A very pleasant invitation to leisure activities along the Rhône, from Parc de la Feyssine to Parc de Gerland, almost 10 km. Instead of parking! Leisure activities: games for children, cycling, jogging, rest (long chairs), bodybuilding, tanning, picnics,... a whole range of ways to have a good time. The other side of the coin: a lot of people on sunny days and incivility: motor vehicles (forbidden), rubbish left on the grass and/or on the paths, and/or in the play areas. But the cleaning teams do their best in the morning to find nature, the place, clean.

This place would be amazing, but the large number of homeless people living here overshadows the impression.

The Rhône and its surroundings can be taken for the quays of the Seine Paris, but not developed the negative point, made you want a good read under a beautiful sun or whatever!!!😉

The beach in Lyon offers a magnificent setting, a real escape in the heart of the city. The peaceful view does not lead you to believe that you are in Lyon. However, I noticed a deterioration in the atmosphere with less pleasant attendance and an increase in waste.

Formerly little known by the people of Lyon, this passage allowed a pleasant stroll and an unparalleled place of relaxation in the city. Today, the excessive attendance of these beaches in the summer brings its share of incivility: random clearing giving way to pollution, noisy environment and so on. Too bad, it's a place with incredible potential for charm, with certainly development possibilities to guarantee the safety of swimmers (it's about time the town hall disdains making the Rhône, at least part of it, swimmable for its residents increasingly faced with heat peaks) but which is unfortunately the victim of the disrespect of its users

Very nice to do by bike (Vélo’v) or on foot, you can stroll along the quays or very close to the Rhône. It usually has few people. It’s a quiet and relaxing walk.

An ideal place to get away from it all, small clean sandy beaches you almost forget that you are in Lyon! The only problem is that swimming is not recommended.

I really like this forest place, you almost forget being in a metropolis. The water so clear with its landscape is just magnificent.
