Maison Hotel Lyon was in a perfect location for exploring Lyon and enjoying a 'home away from home' while visiting that very vibrant city. My husband and I recently stayed in a one bedroom plus side livingroom/kitchen for five nights. We were within walking distance to all the key things to do in Lyon and Jean Charles took the time to walk us through the map he provided and then forwarded us a comprehensive list of bakeries, small wine bars, restaurants, grocery store, and other 'home away from home' amenities available in the neighborhood. The suite we stayed in was spotless with a very comfortable bed, spacious bathroom, elegant decor, a little courtyard and everything one could ever need in a kitchen while travelling. There wasn't a oven but there were all new appliances including a good sized refrigerator, induction cooktop, dishwasher, washing machine, electric tea kettle, coffee maker, good size sink and all the dishes, cutlery, pots and pans. Sometimes it's the little extras that make a difference and those included strong wifi signal, good quality towels, several mirrors, very creative storage space, and lots of hangers:). The neighborhood is active with many people of all ages going about their daily lives yet surprisingly quiet. Jean Charles responded immediately to any texts I sent him and was always available if needed. But we never really needed anything as there was a lot of thought put into creating such nice accomodations. MHL is just right for people who enjoy exploring a city and living like a local. We look forward to visiting again!

We had a bright and spacious apartment with a washer and full kitchen. The apartment was very comfortable with good wifi and the location was great. I would definitely recommend MHL and would stay here again. Jean-Charles was friendly and responsive.

Our experience started even before we arrived to France as we were booked to arrive in December but due to outbreak had to change at the last minute. Jean-Charles was very compassionate and attentive and agreed to change the dates for us and ensured us all will be ok. We arrived in late Feb. and it was by far the full and real French experience we hoped for. Location is the real Lyon City. 2 minutes walk from Metro, 15 from Paul Bocuse Market and the city Centre. The Room was huge (Le loft) and decorated to make if warm and Cousy. We had an outstanding experience in Lyon thanks to MHL and Jean Charles and we would be happy to visit them again.
