Been here a couple of times primarily because they are pet friendly. I can bring my dogs whenever I dive. Stairs can be challenging for some. Rooms needs to be updated. Dive wise, they have gear rentals, spacious rinse station, and a house reef! I recommend their Liempo and Turon! Staff are friendly and helpful.

cheap room rates w/ free breakfast..food on their resto cheap and reasonably priced, all the food thatvwe ordered it tastes good by the way..did not try snorkeling cause the water is rough the 3 days we are there.but luckily they have a very nice infinity pool we spent most of our time at the pool cause is not ideal to swim on the beach cause the water is rough..definitely we will be back highly recommended.

Here’s my take after post week of lodging over at Planet Dive. I’ve heard quite a handful of positive review of this resort and finally made some time to come over with a group of friends. The staffs were friendly and quite attentive! Their rooms are quite good too (if you’re comparing to the dive resorts of this standard), of course don’t expect 5-star hotel expectations because if you are then this isn’t the place for you lol. My only disappointment is that the toilets do not have ‘fresh-drinkable’ water, and the water pressure of the bathroom showers was so-so. (My advice is to rinse yourself off after your dives/water activities by the dive centre before anything. Food isn’t the best of the best, but for what you get, it’s pretty decent and palatable. I’m Malaysian, so we’re quite picky with food lol. Of course most of us came here to dive, kudos to our DMs Alan and Jason for being so friendly, helpful and made the overall dive experience a blast. They are very experienced guides and could spot the things you’ll brush by without realising at most of the dive sites. Plenty of water containment area for you to rinse your wetsuits and dive equipment, and also a few dedicated areas to rinse off your camera equipment and anything sensitive. There’s also a dedicated room for you too rig up/down your cameras too. Overall, it’s definitely a place I would love to come back to lodge and dive as there’s so many more dive sites to discover and explore! Definitely a ‘will-return-again’ dive resort for me!

Light Green room is the best and I would have given 5 stars if the air conditioning did not switch off by itself constantly. Chef was great, a lot of food and always tasted like in a 5-star restaurant. Tung hoon noodle with shrimp was our request for daily breakfast. Desserts were also good! Dive guide Herbert was very good at spotting critters.

If you are a scuba diver, this is a place you will enjoy. The dive masters and instructors are pretty good. They exude confidence, are knowledgeable about dive sites and are concerned about safety. The rooms are simple and clean. The bathrooms are modern. Don't expect TV sets. There is a friendly vibe in this place. The management encourages interaction between guests. Food is pretty good.

I will always remember this place as the place where I learned SCUBA diving and the place that introduced me to the wonderful world under the sea. Thanks to our SCUBA instructor, Mr Alfie Santos, resort representative, Mr Julius and the other resort reps who made our stays always pleasant and exciting. The only thing I hope they'll consider in the future is accepting card payments 😀 because of this writing they only accept cash payments.

In the realm of budget-friendly getaways, finding a resort that excels in both accommodation and service can be akin to discovering a rare treasure. This particular establishment, with its harmonious blend of affordability and excellence, emerges as a delightful surprise in the world of hospitality. Starting with the accommodations, the resort's rooms stand as a testament to the notion that one need not break the bank to experience comfort and elegance. The rooms are not merely functional spaces but have been thoughtfully designed to provide a sense of relaxation and rejuvenation. Immaculately maintained, they boast an impressive level of comfort, proving that luxury need not be synonymous with exorbitant prices. A solid 5/5 for the outstanding value offered. The resort staff effortlessly embodies the essence of hospitality, proving that genuine warmth and attentiveness are not reserved for high-end establishments alone. From the moment of arrival, the attentive and accommodating demeanor of the staff is evident, making every guest feel like a valued member of the resort's family. Their dedication to ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience is nothing short of commendable, earning them another 5/5. Dining at the resort is a journey of culinary delight that surpasses the expectations one might have for a budget-friendly getaway. The well-prepared meals, infused with flavors that tantalize the taste buds, elevate the dining experience above the average fare typically encountered in this price range. While not reaching the heights of gourmet cuisine, the food still manages to leave a lasting impression that complements the overall stay. For those with an affinity for underwater exploration, the resort's offering takes a unique twist. With a stunning reef just steps away from the resort's doorstep, freedivers are in for a treat that sets this establishment apart from its peers. The opportunity to immerse oneself in the beauty of the underwater world, right at the resort's front, is an undeniably captivating proposition that adds a layer of allure to the entire experience. In sum, this resort emerges as a beacon of excellence within its affordability spectrum. With accommodations that rival those of higher-priced options, a staff that embodies the spirit of genuine hospitality, and cuisine that transcends the ordinary, it's an excellent choice for those seeking value without compromise. Add to this the underwater wonderland that awaits freedivers, and you have a winning combination that truly sets this resort apart.

Pros - Amazing house reef: Boats from other places make trips in front of the resort because there’s just so much to see underwater. -Beautiful lounging deck -Pool for nondivers Cons -Not ideal for seniors because of the steps -Toilet in the room didn't have exhaust -Meal inclusions were not communicated clearly.

I didn t stay at the resort but I did dive w planet dive and what to.say? We saw frogfish, countless nudibranchs, pipefish and even an octopus with her eggs...my DM Alan (sorry I asked u 3 times the names but probably I got it wrong) was perfect from the beginning to the end. He got a crazy eye for small things! Totally recommended if you are in anilao.

The room is good, good size, clean. Food is good. Staffs are good. The only problem I had was with the toilet. There appearantly something wrong with the piping. The toilet smells sewage. I was in room yellow1, it smelled bad. My friends were in yellow 2. That room smelled fine. Usually I would give 2 stars with this kind of problem (bathroom was not comfortable), but the food and the service were quite good. I hope they will fix this before my next visit.

Love this place. The service is excellent, food hearty with big servings-perfect after a hungry day out in the water. Aircon is cold and lots of places to shower/wash your gear etc by the beach. Very clean but of course since you’re by the beach some insects are inevitable specially tiny little black ants. This time we brought our 1 yo and they actually have a nanny service. They also gave us stale bread so we could fish feed out front - baby girl was fascinated. When she got cold we took her to the pool- nice and warm with a broad shallow ledge she could walk on. True, lots of steps but that’s with all the Anilao resorts and the staff are more than happy to help you out anyway. Definitely good value for money. And that glorious view 🌅🧡🧡🧡

Mixed experience. This is a super nice and tranquil resort. It is very well set up for diving, and in a beautiful location. We have been there three times and liked it a lot. But the last time we visited, at the end, we were charged more than we had anticipated.

Good affordable food and lodging. The whole resort is clean and well maintained. If you like to dive or snorkel, just infront of the resort is a dive site called twin rocks.

Would definitely recommend this dive centre. Place was great from the word go. The room was clean and spacious, the staffs were friendly and attentive and our dive master was very experienced and knew just where to bring us for what we requested to see. They prepared towels and hot drinks on the boat for in between dives and on the second day, after our dive master see that I was really cold during surface interval, arranged for hot towels! Talk about service. Oh, and the meals at the hotel was great too. Every meal was superb. And on our last day, we had to leave fairly early to reach Manila on time for our flight and the kitchen packed us breakfast to go. All in all, had a great first trip to anilao and much of it was attributed to planet dive!

😠 This resort is a trap! 252 steps (literally) going down and you have no choice but to stay where you are because you have to go up 252 steps again. Imagine that! Catch is that they don't indicate that in their website to give warnings that seniors and those that's not too healthy will find it diffic...
