Horrible. I do not recommend at all. Firstly, smoking is allowed on the upper floor even though all the windows were closed. This is not even legal! This place changed its name to "Parthenon" probably to hide the awful reviews. The service was reasonably quick even though the restaurant was almost full. However, the food is well overpriced for what it is. My partner and I ordered a pizza and "Zalmoxes" chicken. The pizza was acceptable, but it wasn't definitely worth the money and the chicken was horrible. It looked as it was made by a person who didn't know how to cook at all. After eating, the waitress didn't even bother to gather the plates laying on the table, not even mentioning the bill. We couldn't even ask for the bill because the waitress vanished. So I went down to pay and the other waiter was really cool and helpful and he also said he is sorry for the poor service which I appreciated. Just go eat somewhere else because you should avoid this place.

Super-generic restaurant with pizzas, burgers and standard salads on the menu. To be fair, what I ordered was pretty decent. The good thing it openes at 8:00, so you can have your coffee here if you arrive on the 7:53 BUcharest train. Nice view in the street from the outside seats. Very nice coffee. The Irish coffee was good as well. Nothing special, though.

Average food, sometimes they don t respect the recipe shown in the menu. The terrace is right next to the sidewalk, not pleasant at all. Furniture could be improved because chairs are not comfortable at all.

Good pasta, great wines, very nice serving by the waiters, centrally placed in the city.

The place just had a name change to Parthenon and apparently a complete Greek design change. But only on the outside as they don't offer anything Greek in the menu, not even tzatziki. Waiting times are pretty long and the food is decent, although a bit expensive. A big problem was the fact that there was smoking inside with the windows closed and that the waitress forgot we existed and vanished. She didn't dispose our plates and we couldn't even pay. We had to pay on our way out. Would not recommend.

I have eaten at this restaurant before, that's why I went with confidence This time, a disaster. Only one person serving, the terrace almost empty and yet I waited a long time for my food to be brought, for my table to be cleaned, etc. This would not be very important, because the surprise-the food was a disaster. I ordered the vegetable cream soup - I received something pureed with a strong taste of hot peppers and tomatoes, the rest, I have no idea what vegetables they were... and the croutons - slices of bread cut into cubes - not cooked, not fried, not seasoned at all dry... For the main course, I ordered spicy pan fried vegetables in a lot of oil, a few strips of meat and that's it. Plus a dry pate, probably made the other day. All the food came cold!!!! And, the icing on the cake, for all this plus water and coffee, I paid almost 100 ron. Exaggerated is an understatement... AVOID this restaurant, which has now changed its name

The service leaves a lot to be desired....you wait for your order to be taken....your ears are long until you get it....small portions compared to the prices 😒😒

Would have rated them more, were it not for a staff member who passed by even though we were waving at her and she wasn't carrying anything (menus or products). Could have at least stopped to say she can't tend to us right now. Music quality varies a lot but it's OK and the food is good. Seems that, just like in most places around, they also don't have regular hand drying tools like paper towels or air dryers and instead offer lots of thin toilet paper that breaks apart on hands. Still, way better than most other places in the area.

The food is amazing (compliments to the cook), the service is better than the last time we've went here. The restaurant is called Parthenon now.

Delicious food, good prices for what they offer. I had a polloparmegiano that was huge and delicious!!! A great cocktail on the side. If you go to Mangalia you should at least try this place once.

I order 2 pork filled , one fish and one burger. Was a meal for 4 person. They brought the pork first by the time my parents ate half of it they brought the fish and by the time my wife ate a good portion of fish they brought the burger. Burger was a 5 minutes type of burger . Nothing special about it. Everything was processed.

We waited for 1 hour and a half only to be told that they forgot to place the order. Half an hour passed before he came, during which the employees were yelling at each other and arguing about customer service. At least the food was decent.
