Excellent food. The best of all the Indian restaurants I have had. Great hospitality! The food was delivered to the table on time. Staffs are really sweet. The best dessert was Rasmalai, among many. Malai kofta, paneer butter masala, mango milkshake are other delicious items on the menu that must be tried.

This is some of the best Indian food I've ever had... and that's a bold statement. The service is top-notch as well. I don't know how such a delicious Indian restaurant ended up in the suburbs of Louisville Kentucky. Come have a meal and you'll see for yourself.

good but not great. our experience... 1) some kind of appetizer would have been nice while awaiting order (other Indian Restaurants do this); we were given a large pitcher of water. 2) Chicken Curry & Kodi Igguru (similar to Chicken Curry but adds Chilis and some different spices) both smelled and tasted burnt. 3) FYI - Butter Chicken reminded us of Marsala but much sweeter, flavored with butter, raisins, and nuts; if you prefer savory over sweet, give this a pass. 4) portions were not small, but they certainly weren't generous. 5) we ordered Indian Heat 3&4; however, other than the actual chilis already in the Kodi Igguru, the dishes were not spicy. 6) didn't receive particularly great service, but no one was overtly rude... * a) only contact after food arrived was after flagging waiter to request additional rice, * b) our clean appetizer plates were immediately removed from the table, not because we didn't have the room, but because (it appeared) they didn't want us to get them dirty, so they could be reused without washing, * c) we had to request and pay our check at the bar toward the back. CONCL: probably won't be back, but who knows... we may give Bombay another try.

I have tried so many Indian restaurants, so I admit that BOMAY GRILL is one of the BEST. Great service since you inter since you leave. There is someone asks you every a few mints if want something. The food was serve hot, fresh, and so delicious. Prices kind of high.

We really enjoyed our dinner here at Bombay Grill! First of all, their menu is huge, and they have an entire page of vegetarian meals (a lot of which could be made vegan). We got the Aloo Gobi and the Vegetable Jalfrezi, that were both made vegan for us. The spices were perfect and we both could not stop commenting on how good everything was. We each got some soup to start with, which was perfect for the cold evening and flavored very well. I feel like the prices here are great for the quality of food and service we received! The portions were also big enough that we had enough for leftovers! Definitely will be back!

Good indian restaurant I hope the prices will be revised because they are a bit expensive. But all in all, I recommend visiting the restaurant

Omg everything is so delicious! I had the butter chicken and the chicken Tika Masala and they were so delicious. The Naan was so crispy and amazingly delicious. It was all such a great lunch, the price was very good for the quality.

Ordered the masala dosa and lamb curry. Masala was fine. Dosa texture feels like the dough has not been fermented. Masala, chutney and sambar are ok. Lamb curry was also fine but the lamb was a little chewy and smelled different. A decent place for Indian food. Nothing is bad but nothing is great either.

Bombay Grill was a great treat for everybody in our party. We decided to order different entrees and then; share and share alike. We ordered Onion Samosa, Chicken Seekh Kebab, Lamb Korma (my favorite), Vegetable Biryanis, Chicken Vindaloo, garlic and plain naan. The entrees arrived with an abundance of Basmati and white rice. We also enjoyed several condiments including Lime Pickle. The food arrived hot and in very good portions. The wine section was limited, but you couldn't beat the prices. They were the best I have seen in a very long time in a restaurant. The service went above and beyond. The atmosphere was great; cozy. Bollywood was playing on the television. I don't know what more you would want for an exquisite Indian dining experience. Enjoy!

Your consistently good food keeps us coming back for more whenever we are in Louisville! This last time we truly enjoyed Chicken 65, Poori, Saag Paneer, Naan and Chicken Biriyani! So many more items that we have enjoyed previously! Dosa, Idly, Vada, various curries……..

The food and service were excellent, as usual. In my opinion, they have the best Indian food in town! I highly recommend the Chicken Tikka Masala and Garlic Naan. My husband also got the Rasam soup and he said it was spicy and delicious. I love that you can choose your heat level here since I can't eat very spicy foods but my husband loves things extra spicy. Definitely a must try!

One of the best Indian restaurants ever in the United States. The quality of food, it's taste and it's presentation was so delightful. The vegetarian options are wonderful, especially the curries. Desserts we're amazing as well. Their rasmalai is from another planet! ❤️ In addition to the amazing food, the service was just unbelievable. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. The speed at which such good food was served is a benchmark on its own! This was one of the most enjoyable restaurant experiences I've had in the recent past. Thanks to Bombay grill for that!

Fantastic food! They nailed every single thing ordered! The flavors were perfection. Heat was brilliant, the mixed appetizer we got were fresh, hot and jam packed full of flavor. The staff was very professional and friendly. We were well cared for and very well fed. These are ample proportions, we had left overs. Worth every penny. The Decor is not fancy, perhaps a bit dated, but with a kitchen this good, who cares. It was clean. This was authentic Indian cuisine. We can’t wait to go back. Highly recommend.

I haven’t been able to find excellent, authentic Indian food since I traveled overseas, this place is it! Excellent food and great service! Recommend 100%. The Gobi Manchurian is my favorite!

I had the most delightful dining experience at Bombay Grill, the Indian restaurant in Louisville! The star of the show was undoubtedly their mouthwatering butter chicken. The flavors were incredibly rich and perfectly balanced, making it a truly unforgettable dish. The welcoming ambiance and attentive staff added to the overall enjoyment of the evening. I'm eagerly looking forward to my next visit to Bombay Grill to savor more of their delicious offerings. This restaurant comes highly recommended for anyone seeking a fantastic Indian dining experience!

Indian food is known for its spices, have tried Indian food from different restaurants all across the country, and this is the first place where they have a 0spice level, what’s the use of having Indian food with 0spice,not at all authentic ,and the biryani is also just tossed in the pan and prepared, service and decor was ok.

This is hands down our favorite Indian restaurant in Louisville! The quality never waivers whether we get take out or eat in. My favorite thing is the chicken tikka masala and the garlic naan but we have never had a bad dish here. I highly recommend it. Side note: the blue lights were reflecting on the plates in the picture and creating spots that aren’t really there.

Flavor profile is best of all Indian restaurants that I’ve had in Louisville. Service is great- and they’ve been able to accommodate special requests. Vegetarian menu is extensive!! They can prepare for a more mild pallet or can recommend dishes that are more regional Indian dishes with intense flavors. I’ve never had a bad visit, and always leave ready to come back again.

For the second time we order from the catering menu. The first time we order we got good food and service. This second time we order we were giving courtesy of the house our favorite Mango Lassi drink and also after meal seeds to take for our party. The manager listened carefully to us and verified our order, which appreciated very much. She had a big sincere beautiful smile. Excellent service

The absolute BEST Indian food you will find in the area. They never let you down with their quality and service. My wife and I have been coming here for years and years and no matter where we travel, any Indian restaurant we try always gets compared to Bombay, and they can never hold a candle to it. Thank you Bombay Grill for delivering amazing food and amazing service!

Love the place and flavors, I prefer here rather than going somewhere else for Indian cuisine. I personally in love with bombay spring onion dosa, veg biryani and mango milkshake. Service upto the mark highly recommended.

👍 Service was great ; chicken & pork tender & tasty. However macaroni & cheese came & looked like it was from the day before heated over. Mashed potatoes with gravy were substituted. Brownie & bourbon bread pudding were tasty.
