Possibly the best restaurant experience we have had. The very dedicated 5min sit down run through of the menu and dietary requirements was special. The tips of bars to visit afterwards, great. The banter and good vibes they must maintain night after night... Phenomenal. Honestly speaks to them being passionate owners who love what they do. The food was remarkable especially the cold tomato soup. Just something special with the mustard ice cream. Cannot recommend enough and yes, this is my most gushy review ever, it was that good!

Terrific food, even better service. The staffs at the restaurant were very friendly and explained the menu patiently. Having lunch here was the highlight of our Lyon trip and we will definitely come back again in the future.

Superb in every respect, from the very friendly welcome and explanation of the restaurant and the menu, very tolerant of our inadequate French, we felt more than comfortable in this wonderful bistro. Marvellous characteristics of every dish were the extremely clever balance of flavours, which saw the primary ingredients stand out, perfectly complemented by extremely clever and subtle accompanying flavours. We were particularly glad we opted for Frazarin’s wine matching, which showed great knowledge of the wines and delivered us a selection of perfectly matched wines for each dish. The service was interested, perfectly timed, confident and very friendly. It’s only the really good restaurants which can generate a sense of well-being in the way Frazarin so quickly did, and sustained. We left busily planning a return visit.

The owner is very friendly and eager to present the concept behind the restaurant and the various dishes. I'd suggest you let him select the wines as he did an excellent pairing with the food. I'd also suggest that you come early as the place got rather busy later in the evening.

The friendliest restaurant staff ever! The owners are absolutely fantastic to have a chat with. Both drinks & food is thoroughly and carefully selected. IT'S DELICIOUS!! I can't recommend this enough. It's amazing!

Super lovely guys who offer the best service available. We ordered a glass of white wine and we had the chance to taste multiple before making a decision. They have a small menu but you taste the freshness! Don’t hesitate, just go eat here! It will be worth it!

Dinner at Franzarin was a highlight of our trip to Lyon. The food was creative and exceptional - especially the tuna entree and the gnocchi - and the service was amazing. Everything was done with such care and it felt like we were eating at a friend’s house. My sister and brother-in-law had spent the week before in Paris and said that Franzarin was the best meal they’d had in France. I’ll certainly be back and recommend to all.

We ate a delicious meal and received excellent service the other night at Farzarin! The oxtail ravioli, braised pork and baked apple desserts were highlights of our meal. Highly recommend. The owners were so friendly!!

With every bite, i said "0h my god this sooo good". A true pleasure to have had the opportunity to dine here. Food is well prepared and creatively presented. From the first course to desert - exceptional!!! The owners takes plenty of time to describe each menu item. I felt like I was having dinner with my family, they are so friendly. Stumbled on this new restaurant while searching online. Ordered at my airbnb. my favorite was this dish called arancini, some delicious risotto with blue cheese on bread, this was full flavor explosion! had to take a quick shot before eating the last one. Also had some large spaghetti with fenel and sausage, fenel really gave it an interesting twist. Will order again, highly recommended. Also, very kind person on the phone that spoke perfect english! I have to say that this was the best meal I have had in a long time...by a long shot! Every course was a gastronomic delight. The wine pairing was flawless AND the 2 wonderful proprietors have charisma and energy to entertain and guide you through an unforgettable evening with them. This is a little gem ! Really good seasonal food , great wine and fantastic service . The menu is small and changes regularly and is totally freshly done and my god you can taste it ! Highly recommended !
