The place is pretty but the staff are constantly coming over every minute to try to ask for your order and clear the table. This was a very interrupted lunch, and even on our phones in phone calls, they will ask you to decide what to order. The wine tasted like it has been kept too long in the bottle. The prawn risotto I got - prawns were fresh and sweet but risotto was overcooked and bland. Definitely a place to be seen but not for good service or good food.

Atmosphere was amazing. Eating while watching the kitchen was a different experience. Our waiter ( he was speaking English I forgot to ask his name but a gentleman from Albania) was perfect and helpfull with the menu. This place could best place in Lyon. Thank you.

Such good food from a top rated chef (RIP Paul). The experience alone was amazing! I have been several times with groups of different sizes. This restaurant is capable of intimate experiences and unforgettable group soirées. Set alongside the Sôane with beautiful outside lounging in summer and cozy seating in winter lake it a must visit Lyon restaurant in all seasons.

A huge restaurant, busy but didn’t feel like it was. Top quality service and food, as you would expect from a man of Mr Bocuse’ legendary status as a chef (RIP). You should visit if you’re in Lyon! Have the waffles to finish.

Tasty food and good dish sizes. The restaurant is quite big and offers space for big groups. Service was okay and we had a good time overall. The lobster was a daily menu dish and tasted great!

The food and wine and great, as you’d expect. But the service just isn’t up to the same standard. Our family is Franco-Scottish, and bilingual, so when we ask for something it’s perfectly clear - that isn’t the issue. However, we waited for 15/20 minutes between ordering and having to ask again for our wine, and then again for more water later in the meal. And service is completely perfunctory, with little charm or pleasure. Drinks and water were not proposed at the offering of dessert. We had to get up out of our seat to ask for that, too. And time between courses was between 30-40 minutes - we arrived for a brasserie lunch at 1220 and left at 1530. It’s a shame - but for €280 for four, and the name Bocuse on the door, you can expect better. I travelled to Lyon for a couple of nights pretty much for this meal and I’m leaving really disappointed.

Had a wonderful dinner tonight. Meals were perfect, waiters perfect. It was crowded of people but all waiters gave their best to arrange everything. Place is tremendous, very well decorated Reservation is fully required. Special thanks to Mattea, she did a perfect job, always smiling and with a perfect professionalism. She enjoyed our dinner. So thanks a lot a million times.

Even though we speak limited French they made us feel very welcome. The food, the atmosphere and the service we're all 5 stars.

Wonderful experience to dine at Paul bocuse's brasserie in Lyon! Good selection of menu and excellent wine collection! You can go high or low in this causal yet contemporary place! Make reservation, because they are busy all the time.

Nice atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff, delicious food. Had to send my Fillet of Beef, Filet de Bouf back ,but I'm difficult, Iike it well done. No complaints though, the meat was still tender and excellent taste. Oh yea the foie gras was delicious also, with apricot sauce, and Balsamic syrup drizzled on the plate with it. If you don't know the history of Paul Bocuse, and his restaurants do a search online. You find a great story about a man that was told as a boy that he wouldn't amount to anything. Lol ,fooled the naysayers for sure.

Very nice dinner, amazing, friendly and fun staff. I had oysters, coquilles St. Jaques and the vacherin as desert! I would come again!

Terrible service. Can't speak for the quality of the food because we walked out after 30 minutes and only ordering /receiving a hot milk (served tepid). Rude staff. QR code menu (which I hate in the base case) very difficult to read on a phone screen because the text is too small. Poor drinks selection for drivers (no non-alcoholic beers). That's if you can find the drinks list, which is hidden under 'Tapas and Appetizers' in the online menu. Waiter poked at my phone to take me to the right place as if I was the idiot. It's very rare we walk out of a restaurant but this was truly unwelcoming.

Beautiful place and elegand! Very polite and helpful stuff. Big place but the stuff make it work. Most of the food is tasty but i expected more of a restaurant with such a name.

I have dined at fine restaurants across USA, and Europe, this was among the worst I have experienced. We ordered a Caeser and an 'ancienne' tomato salad. Tomatoes were great, Caesar tasted at best, ordinary, dressing tasted bottled, some lettuce was brown, no anchovies, tasteless chicken we did not order. I ordered a Martini, I doubt that one had ever been assembled in their bar. We ordered wine, returned twice, I had a Bordeaux, €20, pricy at €10. And I have many years experience with French and California wines, I would never serve this vintage. I will never understand the reviews I read about this restaurant, it's nothing but a food factory, totally unacceptable, especially for Lyon. We complained to the maitre d'hote, all he could do was argue about our criticism, I doubt he has any idea about great food, properly prepared and served. I could actually introduce him to the French Laundry, but I doubt he knows even one three star Michelin restaurant, I know several-

👍 Nice experience in this new restaurant. Gentle staff, there is a nice feeling. I recommend the salads which are super tasty and creative. Could not experience the fresh juice as the restaurant seems to have some teething problems but I will come back in a few weeks to try more.
