Traveled in different places and would say for a country such as Romania is it alright to spend a short holiday due to the prices ( high) the resort is concentrated mostly for the guests to spend quality time with their kids, resort is devided in two parts as per the staff stating the main one is for ,,normal guests meaning they are booked at the renovated hotel which dates back 30+years, the second one is for the ,,special ones,, as they have accommodations in villas , ( bigger rooms, no more than 1 floor high) Meals: for a all inclusive you will have a diversity in meals but not great and deserts are a number of 3 options wich was counted across several days. You will have kids options and options across the days ,downside ,is rationalised and not enough for all as there is only one buffet. Drinks are served across the day ,spirits are served at certain intervals but a massive downfall is that at 10 closed and for a all inclusive there is a bar where you have to pay! WHAT A JOKE!; ROOMS : are kept clean ,clean towels daily, there will be allocated x2 bottle of water ( still) per room , the rooms are very clean, up to date, a lovely insight ,and I'm referring only go the villas. Meal service: the not so experienced young staff only collect the plates but not wiping them before other guests can sit and serve. On very warm days the restaurant manager declined in opening the sliding windows for no reason and there for you had to serve in extreme heat and smell of food. Pool area: no first aider, a lot of rules , warm , nice water.MASSIVE DOWNSIDE which put me off here is that when asking why in the area for the,, rich ,, the sound volume was low the staff told me that this is the request of some rich chaps that could not understand eachother , I've told them that the pool is a communal area ,but the books were done allready. A MASSIVE JOKE. there is plenty to say but will stop here. Overall future wise will not be coming back, same price would go to other countries where staff are friendly and more options.

Loved the stay. The room is clean, the personnel are very friendly and want to help out, the kids pool is great for the little ones. They have food for small kids every day, from steamed vegetables to pureed soups to yogurt, its welcomed when you are dealing with under 1 year olds. They were very accomodating and offered to move our room to the other side, when the hotel next door had the music blasting so loud, it was like they were blasting it in the room with us. The view is nice, even when not directly on the sea side.

Clean room and surrondings, efficient staff in all areas - restaurant, reception, bar, cleaning ladies. Good food and drinks, amazing pool. The only minus is that they clean the terrace every night at around 11-12 using a water vacuum that is very noisy, it woke us up from our sleep.

Everything is of 5 ✨! High quality drinks, food and services! You can book your holiday with confidence, as the hotel has a nice view, with a quiet area, perfect for families with smaller kids too! Awesome pools for adults and water slides for kids. I've had a great time at this hotel.

Very nice personal, an army of people's who are cleaning everything so we,and our kids can relax safe and happy. Good food, a lot of entertainment and a lot of dedicated space for many activities. Go see for yourself 😄

One star only for the view! Food was very bad and also the drinks. Bad choice to come to all inclusive in Romania. 👎

Very good services, although a little overcrowded, not enough swimming-pool space to accomodate all the tourists wanting to stay by the pool. Very few indicators in other language than Romanian. Some overlooked cleaning details in the rooms and in the dining area.

A nice place to spend your vacation, especially if you have kids. There are plenty of activities for them and also for the grownups 😊. Each evening entertainment is provided by various artists, local or national ones. The food is fresh, diverse and good, not awesome but good. This is from my point of view the most important thing. The last thing you want in vacation is your kids or yourself, to have food poisoning or an indigestion. Cookies and sweets were just awesome 👍🏻 If you want something fancy there are always restaurants that you can go to. The room was clean and big enough to accommodate one kid and two adults. Staff was nice, helpful, and yeah for sure there is room for improvement especially for the people that are working only for the summer period. But no one is perfect 😊 The only downside, at all inclusive, maybe for the future you can have a bit more diversity when it comes to alcoholic drinks, not just wine and beer. Not taking in consideration here the drinks served only during meals. Thank you very much to all the staff for making or stay pleasant. Keep this up!

I found the Mera Onix resort during our company's teambuilding and found the overall experience delightful. Very happy with the food and drinks, infinity pool, there is a small beach in front of the hotel fantastic for snorkeling, and the rooms had everything you need. I had a really good time and, based on my experience, would definitely recommend this resort for anyone seeking accomodations for teambuilding events. The very few things I didn't quite like, were that they didn't have cigarettes, so you had to take a 20min walk to a store called "La 2 pași" on the beach, just to buy some. Also they had a lot of plastic cups, without any noticeable selective disposal. In my humble opinion, they could improve the recycling and serve also cigarettes. All in all the resort is not cheap, but it is worth it, if you're looking for a more exquisite all inclusive experience!

Good location, nice and clean rooms. Food is good, but there are not so many choices. The pool is excellent, the beach is very close.

There were ants in our room the whole time on the 6th floor. The room smelled like sewage frequently. The shower drain wouldn’t work and flooded our bathroom every time anyone would take a shower. The bathrooms are tiny. They wouldn’t give us any money back for these issues and we paid a lot for our rooms (in US standards). The food was mediocre at best. Same food provided at every meal time. If you don’t get it right when mealtime starts, it will be cold. Best part about the resort was the water slides and kid park area.

Don't take a front see room if you have a small child because the sound from the every day concert is too high for sleeping.

Food was a horror story, repeating itself every day as the same nightmare. Staff is so unpolite and clueless about the whole cx thing that at some point, one has to abandon all hope and go with it all.

The hotel has very small rooms, the surroundings are noisy, the food is very poor, if something gets broken in the room it won’t be replaced, nobody is wearing masks inside the hotel. The hotel is a renovated communist hotel which should have been demolished instead. The pool area is very small and crowded and the beach is a joke. The only plus side is that the view from the terrace is beautiful.

We have been here twice (once before baby and once after), and we have really enjoyed our stay each time. So, it’s an excellent stay for families and couples. The rooms are comfortable, and we love the beach access and the pool. The service is also great. We hope to make this a regular vacation spot in the future! We also hope that our future stays will include more vegetarian and vegan options. 🤞🏻🌱

Pro: Clean everywhere, well organized with services (trained staff), ok with food ( taste & diversification), the seaside is great for kids, the infinity pool & kids pool are great as well Cons: the music is too loud All in all, it is a nice experience! I recommend!
