster. Not sure if it was the kitchen's fault it took so long to receive new cutlery after noticing ours was dirty. The food: Well, it was great overall. There's missing elements to make the food great from start to finish. Such as more crab on the avocado toast. The spicy ketchup is tangy but an awesome addition. Its made in house. The match latte is pure delightfulness.

Had a delicious brunch for my first visit to Saint & Second. I ordered the blackberry French toast from the brunch menu and the Caesar salad from the lunch menu. Both were delicious. My friends enjoyed their selections too. I didn't like the guava juice so I sent it back. Overall, a great experience!

This was my 1st visit and by no means was I disappointed. We had the upstairs experience which was the icing on the cake. The food was worth worth every penny and don't get me started on those mimosas. Kevin was an awesome waiter and is trustworthy on the recommendations.

Great little spot on 2nd Street. We were seated right away. Emma was great, she was very friendly and personable. I ordered the corn chowder and the battered fish sandwich with fries. They also had a kale and cucumber lemonade that was delicious and refreshing. My friend had a lettuce wrapped cheese burger with truffle fries (she says the sauce wasn't good). We enjoyed our time and I'll definitely be back to eat on the 2nd floor.

Really good food. Service is nice. Gets really busy on the weekends. Parking can be found behind the bank. You can use the Pay by Phone app to park. Took pictures of food half eaten cause I forgot. Lol.
