Cute cats and good tea, but I had the worst tart of my whole life (the berry one)... I made my friends take a bite and they could not even swallow it. The crust was undercooked, still doughy and I’m pretty sure it was a health hazard. When I told the staff, they did not do anything about it and even made me pay for it- in fact they discredited all our opinions by saying the taste was just “too french” for us and the waitress said she tried it and found nothing wrong 😂?

The cats are adorable of course, but otherwise this place was disappointing. On weekends you are required to order from a set menu (hot drink + orange juice + pastry) and will not make exceptions even if they don't offer any vegan desserts (even if you don't want a dessert you'll still have to pay for it). They said that they don't want to compete with the other cat bar (which was closed when we went, thus the only reason we ended up at this one). However, they wouldn't lower the price or make any exceptions if you didn't want one of their pastries (due to dietary restrictions). The tea was otherwise good, but I would not return. Some customers are very respectful, others more pushy & insisting to touch them - everyone is different but I felt bad for those cats. What on paper can feel like a good concept felt to me a bit sad. 3/ one good thing I have to give them is the tea selection.

Came in on a Saturday after having missed out on a table the day before. It was lively but far from busy, the back area had many empty seats. We were told by an otherwise friendly waiter that we could only stay if we bought a drink AND a pastry which was a bit odd but we had been looking forward to trying the place out so we agreed. We were brought to a table in the back and when we opened the menu the cheapest option available was a drink and a cookie for 10€. This pricing, the forced pastry and the location of our table made us reconsider dining at the cafe and after sitting at the table for only 3 minutes we decided to leave and come back the next day. When we explained the situation and our plan to return to the staff, one staff member in particular told us that this was unacceptable and rudely explained that he should charge us some undefined fee for taking up their time and threatened to do just that if we repeated this behavior. Id like to give this man the benefit of the doubt and chalk it up to a cultural misunderstanding or a language barrier, however, there is no mention of any such policy on the website or at the restaurant in written or verbal form and I have personally never heard of anyone having to pay a fee for changing their mind about dining at an establishment before having received any food, service or even free water. It is safe to say that we won’t be returning. The cats are cute though.
