This
is
my
second
time
to
visit
McSwiggins
and
I
have
to
admit
I
was
left
fairly
disappointed
this
time
round.
(My
first
visit
a
few
years
ago
was
extremely
good
in
comparison)
and
would
just
described
it
as
an
ok
meal
but
nothing
more.
Firstly
it
was
a
really
hot
weekend,
and
our
table
area
was
extremely
stuffy
and
warm
with
very
little
to
no
air
con
at
our
table
area.
I
ordered
the
8oz
dry
aged
fillet
medium
well
as
my
main
course.
The
plate
was
extremely
bare
(As
you
will
see
from
my
photo)
and
it
was
only
the
steak,
a
side
portion
of
chips
and
"one"
small
skinny
carrot
on
top
of
a
puree
sauce
and
choice
of
other
sauce.
There
was
no
other
garnish
or
sides
included
and
these
all
had
to
be
ordered
separately
which
would
leave
the
meal
extremely
expensive.
(Onions,
mushrooms
etc)
Plus
they
don't
serve
french
fried
onions
on
the
menu
which
also
was
disappointing.)
We
weren't
even
provided
with
a
steak
knife
which
made
it
harder
to
cut
through
the
steak.
The
steak
itself
was
tender
enough
but
mine
was
also
very
unevenly
cooked.
It
was
well
done
one
side,
medium
on
the
other
and
actually
left
very
rare/blue
on
another
portion
of
the
steak
to
my
dismay.
Because
I
was
with
friends
I
didn't
want
to
make
or
cause
any
awkwardness/scene
about
sending
back
my
meal
but
I
wasn't
overly
happy
with
it.
The
waiter
was
nice
but
it
did
take
some
time
to
get
someone's
attention
certain
times
over
our
meal.
Overall
for
a
€35
steak
I
was
not
that
happy
and
felt
quite
let
down
by
the
experience.
I
must
admit
I
would
be
a
bit
apprehensive
to
go
back
again
after
my
latest
experience.
