Not a great hotel. Rooms weren’t bad but don’t let the online pictures fool you! I chose this hotel because of the advertised kiddie pool and water slide. After a long day of driving, I knew the kids would need it. Well, the kiddie area is maybe a 8 ft area, very small! The slide was not open and honestly I was glad, the metal stairs were fully rusted and the slide should not even be in operation ever again based on the look of it. Then breakfast was basically non-existent. There was no meat, no cinnamon rolls, no juice, milk was in a carton and shared vs. individual cartons. The pancake machine was down, so there was literally no options for kids! To top it off, it’s apparently a “pet friendly” hotel so when we got to our room we spent the first 30-45 minutes listening to a dog howl, yelp and bark because the owner left it alone in the room! Definitely not the quality we typically see from a Holiday Inn..

I've stayed here with family multiple times and had a great experience. They had a nice breakfast, I did not make it down in time this time. In the past we have payed 65-85/night. Recently I payed nearly $200. There was a women opening and looking in the rooms at 9:30am. No one was in any rooms next to me. I attempted to talk to her but unfortunately she did not speak English was I wanted to tell her I was not quite ready to check out. It's clean and in a good location and usually staff is very friendly.

Great hotel!!! Nice location and staff. Had issues with a/c not staying cool and water not staying warm. Was told they were upgrading their a/c units soon and replaced the water heater after our visit. Was happy with our stay! Definitely recommend. :)

Awesome hotel that was clean. On the first night we did see a Rocky Mountain tick which are common since we are in the region crawling on the shower curtain. The staff were able to switch us to a new room right away and were helpful every step of the way. The breakfast is also very good with a good amount of options of both hot and cold food. The showers came with shampoo conditioner and body wash

My kids and I stayed here. Everyone was kind, patient, and helpful. We had an amazing time playing in the pool, the kids especially loved the slides! Beds were comfortable, rooms quiet, breakfast was amazing! The kindness of the staff is what really stood out.

Maria, the manager is the most kind hearted, professional woman I have ever met! Maria and her staff worked very hard to make sure our stay was pleasant, clean and relaxing! Thank u all and keep up the good work!

Like others we chose this hotel for the kid friendly pool, which is not only not operating the slide they advertise - but the pool area in general is pretty disgusting. The hotel in general is on the lower end of the Holiday Inn you expect. A lot better options immediately nearby for very similar prices. I regret this choice. The staff were lovely, but I'm sure they are also nice at the other hotels.

Warning! The pool is not maintained properly. My kids got a terrible cough from swimming. The pool looked foggy and when a hotel employee checked the jacuzzi it was 110 degrees. We found out at breakfast that multiple guest we’re complaining about the same respiratory problems after swimming. I took my youngest child in to see a doctor 4 days after exposure. She is six years old and still has a severe cough and she doesn’t have a voice. I filled an incident report with the hotel along with many other guests.

The lobby smelled wonderful and looked well maintained. However, the front desk staff was the highlight of our stay. Shannon was incredibly welcoming, helpful, and thoughtful. She recommended us to a lovely restaurant, stores, and activities on Main street! She made sure our weekend stay was perfect even outside the hotel. The bed was super comfy, and the shower had great water pressure! We’ll definitely be recommending this hotel to any friends/family visiting the area.

The entrance of the hotel was welcoming and lobby smelled clean and looked clean. The rooms were very clean which was impressive and the bed was very comfortable. The employees we interacted with were all friendly and great. Breakfast had decent options. Now for the bad...We got the room and asked for extended checkout so we could use the pool the next day with our kids. Unfortunately, from 9:00AM until 11:30AM it was closed for water testing or something. This is the main reason we chose this hotel. Our boys were devastated and we left without using our extended checkout and had to drive for a bit before our 4 year old stopped crying. We couldn't use it the day of check in because we arrived later in the evening after dinner. It was sad and hopefully that doesn't happen often.

When my heater broke during the freeze last week I was panicked looking for an option for me and my six-year-old son. I called the front desk to see if they had any availability and Shannon was incredibly helpful in getting me a room that night over the phone. When we checked in she was so thoughtful during the process and welcoming to my son - making him giggle and even entertaining him while I was on the phone looking for emergency repairs (all while keeping a helpful eye on the front desk and even assisting other guest locate ride share services - the patience in helping older folks learn how to use uber can not be understated.) I don't know what notes they share but Maria knew my sons name the next morning when checking out and made sure we were all set to return home. Truly these two were life savers with their hospitality in the moment of crisis for a single dad - and that kind of warmth and thoughtfulness goes a long way.

Very good part was rooms, cleanliness and breakfast, the normal HIE. The fantastic part was the staff and pool area. They have a great waterside, hot tub and a nice warm pool. Definitely a place to bring kids along. I stay at HIE a lot and this is the best one I've been to!

Cleanliness is an after thought here. The breakfast area seems clean until you start looking in the corners. The pool area and hallways are in need of any cleaning, plus a deep clean. High touch areas are completely disgusting. They need to have a professional cleaning crew come in and do a deep clean so housekeeping has a base to start from.
