Now who doesn't love The Swanathan. Man I have had many a good night in here back in the day. In fact my youth was spent in here, back in a time when town and society used to be busy and there was a social scene of drinkers. It was how you met people back then, today everything is done online and the pubbing / clubbing scene is unfortunately no more. I still pop in the Swan for a pint every now n then for nostalgia sake. I touched my first tuppence in there :) and grew from a boy into man, also used to blaze the dance floor with some smooth moves. Thank you Swan for some great memories.

We were more than happy with the service that we received from Abby while we were having our food, I couldn’t ask for anything more!

As a visitor staying at the travelodge we used the Swan as my mum always came to the Swan. Staff always welcoming especially Jo . The only criticism would be we couldn't order food after 4 in the week . But is the only downside. So we would leave earlier to go and eat else where. But again we have always felt very welcome and love the atmosphere.

Great beer patio. Staff are quick and polite. I'm happy here because they sell Smirnoff ice and a respectable pint for himself. Atmosphere is friendly and the door staff keep a professional eye on the customers. Definitely somewhere you could spend a few hours in warmer weather.

Great food great atmosphere. Prices are slowly rising as with anywhere. I took my grandchildren in with me but I wouldn't say it was kiddie friendly. Got told off for touching the fruit machine. Toilets are dirty and disgusting. Could do with a complete makeover. Most of staff very friendly and helpful.

Loses a star for plastic glasses, this may be due to the clientele but it was upbeat with a happy Ibiza style music vibe. Good service at the bar. Outside seating area

Reserved a table at the Swan for Saturday 15th, never been there before and surprised at how nice it was. Jo the manager and all other members of staff were really friendly and food was lovely. We'll definitely be visiting again. Thanks Jo for reserving table 😁

Kinda disappointed in the ribs and wings combo, you get lots but it seemed like it was microwaved, sauce was nice and the servers were very attentive and friendly.

Excellent food and drinks at reasonable prices. Only downside was a longer than normal wait on food due to an issue in the kitchen but wasn't too long. Will definitely visit again .

this restaurant and bar is the best in downtown Mansfield. the staff is very good. service is very fast and efficient. They have an outdoor terrace for smokers and non-smokers, and they also they serve hot food and cook and also serve drinks very fast. I recommend everyone to visit Swan.

Nice food at a reasonable price,never had a bad meal . great staff,able to have a good laugh and joke with.

I absolutely love it here! Ash is an absolute gem he's super super friendly as a credit to the swan! my little girl loves him and we visit regularly to see him and enjoy the delicious. Thanks to Abbey also today that looked after my little girl whilst I ordered food and drink. Samantha and Ameera x

Was here on a Friday night. Very few people there. A few of us had Beavertown's Neck Oil and it wasn't kept very well. The lager drinkers were ok with their drinks though. What atmosphere there could have been was unfortunately being killed by the guy on guitar performing terrible covers.

We ordered off the regular meals menu, but we only got the small meals instead. I was disgusted as we were charged for the large meals. We will not go in again and we used to be regulars. The last time we went there I got food poisoning.

Visted as a large group, staff were friendly, food was tasty all arrived to our table at the same time. The atmosphere was good, seen alot of improvement in recent months, keep it up. 🙂 we will be back soon!

Enjoyable atmosphere. I can't comment on the inside of the pub as I spent my time here in the beer garden. I wouldn't say its a place I would take my children, at least not on a Friday afternoon or bank holiday. Its a busy place and an enjoyable experience with a nice beer garden.

Service was friendly food was nice and reasonably priced facilities were clean

undercooked beef burger, the burger was pink. and after i told a member off staff another worker blatantly shouted out about it saying “how can a burger be pink” do not recommend the swan for food.

Probably the best pub meal that I have ever had. The chips were perfectly crispy on the outside and soft inside, my steak was perfectly cooked, the cleanliness was impeccable, staff were so polite.

Reasonable prices BUT terrible meal , sent the first one back when the second one came completely wrong order , the toilets were disgusting and certainly not clean no hot water to wash hand and dryer not working. Will definitely not go back

A local town pub, but I tended to associate with the young, load and proud, but it was actually calm, relaxing, nice environment. We sat outside in beer garden which was all clean tidy, with beautiful hanging baskets. Defo will go back again! 👍

Place had a great atmosphere We went for some food and drink The food menu was kind of shallow not much of a selection. The food was kind of expensive for what you got but it did taste nice. My only major thing hence the 3 stars was that it wasn't hot at all. More lukewarm. I'd probably return but not for the food.

Staff were very friendly, food didn't take too long to arrive and was very tasty and a good portion size, and I don't mean excessive, I hate food waste but this size meal was perfect. Service with a smile, would definitely come again if we visited the area again

Great place to meet up. Wasn't that busy for a Friday night. Not like back in the day when it used to be 8 deep at the bar.

Large spacious pub in middle of Mansfield. We had a meal here here which was not of a high standard. Small portion for big price

Very busy especially on match days but it is town centre after all. Food really tasty. Good selection of beers.

Been coming for past 5 years for breakfast and it's bang on but tonight me and my partner was sick alot of times from the hunters chicken thought I'd mention has they is already a comment about the hunters chicken.... I think the chicken is cooked from frozen not fresh am not sure but the way its made must be changed has am not the only person to say this best of luck Al be sticking to the all day breakfast from now

Brilliant service bar staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough will definitely be visiting the Swan again and what a fantastic variety of food on other great price too
