Pros: - Looks beautiful - You can take lovely pictures from that bridge - Very bridgy - I mean you have to cross the river somehow... - Stony stone Cons: - The pavement is a bit narrow when the eastern part is lifted for the ships - Watch out for the scooters or as they call them there, the bromfietsen. They mostly drive like they are on drugs that are even illegal in the Netherlands.

This is mostly Netherland’s oldest stone bridge. Though half portion was broken due to a disaster, but later on it was connected. Now it’s a charming foot bridge in Maastricht,Netherland. To get full view if this bridge please go to the nearest two bridges situated both side of it. This is a must watch place in Maastricht. You can know long history about this city and this bridge. Picture perfect place. Also there are lots of places to seat beside the river, from where you can watch this one clearly. Highly recommended 👍

The best time to visit the bridge or Maastricht in fact is early morning or in the evening when the sun is at the right angle.

I love watching this bridge at night. Beautiful view. It is so old, that it saw many happenings in life. One of which was its bombing during the WWII. You may see the newer part as a proof. This is the bridge that every tourist crosses when walking from the station direction centre Maastricht.

This is the city my friend studied in 2017. And he told me that I must come to this bridge and took pics and sent them to him. I could feel how he loves this city.

This bridge, dating back to the 13th century, holds a piece of history. It crosses the Maas River, and it's really old and beautiful. We walked on it and saw the river and the city. It was a sunny day, and the view was fantastic. The bridge has a special charm with its historic stone arches. It's a must-visit when you're in Maastricht.

Pretty bridge that connects you with the other side of the river. I wish the sidewalks were wider, but overall, it's a great bridge to walk or ride your bike over!

The old passage between the sides of the city. you can climb it via a steel stairs and then enjoy the view of the river, the floating and passing boats and the restaurants on both sides.

Magical Maastricht is truly a recommendation. Christmas market was amazing. Parking was quiet harder if you come late. So make sure that you will be there Early.
