Really good bread like other reviews pointed out. I got the 10" Roast Beef and it had really good flavor. I also got a small Pasta Salad & small Fruit Cup. The Pasta Salad is excellent too & will try the fruit salad with the other half of my sandwich later. As others have pointed out it is on the pricey side for what you get portion wise, but the flavor is definitely there in a good way.

I had Santa Fe Importers for lunch two days in a row. The first day I tried the Italian sausage, peppers, and onions sandwich and it was delicious. The second day I tried the BBQ beef sandwich and it was delicious. They are 2 for 2 baby! Try them out, it’s simply delicious!

Used to love this place. It seems that it's under new management and the food and service is hit-or-miss. I've ordered the eggplant parmigiana a few times this year and the portions are much smaller than they used to be and some of the staff making sandwiches are very slow. I also observed one gentleman arranging the sausage and peppers with his fingers as he was preparing my sandwich. Please put some gloves on!

Never been so desappointed the bred was dry and it seems roast beef tasted like between pastrami and something else not roast beef the star is for the cashier and some of the help .. the food was mediocre... There I say it . Went from north Carson to long beach for them 10 sandwiches and all of them let me down ..... Never going that way .don't forget to he prices!!

I'm giving 5 stars because of Tuna sandwiche. It's one of the best tuna I have eaten so far in the area. It's fresh and tastes really good. Lots of hot and cold sandwich options. It also has lots of salad options. Staff is pretty helpful and quick service. There is not much parking space, but it is enough to have 4 to 5 cars parked.

Is the food was absolutely delicious it looks like a grocery store but then you see all the people waiting in line and everything is and they're not stingy with their meat sound like subway that might give you a spoonful of tuna on a 12-in sandwich this place it was almost too much for me or tuna I don't know about thief and all that but I had tuna and it was delicious

The pastrami and chicken parmigiana (special once a week) are my go to sandwiches from this local shop. Been here too many times to count. Excellent customer service and menu options.

Established in 1947, but I have enjoyed the outstanding food at this place for "only" 43 years. The quality is superb and the service friendly and efficient. I encourage everybody to visit while in Long Beach or to just make a special trip, the food is well worth it.

Having them sandwiches premade and just sitting on shelf like that is something else. I don’t know about that but I like to buy the Patisserie Hazelnut Cookies 😋 At the time I went, it wasn’t so busy. They have parking on the north and south side of the building, as well as on the street, east of the building. You’re also able to dine in too. Customer service is good, very organized, not too compact.

Used to come here all the time for Pastrami sandwich. It's been several years, not sure what happened. Pastrami = thick fatty and dry, bread = not fresh, pickets = sweet and nasty. My try something else if you happen to go. I will not be back.

Fantastic sandwiches, pictured is the large Special. Their Italian sausage hot sandwiches are great too. And I highly recommend getting a side of mushrooms and/or calamata olives. Don't try to park in the lot, especially at lunchtime. Park along Sante Fe Blvd or a side street, it's an easy walk and free.

Excellent submarines and hot entrees. Well stocked with wide variety of Italian and other European, and more groceries.

Authentic Italian Deli that serves great sandwiches and flavorful hot pasta dishes!! The food is awesome!! They also have large variety of Italian cookies and other delicacies. One of my go to favorites!! I’ll add pictures the next time I go.

Meatball sandwich ...plenty of meatballs in savory sauce...Pastrami...the meat was very flavorful...but more bread than meat...not a family sit down ...more like a trucker's lunch stop.... 50's style stools...plesant employees

Always friendly and helpful and I enjoy my food every time. We had the pastrami this week and it was so good 👍 the bread was soft and pillow like it was good and tasty. Give them a try and I promise you will go back. My husband Longshoreman crew loves ❤️ them

Out of all the years I've eaten at Sante Fe Importers, it been the best experience ever. However, today I have to give them 4 stars because the bread was dry and hard. It may have been a bad batch, but I was really surprised, since the food is usually amazing.

Great place to go for sandwiches! I had heard about this place for a while and I am so glad I finally tried it. I’ve had the pastrami and the salami sandwich and oh my goodness they were both delicious! Definitely recommend this place and I cannot wait to go again! My mouth waters just thinking about the sandwiches 🤤

Awesome everything. In and out in no time, with freshly prepared sandwich Ave pasta in hand. Great staff. Even when it gets super packed, they get you served super fast.

Hands down the best Italian good I have ever eaten!!! I ordered the Italian BBQ beef sub and was in heaven. I even ate it a couple hours after I picked it up, being slightly soggy and cold was still absolutely delicious!!!! The tortellini pesto pasta salad is a dish I could eat every day for the rest of my life. Customer service was great, overall very pleasant experience.
