This place had the most incredible view. If you come, try to get your table outside to enjoy the view. The beers are quite refreshing and the atmosphere is really nice. I got the fish and chips and it was good.

Ballast Point Brewery is an absolutely fantastic place to grab a drink and a bite to eat. One of the things that makes this brewery stand out is their unique ordering system - you simply scan the QR code that is unique to your table, choose your food and drink items, and your food is delivered right to your table. It's fast, convenient, and makes the entire experience a breeze. We ordered a Speedboat Pale Ale, Hazy IPA, the Spicy Sausage & Potato pizza and the Fried Chicken Sandwich...yum!! In addition to their ordering system, Ballast Point Brewery also boasts a stunning view of the ocean. Whether you're stopping in for a quick drink or sitting down for a full meal, you'll have a breathtaking view to enjoy. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, making it the perfect spot for any occasion. There are plenty of tables available, so you shouldn't have to wait long for a seat. And if you're driving, you'll be pleased to know that Ballast Point Brewery has ample parking available. Overall, I can't recommend Ballast Point Brewery enough. The combination of great food and drink, stunning views, and a convenient ordering system make this brewery a must-visit destination. Whether you're a local or just passing through, be sure to stop in and check it out. You won't be disappointed!

You order from your table on your phone using a QR code but they charge you a fee. I recommend ordering from the bar. Then a server brings your food but there is no server to follow up to make sure you have everything you need. The wings and cheeseburger with fries are good, average portion. I liked the Speedboat beer too. The outdoor view of the ocean is beautiful 😍

Great place to go and enjoy a Cali evening right off the ocean. Recommend for tourists and locals alike. Dogs appear to be welcome out on the deck. Cold brews and great food. Only docking a star because I was hyped by a menu online that seemed old and had more selection. New menu is consice. Don't come for food more extravagant than basic bar fodder (burgers, tacos) but if you do get the food it's done WELL so can't complain. Love the modern take on ordering (cell phone menu, place orders online) and service was super fast and friendly. Thanks for a great evening, we'll be back!

Looking for good food, good beer and an incredible view? Look no further. Be ready with your mobile phone as you order and pay with that from your table. Just find a table to sit at, scan the QR code at the table and start ordering. Very convenient if you are in to modern technology. Food was good, service was good. I don't drink beer but the people I was with said the beer was good as well. But the view is amazing.

Overall: 5/5 Staff: 4/5 Appearance: 5/5 Food: 5/5 They have a great vibe and ordering system you can do individually on you phone. The service was quick and food was great but unfortunately on of our orders were forgot and took roughly an hour to get. We notified a great food runner who comped a drink and apologized. After finally getting our meal everyone else was done and we were rushed to clear the upstairs well a private event was still allowed to stay. Due to that it was a bit off putting since the mistake was on their part. Overall though it’s worth it.

Went to eat here and grab a beer since we love Ballast Point beer. The brewery is located right on the harbor. The brewery is very large lots of seating and baes on each floor. You can also see the tanks theough the a glass window. The view was awesome and they had indoor and outdoor seating. We sat on the patio on the top floor. You just can the QR Code on the table you choose to sit at and order and pay for you food and drinks all through the convenience of your phone. Then aomeone delivers your food and drinks right to the table for you. The food was awesome had the Ballast Point Burger waygu beef patty really good size super flavorful. The beers were on point. The spicy melt was good also made with waygu beef I will say it wasn’t that spicy but if you find banana peppers spicy then you might think it is spicy. The garlic fries were good however I found them more parmesany than garlicy. The fish and chips were good too and their tartar sauce was super yummy better than traditional tartar sauxe. The dlatbreads were a good size too super flavorful. Overall food and deinks wise definitely recommend. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was because one of our friends hadn’t received his burger and when we asked someone they said they would check then have it out. It wasn’t a big deal til it became an hour later 2 other people asked about the burger later and still no burger. The first guy did give him a free beer, but it was still ridiculous everyone was done eating finished off their beers and he still hadnt eaten. And when I say an hour I’m not just trying to be a “karen” and over exaggerate. We were just hanging out and it literally took forever it legit was an hour and dark out already. Then when he finally got his burger we were told we had to move downstairs its like you guys already took forever to get his food and now youre kicking us out while hes eating to close off the top deck. Like it just came off as so rude. He was in the middle of eating like at least let him finish eating so mid meal he had to pick his tray up and move downstairs. It was pretty busy too so he literally finished his food standing up. Overall place was good customer service was just sadly not there.

Cool setting and great place to see the sunset but not a fan of their beers, got a sample of different kinds to try and they were all so bitter. Friendly staff though. These are the samples I tried with my friend (all 4oz and $3-$3.50) Aloha Sculpin Burst of Pride Grapefruit Sculpin Sculpin Watermelon Dorado Prices are good but couldn’t find one we liked. You can scan the QR code on the table to place your order. Parking is a bit hard to find since it’s so busy.

The place is gorgeous, has decent food and REALLY good beer. You can't go wrong by coming here. Treat yourself and sit up top. Worth the wait and you will enjoy the best views in the area. Nighttime it cools off and is perfect for a cool evening of drinks.

5 stars PERIOD! Top notch service, atmosphere and you can’t beat the views! Perfect for almost any occasion. The food we ordered was phenomenal! The portions are pretty big so you won’t need to order much food. You can definitely share. The drinks were great. The only negative I give this place was for the margarita drink. Don’t order it, trust me. I highly recommend this place! Can’t wait to comeback again!

Excellent view! Surrounded by water provides a tremendous natural ambience. Great service by hosts at the door as well as bar tender. Great beer recommendations- seems like they had 1000 different kinds on tap. I order pastrami sliders, which were absolutely delicious. Good place for a good time with your friends.

Large, unique space, with gorgeous views! The downside is, you seat yourself so if you're looking to get a nice seat outside, you may be walking around for some time. The service is friendly and the food is decent. I inquired with them about holding a large event here but never heard back from anyone so it's a hit and miss with the service.

Luke was our server for a party of 12. Amazing server, friendly and took care of us well. Deserves a raise! We went on a Wednesday night after our group's paddle session. We sat in the patio with the heaters. That night was about 60 degrees outside, the heaters really work well. I ordered the garlic chicken pasta and ate every bite. It was good, chicken was crispy and it included two garlic bread. For the drink, i ordered IPA which turned out to be a double so more bang for the buck 😁. When you don't have any distractions (negative points) from socializing with your party, then this place is doing something right. Food was good, atmosphere was awesome, and a good balance of the server asking if we need refills/anything we need (without bothering us). Perfect!

Location! Location! Location!! Everything is better when you can have a place next to the ocean with space for a friends gathering to catch up and enjoy great beer and great food. Set up with first come first serve seating unless your party is over 25 peeps. We didn’t have to wait long to find a place to sit. Two stories with plenty of outdoor options and a few fire pits available. They utilize QR code to order which was quick. Service was great and food was on point. Super cool place👊🏼

Amazing food! Ordering online while dining in, is strange. There's less personal service for sure compared to having a dedicated server help us. I guess it's the new norm.

Ballast Point is one of my favorite breweries in Southern California. They serve many different styles of beers as well as a fun food menu. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating with amazing view of the ocean. If you have friends or family in town that are beer lovers then you got to take them here!!!!

Absolutely great place to have a drink and enjoy the atmosphere of the ocean. Outdoor sitting and great indoor seating too. You’re here for the atmosphere, and have a couple drinks, not necessarily for the elegant dining.

We had a fairly large group when we went to ballast point. The brewery staff was amazing and handled us all well. I was very satisfied with the chicken sandwich and the selection of beer. If you're looking for some great views, some good food and friendly service, Ballast point brewing in Long Beach is a good place to check out.

Beautiful views and seating during sunset. Inside and outside or at the top deck during weekdays are best! Not to mention the parking is free and ample during the weekdays

Very good service, beer is the choice drink, will serve some cocktails, but stick to the beer. No matter where you sit, you pretty much get a view of the boats coming back to moor or going out to sea. All around a lovely experience.

Great location for a Sunday brunch. Good food, selection of beers, and nice views of the harbor. No need to wait for a server, just scan table QR code and order from your phone. The beer and food arrived quickly and the wait staff was friendly.

Our go to place for any visitors, big group events, or just a casual date night. Great views, their food has actually gotten a lot better, and obviously great beer selection. My only critic is that they need more non-alcoholic drink options. Honestly surprised Ballast doesn’t make non alcoholic beers by now! Keep up with the times 😅

A wonderful Filipino/American bar The atmosphere and vibe here is very welcoming this place has an amazing clear view of the docks it is also free seating so you can sit anywhere from inside to the upstairs patio. Lots of drinks to choose from and delicious food to choose from if you love BBQ I recommend the Bisaya Style Pork Ribs and the delicious fish and chips. The service is wonderful servers are very attentive and every Wednesday is steak Wednesdays I highly recommend this place for anyone who loves to enjoy wonderful food and the view

I love this location. There is a great view indoor and outdoor. There are heaters outside. You scan the QR code for the menu and you order through your phone so modifications are limited. They offer beer, wine, soft drinks. Great Ceasar. My son loves the wings. They recently changed the recipe for the mussels and strong curry flavor which was okay for me. I miss their old recipe. It be nice if a server offered sharing plates and extra utensils. I did get up twice to get it myself but overall I have a great experience

Some of the greatest beer in all of Southern California now moves north to Long Beach! Great vibe right on the Marina with many tables facing out to the marina. They have a pretty decent menu with more shareable meals. Compared to the San Diego facility, they had a lot of similarities. But, the beer is the main reason anyone should go to Ballast Point. Incredible selection with some of the tastiest beers around!

Good food ✔️ Good vibes ✔️ Good service ✔️ Family friendly ✔️ Fantastic view✔️ Came back here on a weekend and it never disappoints. It’s spacious, airy high ceilings, 180 degree view of the water with an inside and outside area. I ordered the mussels in curry sauce and ribs and enjoyed both. Ordering and paying are both convenient by simply scanning the QR code on your table. Enjoy!!!

Great atmosphere and amazing view. We've been here twice already and tried different things each time on the menu and we weren't disappointed. I love the ordering concept with the QR code on the table, you order and pay right on your phone and the food gets delivered to the table. No need to wait to have your orders be taken and I think it's very efficient.

I love this place. The food is really good and beer is really good and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I recently went in to get some growlers filled and asked the guy helping me what was new and good. He recommended a watermelon brew I have not tried before saying, "it a little heavy and strong, but the watermelon flavor really mellows it out and makes it fell lighter than it is." The guy was spot on! You really can't argue with fresh beer to go.

Far exceeded my expectations. Finally....they got the food right. Steak nachos are outstanding. They have struggles with their kitchen in the past but have nailed it now. Excellent. Oh and the high west is excellent too

First time at Ballast Point Long Beach and left happy, hoppy:) My wife & I decided to have a National IPA Eve outing here on a Wednesday evening (we live closer to DT Disney location but we were going for ambiance). Always have loved everything I've tasted as far as Ballast Point beers, so wanted to try the only ones I haven't tasted and one of them being Aloha Sculpin. Had a 16oz of that and didn't disappoint. Id still pick the Grapefruit Sculpin over it (I've had better hazys). Also did a few 4oz tasters, Victory At Sea, Sextant Oat Stout, Wahoo and got ones I've had before Calico and Watermelon Dorado just to have a few more. Loved them all! Food paired well with the beers. Wife had the wings alongside an 8oz Fatham IPA and I went with a medium Burger, upgraded to the garlic fries mmmm. Nice tasting meat in the burger! We sat outside and loved the atmosphere & views. Such a perfect setting to hang after a long day at work. I can imagine this place getting so crowded around the weekends, so glad we went on a Wednesday evening. Parking wasn't bad either at the time we got in as there were a few open spots (did a Yelp wait-list while we were on our way). Some people might get turned off at the fact of ordering food/drinks via your phone from your table but I loved it! Super simple, easy, and convenient. Keep the tab open, order some more, they bring it out to you. They do have a 2 hour table limit and we slightly went over it and no one bothered us. By the time we closed out and left to go inside, the staff turned on some patio heaters and fire pit. It wasn't that cool out but still felt nice. Photos don't do justice, ambiance is absolutely on point here! Inside wasn't as crowded. We checked the store out before leaving and my wife bought a pretty nice looking Sculpin IPA shirt (we asked about it since one of the cool waitresses was wearing one) and I scored a good deal they are promoting for beer week. Got a case of 24 bottles of Grapefruit Sculpin for $25 to go! I love IPA day! Such an super awesome deal and made our day! Cheers to everyone at BP LB! Your staff is amazing as well!
