Dr. Zivich has a dedicated and knowledgeable staff and it is very easy to communicate with the office or make an appointment. The staff if BDH is very dedicated to getting prescriptions filled on time, responding to questions, and pushing through insurance paperwork. They offer in-office procedures like sutures for a wound or nerve blocks for migraines, and some other simple procedures that shouldn’t really require going to the emergency room. Living with complex health problems is a challenge, and having high quality care has changed my life for the better. Whether you have complex health conditions, or just need a general practitioner for routine health checks, I highly recommend Dr. Zivich. Addendum: April 27, 2023 I’m using the aesthetician’s Vera’s services through BDH now and strongly recommend her for hair removal and facial. Vera is gentle and attentive. I’m delighted with the results.

If you are wondering whether this practice is for you, IT IS. Dr. Zivich and his team are caring, responsive, and knowledgeable. After spending decades being gaslit by a series of medical professionals, I am finally getting somewhere with my longtime health issues. Dr. Zivich is connecting me with practitioners who can help, something that never would have happened in my previous doctor's office. Because of the efficient office-patient communication system (ok, it's texting, but this is a huge improvement for me), I am saving a ton of time not waiting on hold or getting a call back at a time inconvenient for my work schedule. I wish I had made the switch to Boston Direct Health sooner.

They listen. How rare is this?! They hear put your concerns with respect. Nurse Putignano assisted me and was amazing! I was feeling super anxious when I arrived, but he coached me into relaxation and I left feeling more at ease with the world than I have in ages. The atmosphere is more spa-like and relaxing than a doctor’s office, and the entire staff is warm, patient and caring, not to mention down to earth. I give them full marks!

Best doctor I've had. I experience a wide range of somewhat random medical issues and also have to get a lot of bloodwork done for my medications. They are always there, respond very quickly and help with everything. They know more about FMLA than the HR person at my work. Totally worth the money (especially for the robes that make me feel like I'm at the spa and not dying).

I had a wonderful experience with Boston Direct Health. I received my first IV drip there and had many concerns before coming in. However, the staff were patient, informative, and supportive, providing timely responses to all my questions. This was important because a lack of proper knowledge can lead to misunderstandings and poor outcomes. At Boston Direct Health, I felt at home and cared for, knowing professionals were on my side to guide me when in doubt. Additionally, the IV drip has continued to work well, leaving me feeling more energetic in the weeks following. I highly recommend this place!

Dr Steve Zivich is an outstanding and caring doctor. I received Morpheus 8 laser treatment and was very happy with the treatment and his thoughtful after-care.

I came here for injections for TMJ relief and decided to get some preventative for my forehead while I was here - Dr. Steve does an amazing job explaining the process and making an assessment on the individual level to provide just the right amount of treatment! I went  to BDH for laser hair removal on legs and armpits. The office is clean and welcoming and Dr. Zivich is fantastic to work with (it's six hour long sessions... so lots of time talking!). He's caring, knowledgeable and takes a holistic/patient-focused approach to wellness.Dr. Zivich was meticulous, he worked with me in early sessions to adjust laser settings based on pain threshold/skin reaction, and passed over stubborn areas 3x in the later sessions, leading to excellent results.

I had my third Morpheus8 microneedling/radiofrequency treatment with Dr. Zivich at Boston Direct Health. My primary goal was to reduce the appearance of acne scars. I’ve noticed a significant improvement from the first two treatments and an overall tightening and smoothing of my skin’s texture overall. This third session took place at Boston Direct Health’s beautiful new location on Newbury Street. Dr. Zivich places a focus on infection prevention and pain control with methods that aren’t typically offered at med spas. Dr. Zivich also included a post-procedure recovery kit with topical products that worked to speed recovery and reduce redness post-procedure.

I have had the best experience with Dr. Steve and all of the staff that he has assembled at Boston Direct. I sought the treatment known as Alma Duo for ED brought on by factors in my medical history. From my initial consult through the course of my treatment, everyone in the practice has been extremely accommodating and helpful. I came into Dr. Steve’s practice full of questions and all have been answered honestly and in a timely fashion. I am as comfortable discussing issues of my case with Joe, lead nurse practitioner, as I am with Dr. Steve. What does this "Boston Direct Health" office REALLY mean? It means they DO NOT ACCEPT ANY INSURANCE. They bill you DIRECTLY. NO EXCEPTIONS. Low income, elderly, disabled need not come here. We bill you directly, $250 for the first month, and $150 for each additional month - even if you don't - or can't - make an appointment. And 38 "patients" - all giving this operation 5 stars and glowing reviews? Come on! Who controls these reviews? Putin?

Dr. Zivich has been my family’s primary care physician for many years and I can’t speak highly enough about how fantastic and essential his services have been for us, especially during these crazy COVID times. Truly positive experience at BDH. Easy to find. Space is so welcoming. Staff extremely kind and professional. At 57 years old - I have the common aging deep "11" forehead lines. I felt they made me appear angry when I wasn't at all. I had tried multiple topical products and treatments for years. I went to BDH for a consult for treating those deep forehead/frown lines with Botox. Amanda Digitale RN, BSN was knowledgeable, informative and completely reassuring. We made a plan and I was treated right then and there with the first of the recommended sessions. It was mildly uncomfortable (but- hey it is an injection right?). Total injection time was only a few minutes. I tolerated the treatment with only a mild, dull headache for a few days- which I had been made aware was a potential to occur. After 5 days I really have begun to see RESULTS! I have my follow-up planned and am sooooooooo looking forward to continuing to brighten my face by softening / losing my "11". I don’t have a single negative thing to say about Dr. Zivich and his staff at BDH! Every visit has exceeded expectations in regards to friendliness, efficiency, and addressing the reason for my visit. Finding a PCP who genuinely cares about your health and makes you feel like you are more than just a number/appointment is HARD, and I couldn’t recommend BDH enough for their incredible staff and services. I have gone in for: rapid Covid testing, bloodwork, medication changes, physical ailments, and supplementation help. My boyfriend won some free Botox and spoke very highly of the appointment, which was scheduled promptly. That’s another thing- scheduling is so easy. You don’t have to wait weeks for your appointment which happens a lot with PCPs through MassGen/Brigham and other surrounding public healthcare providers. He is also now offering DEXA scans at a separate location, which is a valuable tool for weight loss patients and fitness enthusiasts, and DEXAs available in the New England area are few and far between.
