Wanted somewhere a bit different to stay with my little sister for her birthday while we enjoyed a city break. We loved it. Sophisticated, beautifully decorated boutique hotel with so many thoughtful additions. We particularly enjoyed the evening service - bed prepped, low lights on, blind down when we came back in the late evening! The breakfast was lovely - cappuccino, chocolate croissant, muesli and yoghurt, banana and freshly squeezed orange juice... served on a tray in bed! The facilities were all immaculately clean and there was plenty of room. The bed was very comfortable and despite it being a busy Monday night, we had absolutely no noise trouble at all. Very peaceful and lots of fun. Would definitely stay again.

Nice hotel, great location, comfy beds but lacks attention to detail. No lift so please be aware. Dangerous wiring that doesnā€™t conform to regulations, heater not fixed to the wall. Thereā€™s no point in giving novelty bags of sweets to your guests if you canā€™t get the basics right. Pre-authorisation of Ā£100 on check in, had a drink at the bar but wasnā€™t able to get a receipt on checkout ā€œas I had booked through Expediaā€ which is just nonsense.

Came into Manchester for a day of shopping and dinner. We decided to stay over and my husband found the hotel. Itā€™s absolutely perfect. Standard rooms are small but staff are amazing and the little details are perfect. Prosecco and nibbles in the room. Good toiletries. Amazing breakfast bag. Would 100% recommend.

We stayed in a standard room which was lovely but small. Suitable I think for a short stay. I understand there are bigger rooms which I would try if I returned. Lovely friendly staff very welcoming complementary prosecco on arrival. All in all a very nice boutique hotel in a good location

A very charming boutique hotel filled with little surprises that make you feel welcome from the recommendations to the friendly welcome and accommodating staff and lovely greetings. If you ever go to Manchester, stop by this place. You wont be disappointed.

From entering the hotel to a very warm welcome, and seeing how beautiful it was as soon as me and my sister walked in we knew our stay would be a very pleasant one. We stayed in the deluxe king room, it was gorgeous inside, smelled lovely and clean, free hot beverages served to our room were just a phone call away, absolutely excellent service, definately coming back to stay again.

I stayed in Manchester for a couple of nights whilst on a work conference in the city and coming back to the hotel very pleasant and relaxing to say the least. The vibe here is not to posh, not to casual but just right which I found comfortable and accommodating. You can find most amenities close by. Everything you need is in walking distance and staff and service are fantastic. I highly recommend this hotel.

Cow Hallow is a great place. I keep trying to stay there every time I return to Manchester, but it's book. Good for business!

Absolutely amazing place! Staff members are so helpful, friendly and nice. And the bed.....that bed wont let you go! So comfy and soft - a keeper! :) Had a nice getaway with my fiance in there and the atmosphere was everything you wish for a little break from the real world. This place paint a magical picture of being somewhere else.... little windows with wooden shuts gives you a feeling of Spain.... Bed and the bedding gives you a feeling of old England - style and grace...Place is covered with mirrors and vintage details - make you feel like you are in the castle even if its small. Green areas - plants all over - you feel closer to the nature - lobby has pillows on the floor - makes you feel cozy. And the bar! Wow! With Nicky as a bar keeper - all your dreams come true :) This place is not like a domestic and standard hotel. - this place feel like a home where Sadine welcomed us with such kindness :)

Stayed here multiple times now, and will continue to do so when in Manchester. Great location, incredible staff and perfect, clean rooms. The whole feel is just spot on šŸ‘Œ The bar is great too, and breakfast in bed is the cherry on top.

Iā€™m sorry that is the worst experience of my life I came from Dubai and just get out simply my booking was for 2 adults and I received the reply that we canā€™t accommodate 3 persons which is my daughter, i replied on the same email but it went to booking .com they didnā€™t forward my email. My family was in reception almost 30 minutes after traveling so long and my daughter saw all that. The option they gave u two can stay and one book other hotel I told I can adjust my kid and pay extra amount not an issue but they simply denied. Thanks you your policies wins human doesnā€™t matters for you ppl Iā€™m very disappointed and itā€™s a shame for me came from Dubai and this is how u ppl treated.

What charming accommodation. The check in and out process was very efficient and the room service was excellent (such as the breakfast). The room however was perfect. Absolutely loved it. So comfortable and quirky. I would definitely love to come back and stay here when i return.

Brilliant staff and good location but rooms are tiny and was overall just not impressed for the price point. Under bed super dirty in the tiny room and little things ā€œfree slippersā€ no where to be found. No body wash left in shower. Hair by the water they supply in room.

Excellent weekend stay in Manchester at the Cow Hollow Hotel. Small quirky hotel with some lovely touches. Free tea/coffee is a great idea. Staff really friendly and engaging. Jaseera was especially helpful. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Lovely small hotel in a great location. Super breakfast delivered to your door and the complimentary Prosecco and bedtime cookies are nice touches. Bar/reception area a nice setting for pre dinner drinks. Friendly, welcoming staff. Would be very happy to return. Highly recommended

My recent stay at this hotel was nothing short of a disaster. When I entered my room, I felt like I had entered a cold, damp dungeon with minimal amenities. The room, located in the basement, had only one small window that allowed all the light to invade the space at night, making it nearly impossible to get a decent night's sleep. The bathroom was another horror story. Not only did I have to deal with water leaking into the shower, creating damp patches everywhere, but the overall cleanliness left much to be desired. The bed sheets were stained with what seemed to be an orange make-up foundation, raising serious questions about the housekeeping standards of this establishment. To add to the discomfort, the radiator in the room didn't work, leaving me shivering in the cold. It felt like the hotel was not interested in providing guests with a comfortable environment. I contacted the staff regarding these issues, but their response was lacklustre; they felt fake and forced. The lack of a wardrobe or storage space in the room only added to the inconvenience. It was a struggle to keep things organised, and I couldn't help but feel like the hotel was cutting corners at every turn. A significant and frustrating issue also marred my stayā€”the complete lack of a working Wi-Fi connection. Nowadays, reliable internet access is a basic expectation for any accommodation, and the hotel's failure to deliver on this front disappointed me. In conclusion, my stay at this hotel was a regrettable experience. The cold, damp atmosphere and the leaking bathroom and unclean sheets made for an incredibly unpleasant stay. I came home and my bedclothes smelt damp. I would strongly advise anyone considering this hotel to think twice before subjecting themselves to such subpar accommodations.

everything i couldā€™ve wished for from a hotel stay! the staff were kind and conscientious. the coffee was wonderful and I really enjoyed the breakfast:) the decor and dim lighting nurtured my soul and aesthetic sensitivity. Everything was environmentally conscious from the reusable glass bottles to the shower. thank you for having us. you made our stay in manchester absolutely heartwarming!

Great service and welcome. Right in the centre of the Northern Quarter with plenty of local bars and restaurants. The breakfast delivered to the room was about right and there is also a small lounge in the basement with a hot drinks machine. It's a boutique hotel so it has character and the rooms are quite compact with a comfy bed and good shower.

Welcoming staff. Beautiful decor, loved the nibbles and breakfast and the bed is comfortable. However, this was unfortunately muddied by the fact that our room was extremely hot. I understand a boutique hotel not having air conditioning available, but no fan was offered. Had to have the windows open so slept terribly owing to the fact that there was a party happening in a neighbouring property until about 8am. The rooms are small which was to be expected, but I think a lot more could have been done with the space, such as not having massive bedside lamps that absolutely eclipse the bedside table. One small towel each seemed quite stingy as well. Nobody asked how our stay was when we left, so had to write it here. As nice as this hotel looks I do think is does a have a bit of a case of style over substance.

What a gem... The service of the entire staff was top tier, from helping bring our bags up the three flights of stairs to constant check-in if we needed anything. The cocktail masterclass was superb and gave us great recommendations for nearby places to enjoy drinks. Breakfast was prompt when we asked for it (6:30a one day, 8:30a the other). When we come back we will look first at staying here!

A fantastic boutique hotel with such a chilled atmosphere. This is our second time staying at the Cow Hollow and it won't be our last. Every bit of the hotel is faultless. Friendly helpful staff, perfect rooms, great bar and the ideal breakfast delivered to your room. Can't recommend it enough.

The room I booked was a double and it was quite small, however for a boutique hotel in England that is expected. What was disappointing was that there was no air conditioning and it was SUPER hot and humid in our room. Opening our window just meant that the loud noises outside would carry through to our room. We had breakfast included in our rate but the first morning breakfast consisted of yoghurt and a hot drink and the second morning they added a croissant and a banana - I would say the free breakfast could be improved or at least tell guests what to expect. The staff were great and helpful and the location was great.

What a refreshing hotel. Very urban, quirky and eco friendly with lots of cute extras like a paper bag with sweets in left on the bed. The bed was really comfy and our bathroom used to be the lift shaft šŸ™ƒ. The staff were super friendly and helpful and you get a complimentary glass of prosecco too. Great location in the northern quarter so a really good vibe for a night out. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

I loved staying here. A small boutique hotel, with a lot of added details that far exceed what is expected. Clean stylish rooms. Breakfast in bed, water in the room, nice toiletries, hairdryer and hair straighteners, complimentary prosecco and nibbles. They will bring drinks to your room without a service charge and there is netflix in every bedroom! Loved it! The staff were very friendly and welcoming.

My partner booked the Cow Hollow for my 50th birthday treat. We were not disappointed, clean and stylish place to stay comfy beds and all the little luxuries made it extra special. Breakfast, fizz and everything you need for a night away in Manchester. Staff super friendly and great cocktails!

Beautiful hotel and excellent service. We loved our stay, so friendly and loved the extra touches. Highly recommend and will definitely return. Very small niggle, struggled with the shower temperature which was either too hot or cold but didn't detract from our stay.

Wonderful unique hotel in a fabulous location, the staff were wonderful and gave good service. My room was very comfortable, especially the showers. The hotel also had a really nice cocktail bar setting. What's not to like, I really enjoyed my stay :) Thanks to the Cow Hollow hotel.

Oooooh what a lovely hotel. You can tell so much love and thought has gone into everything from the gorgeous cocktails to the delicious breakfast in bed and the cozy coffee communal areas. The beds were so comfy too and the rooms felt really special. The lovely wax sealed Haply Birthday note was the cherry on the cake. The staff are friendly and helpful and the hotel is just beautiful and suprisingly affordable. Definitely be back.

Perfect location in Manchester. Most of the staff is very professionel and friendly. One left a very rude remark, but it was handled very well by the manager. The hotel is very stylish in a relaxed atmosphere. Breakfast in bed - what is not to likešŸ«¶ The hotel has rooms in four levels - from the basement and up. If you have breathing problems - be aware that incense sticks are widely used.

We had a lovely week-long stay here over the New Year's holiday, and our time could not have been warmer and kinder. Lily, Lucas, and Deanna (and the entire staff, to be sure) were lovely hosts. We look forward to our return!

Iā€™ve stayed here 3 times now. Every single time the stay has been amazing. The staff are friendly and go above and beyond to make your stay as smooth as possible. The rooms and the hotel itself is impeccable. The special touches that are not included at other hotels really makes it stand out from the crowd. I will definitely be staying here every time I am in the city. Nothing can beat this experience now.

Love this hotel, they have nice rooms, a great bar and lively open area. It feels like a small boutique intimate hotel. The showers and bathroom are modern design and very clean. I'd recommend for a soli stay or a romantic get away.

We had a great stay at the Cow Hollow and would definitely recommend to anyone staying in Manchester. Itā€™s a really cool place to stay and there are lots of small details and little touches that emphasised this e.g. the fun little cards explaining good local restaurants or free Prosecco and nibbles in the evening. Our suite had all the mod cons and extras as described and the interior/finish was as the pictures suggest - outstanding! The staff and service were among the best weā€™ve experienced and we wouldnā€™t hesitate to stay again.

Lovely hotel with great rooms, friendly staff, great service with a good bar open to all. There are more restaurants and bars that are also not far from the hotel all within walking distance. The rooms are a good size and are very tastefully decorated and have nice decor. I had a great experience! And iā€™d recommend this hotel to those either couples or single.
