The rooms are "newer" but really needs improvement on cleanliness. When we checked in there was a long hair right in the middle of a desk. It seems like housekeeping just switched the sheets and did a quick wipe down. Vents are dusty and floors need to be moped. We are traveling with a dog and how the rooms are set up makes it convenient to go and do their business. Overall the rooms are comfortable with everything you need but hopefully Wyndham can improve their standards when it comes to cleaning a hotel room.

Dangerous! My wife and I needed to stay close to that location for one night, and there are limited lodging options. I thought I had an idea what to expect after seeing the property, but I was wrong. The property is old, especially the two story section, which is where my room was. My room had significant deferred maintenance, you could hear movement from the people staying upstairs, and the room wasn’t particularly clean. But I figured it was only for a night. When I walked my dog, I noticed what appeared to be areas where homeless people hung out in the wooded area in front of my room. But the last straw was at 2:00 a.m., when a group of 6 men where hanging out in front of my room next to my car being loud and doing drugs (I could smell the drugs in my room because the AC unit draws air from outside the room). My wife and I decided to leave, and waited an hour for the men to leave. They never did. So at 3:00 in the morning we walked through the group of men to our car as they heckled us for being afraid, which was true. I told the lady at the front desk why we were checking out when I dropped off the keys, and she didn’t seem surprised or interested.

I’ve stayed at way better hotels for much cheaper. $1,200 for 7 nights and the bedding was filthy, fingerprints all over the mirror, no housekeeping the entire week which meant we had to go to the front desk for towels and toilet paper halfway through our stay. The first 4 days our room keys needed reprogrammed every time we arrived back to the room. There was a mini fridge and keurig but no freezer or microwave. I think the main thing that frustrated me was dirty bedding upon arrival and no housekeeping even when requested for an entire weeks stay even after paying over $1k. Wyndham should be embarrassed!

Been here since Wednesday night and it's now Saturday. Room service has not cleaned or freshened the room, nor have they brought in new towels. After calling front desk, new towels, cleanings, or linens are brought only by request. I even went so far as to place the used towels and washcloths outside, which were gathered, but not replaced. You are required to go to the front desk yourself to collect new towels and washcloths UNLESS there are 2 people at the desk. The room itself was adequate, but on arrival, the bathroom counter wasn't properly cleaned, and the nightstand top was covered in some kind of substance I can only equate to either a personal lubricant or lotion. The hotel is a clearly remodeled older facility(which is fine) but with OK work done to freshen it that leaves a lot to be desired. The pool is green and has been out of service for some time. At this price point, go somewhere else. We will not be staying here again.

This is by far our WORST experience. The only good things were: receptionist who did check us in, floors that were not carpeted, and the lights in the mirror. Aside from those, everything were horrible. Around 8pm or 9pm, somebody just opened our door. Can you imagine what kind of receptionist would that be who doesn’t know how to check the rooms that have been occupied? Good thing we had the door secured. Then, next door room were kind of awake the whole night and we can clearly hear their conversations which it made us not get a good sleep. The faucet is about to come off, too. Note: please don’t be stupid to assign another customer to a room that’s already occupied. Learn it, lady! Learn it!

We initially checked in around 5 pm or so. Upon first checking in, I realized that that bathroom had not been cleaned at all. There was pad paper and some sort of water on the floor. We were in a hurry to get to our next game so I advised the front desk and they said that they would clean while we were gone. We didn’t get back in until super late but when we woke to shower and get ready , I realized how dirty the hotel was and why we coughed the entire night and most of the morning even after we checked out. I am a licensed homebuilder in Alabama and this hotel was filled with mold and mildew. The tub drain was broken, the sheet rock over the shower was any moment away from falling down. This room is unsafe for people to be staying in. Over the toilet was patched poorly and about to fall also. The toilet seat top was partially off and didn’t flush well. There was no microwave in our room either. When I went to check out early and advised the front desk of everything that was wrong and to advise how sick we all felt , there was no remorse , concern, or care. She did say that there was a leak in room 417 but the stains on our ceiling were not fresh. We may have been affected by the leak in 417 in the section over the bathroom but the amount of mold and mildew were obvious from prior leaks and poor repair/patch work. We did not stay for breakfast either. We just wanted to be out. we are all still coughing and sneezing. I try to be very mindful of where we stay and I also host Air bnb's myself. We only stayed here because our team chose this hotel to stay. The level of customer service, the cleanliness and condition of room 315 (where we stayed) is unacceptable and a safety hazard. No one should be staying somewhere like this. Update: This hotel is individually owned. I have spoken to the owner and GM and see why the customer service Of the staff is the way it is. They are refusing to provide me with the insurance information and tried to even say that they had me down as staying in another room. I have the room card key holder that they provided to show we stayed in moldy room 315. I had to keep my youngest out of school on Monday and we all have been to see the doctor because we feel bad. I had to get a steroid shot on yesterday 5/4/2023 as I was not getting better and only worse . I was told by the General manager Bob on Wednesday that the Health Department checks and certifies all of their rooms and water can come from anywhere. He was set to give me a call back after offering me points but never did, I spoke with environmental health services this morning at their designated health department as well and have all of the pictures, photos and video to provide them with if needed. I wouldn’t want for anyone else to experience what my family is right now.

Hotel staff is very nice but the hotel is not great. I am staying here as I type this review. Hallways and elevators were not clean or vacuumed when we got here. Air conditioning filters were dirty and clogged. I cleaned the filters in my room when we arrived. The bathroom sink was clogged. They ran out of very basic things like milk and creamer for coffee. Yeah, not very good. We also didn't get towels after room service which by the way you have to ask for.

service was okay. the lady didn’t complete the check for our room and we had to tell her we didn’t pay yet. our room key didn’t work and we walked back and forth to the front around 3 times before they decided to change our room. when we got to our new room we noticed the fire alarm was coming out of the ceiling and was beeping. it didn’t stop beeping the WHOLE NIGHT. extremely annoying. very loud and thin walls, i could hear everything the people upstairs were doing and everything outside. i didn’t try the breakfast but i skimmed through it and do not believe it should be worth $10 when online it says it’s complementary. would never stay here again.

This hotel is gross. I really hate leaving negative reviews but I can’t help it in this case. I drove 9 hours to be at this hotel for 5 days for business. When I got to my room I was greeted by the stench of mold and cigarettes. I don’t smoke and find the smell nauseating. Upon inspection of the room I found mold on the curtains, boogers on the wall, and rust everywhere. I’m less concerned about rust and more concerned about the mold. Im no doctor but mold is very dangerous and can make people extremely sick. Especially those with asthma or other respiratory issues. The fact that there were boogers on the wall really made me wonder what else was not clean. Needless to say I did not take my shoes off as much as possible. The staff were friendly enough and fun to talk to so I feel bad leaving this review but this hotel needs some serious cleaning. The hallways on the second floor where I was staying were littered with bits of trash which was evidence of a lack of vacuuming. I know this is a cheap place but that doesn’t mean guests should be subjected to dirty rooms. See the attached photos. Keep in mind also that they charge $10 for breakfast each day so I recommend getting something elsewhere.

This is the first hotel I’ve ever been to that had a continental breakfast that was not included in the stay. I expected a hotel of this caliper to offer more than a motel. I’ve worked for 3 hotels of varying levels of services, one of which was not as nice as this one but still offered free breakfast. Either the management is super cheap or this hotel isn’t holding up to the standard that 2-star hotels usually do. The rooms are nicely decorated, but the floor in my room was uneven, making it difficult to close the bathroom door, which is important when you have 3 other people in the room with you. I was not offered a wifi password or anything at check-in either, and while I never bothered to ask, I wouldn’t be surprised if I had to pay extra for that too. Overall, if you’re just looking to sleep and not do anything else, it’s a decent place. If you’re hoping to enjoy anything else that a 2 star hotel offers, spend your money elsewhere.

I had never stayed at a Wyndham before. Everything was nice in our queen size room. The room was clean, the shower was good, and it was right off the main road, but super quiet. We didn't hear anything. My only ding is that the room would not cool below 68°and it was not 68°in the room, so it was a little warmer than what we like to sleep. However, that is totally a personal preference. The pillows may need updating soon. You could tell they had been washed, which is a good thing that they were clean...but it left them a little lumpy. Would definitely stay there again.

We stayed here for work. We requested housekeeping 5 days in a row and have yet to receive it. We let the person at the front desk know every morning we would like our room cleaned and some fresh towels. Instead we have to go to the front desk everyday and get towels and toilet paper. Very unhappy with my visit especially for the price. I hope they have a change in heart by the time we checkout and are willing to make it right before

This hotel has caused the worst customer service I ever experienced. Check in at the hotel went smoothly, but when I arrived at my room it smelt strongly of smoke. I requested a new room and this was immediately given to me. When I arrived at the next room it also smelt like smoke and I noticed the occupant next door was standing at the door smoking. I went back and requested a third room. This room still smelled a little like smoke, but it was a vast improvement over the previous two so I decided to deal with it. During all of this the staff was pleasant. I was discouraged upon arrival when I realized the rooms were exterior corridor, like a "motel" despite the images on Wyndham's website only showing the part of the hotel with interior rooms. Now to where things got worse. Upon arrival I provided the front desk a copy of a tax exemption form since I am traveling on behalf of a state agency. The manager was present at this time and told the front desk worker she would do it for her. I asked if it would be done by checkout the next morning and was assured it would. Now, after 4 days and multiple telephone , the hotel has still not processed the tax form correctly. The manager has avoided my calls including today when she had the front desk agent tell me to call her back in 15 minutes only to then tell me she would not talk to me because she's already fixed my issue. I explained to the desk agent it was not fixed, she agreed to send my call to the manager who then sent me to voicemail.

on the first day, the floor was terrible and the bathroom smelled of urine. I stayed for 9 days and they only cleaned the room the first night after my complaint. the closet does not have a hanger. I asked at reception to clean the room and change towels on the fifth, sixth and seventh day and we were not assisted. I only had new towels because I got them from reception. my experience was terrible. I do not recommend

The amount of road noise is insane, the windows seem to block out none of it. It's constant trucker air brakes and sirens all night. The noise insulation between rooms is very bad as well and even worse if you have a conjoined room. You can hear the slightest noise from the neighboring room. The rooms were dirty and around all the edges in the bathroom were pretty bad and in need of a cleaning.

Rooms need better cleaning and entrances had spilled drink marks everywhere. Elevator needs some work. But the front desk check in people, they were doing excellent job on trying to help make customers happy! They should get a raise! Excellent help!

Get there to check in Friday night, had 6 rooms reserved for a tournament, they had charged all 6 rooms on one card AFTER speaking with management about paying for each room separately. Tracey said she took it upon herself to charge the one card for all 6 rooms for the first night. When we asked Tracey for an invoice of what had been charged she said they don’t give receipts. She had no clue what she was doing at all. Her and Javier were rude. The only person that was working Friday night that had a bit of sense was Diamond. My card has still been overcharged by 130. Bad business. I was told there was a 20 security deposit. Okay, that’s fine. I understand, however my card was charged 20 then 98 then 134 and Tracey told me I was a liar. I had my banking app pulled up with the proof and she still said I was lying. We travel a lot for ball and always book multiple rooms for the team and never had a problem until Friday!

Where to start. First things first, no photos indicate that this hotel has rooms that are outside. We feel like we were advertised a hotel and received a motel. The first room we had faced directly to the first floor parking lot, with broken locks on the door and a shower with no door or curtain. Staff did allow us to change rooms, however still stayed towards the back of the building in front of the stair well. We never felt completely safe being here. Secondly, photos on the website were intentionally misleading for the rooms and the pool. Both were small and cramped, with the pool being dirty with trash floating around with few chairs to sit on. If the accommodation’s had been honest, we wouldn’t have been so offended by them.

Save yourself a big headache and disgust and do not stay here! To start, the hallways were filthy dirty and carpeting has old food bits and wrappers, as if they don’t vacuum, EVER! Exterior (interior too) doors have dried liquid spillage. Bathroom: dirty floor, build up of dust in all corners, incl. around sink and vanity. Toilet bowl stained and suspicious discoloration under seat which is loose- interior tub was clean however, some mold around caulking-floor sticky & dirty - vents dusty. The entire room has very poor lighting, even in daytime - lamps have harsh LED lightbulbs. ALL drawer pulls are entirely rusted and leave orange on fingers & desk lamp covered in rust and barely lit the small area - Telephone disgusting! Slimy film all over it- Remote control, worse than phone! Kept my shoes on due to sticky film on flooring. Interior door latch broken off - Bed: Thank God, no bedbugs! Sheets are old, tea-color stained in areas and dirt stained in other areas. Couch, hard to tell bcuz it’s a very dark brown but could see some dried spilled something. IF it weren’t so late in the evening, we would have gone elsewhere but couldn’t. Do not stay here. The whole place needs to be demolished interior and rebuilt.

Checking in was great and Javier the check in agent was sweet. However around 11PM a lady was banging on my door, I didn't answer it as I am a woman staying by myself. A few minutes later a very tall man shows up behind her while they're still knocking. I called the front desk and was told "Let me check it out and I'll call you back".. I never received a call back and an hour later, the same couple were outside my door again.. Eventually they left. Then around 4AM my toilet starts trying to flush over and over again. The morning I checked out, I spoke with the manager regarding the incident and he said "I'll give you a call back" Yet again, I never received a call back. Don't stay here if you value safety.

Was not happy with my stay at this hotel. The side doors remained unlocked 24/7 with no safety measures - left unattended, no keycard access. The walls are paper thin - could hear neighbors continuously throughout the night opening and slamming their door shut and knocking on the door across the hall. The shower plumbing was very loud. Could hear it next door and sounded like a freight train. We spoke to the manager to see if we could get a refund. He declined and did not even apologize for the poor experience or even offer to put us in a different room. We checked out the morning after checking in and it was worth moving to the Courtyard Marriott where service was fantastic and experience was great.

Arrived expecting a king sized bed, instead, got a room with twin queen beds. Upon entering the room, it reeked of marijuana. Door lock to the room looked like it had been previously opened by a crowbar. Took over 5 min to open the door. Next morning, was greeted by 2 dead roaches by my bed. I alerted the front desk that they need pest control to come spray the room. Overall, not a good stay.

I paid handsomely for a room for my older sisters who were visiting the city. Both of them have medical conditions. Not wanting to make a fuss, they both told me that the room at the hotel was nice and did not mention the outside elevator until departure time. I was shocked to learn that they struggled to get upstairs because the hotel's outside elevator was broken. The clerk told them that their room was outside, but the outside elevator is broken. Who Does This? You can visibly see that they are older and unstable and in need of some type of assistance. Any why, at these prices, is the elevator broken? I called the hotel today, 3/5/2023, because I thought my sister had not asked and that there is no way this could be true. The rep at the hotel confirmed that the outside elevator was not working. They managed to get up and down, but for 2 older women with medical issues, this was a huge inconvenience, especially for the price. I am deeply disappointed. I really expected more. WYNDHAM, DO BETTER.

The hotel is a bit run down but the main problem was the staff, who was completely apathetic and made no effort to get help us after we realized the room we got on the 3rd floor did not have a microwave. I tried to call the front desk but the phone in the room did not work so I had to use my cellphone to call and explained how much we needed a room with a microwave. But we were told there were some in the ground floor that we could use because not all rooms had microwaves. Since we were on the 3rd floor I again explained how we travel for work and bring our own food so we really had to have one. Then I asked if they could bring us one or switch us to a room that had one. And after being put on hold so the lady could "check with the manager" she came back to say, and I quote "We can't change the room 'cause we are not about to go in every room just to make sure there is one. So you can either come use the ones in the ground floor or we can cancel and refund your reservation." So of course we left. Worth noting for other travelers is that this hotel does not have complementary breakfast instead you have to pay per person with only one rate for adults and one for children available.

The staff is very accommodating and quick to solve any issues. The rooms themselves are subpar. During my first stay my room wasn’t cleaned well. There was something white on the door handles and around the tool. Both the table and bathroom was dirty. During my second stay, the floor was sticky and bathroom didn’t have the lotion/ shampoo/ conditioner nor extra toilet paper.

Before booking, I saw a lot of good reviews. The pictures show a newer looking hotel. There is an older building behind the nice one in the pictures. Yes, they do allow dogs, but you are put in the old building. No good access to our room. Door to the outside had been broken into a lot looking at the condition the door frame was in. Do not recommend if traveling with pets. Can’t speak for the new part.

I highly recommend this hotel. The rooms were clean and they served a nice breakfast every morning. Additionally, the staff and front desk managers were extremely pleasant to chat with each day. Moreover, the General Manager Cristin Barnes was very professional and knowledgeable.

The pool is nice, and the staff is pleasant. Unfortunately, I can’t give a good review seeing as they overcharged me almost $400. And now that I’m calling to get it understood they keep putting me on hold and not picking the phone back up. They said I can’t rebook unless I’m physically there to run my card however they’re running it even after I left! Be careful

Overall, it was a positive experience. The location is near the interstate, but you don't really hear much traffic noise. I only had a few minor issues with the room: the room safe for storing valuables did not work, and the the door to my room did not properly fit within its frame, so there was a noticeable amount of sunlight coming in through the crack. But, neither of these things was enough to truly detract from my stay. I was somewhat disappointed in the breakfast. The website advertises a "buffet breakfast," so I assumed it was complimentary but I would not have minded paying a nominal fee for the convenience. However, the breakfast appeared to be a la carte and overpriced at that; sorry, I'm not paying $4 for two slices of bacon. I'd much rather just grab something at a fast food place or at the QT gas station down the road on Franklin Gateway. Also, this may not necessarily be the fault of the hotel or its staff, but I'll mention it. I came back to my room around 2am after attending a wedding. There were two people hanging outside in the breezeway and I'm not sure they were even guests of the hotel. They continued to hang around outside for about 20 minutes smoking cigarettes and talking loudly. Given the location so close to the interstate and a state highway, I imagine it's quite possible that any number of undesirable types of people could come wandering through at all hours of the night.

    1. Room not cleaned. Many bugs inside I had to kill spiders and found bugs in my bedsheets. Smells awful tubs are not clean. 2. I couldn’t get into the room until they shows me how janky the door is to move doorknob upwards for me to get in. 3. I didn’t feel safe here alone (I’m a female lived on my own for many years and frequent traveler.) 4. Even with communication explaining I’m attending orientation at Life University that I may be late if they can hold the room until 1:30 when I knew checkout is at 11am. The latest they said is by 1:30, now they tried to charge me another night. They didn’t even give courtesy call for a follow up. I drove 10.5 hours here yesterday and today driving same distance back home as soon as I picked up the dogs by 1:30. Ungrateful, disrespectful front desk people all three of them. Highly recommend a motel or a different hotel than this Wyndham. Thanks. Parking lot empty as shown below. Same view as the night before. Today they say they’re all sold out for incoming guests. And yes, I disputed a transaction that is absolutely unnecessary. If I get a counter argument I’ll continuously to dispute for this ‘another nightly’ visit after the check out time of 11am.

The staff was exceptional during my stay. The room was clean and the surroundings were quiet minus I75 traffic. That didn't bother me as i grew up next to a heavy use rail road line. Would definitely stay again

Stayed for one night on the fourth floor. Front desk staff was friendly. Hotel offers joint rooms. Not sound proof, could hear family clearly in next room. Room was okay. Bed was fine. Pillows looked fluffy, but flatten quickly with use. Countertops were not wiped. Saw cup rings from previous guests. Didn't use pool but looked great. Hotel also offers hot breakfast for $9.95. No free breakfast. Wifi available.

Bed was comfortable but there was mold on a big spot on the ceiling. There was no hand soap provided in our room and the air conditioner cover was off of the unit when we got to the room and there was a towel on the floor below it. It was almost of as if they put us in a room that wasn't actually ready for guests.

I gave a 1 because it was the lowest u could give. Walking in lobby the smell of smoke was so overwhelming I felt sick. I paid $140 for 1 night for a handicap accessible room. The room I got was a regular room. I checked out after about 4 hours at the most. When I told the clerk it was not a handicap room like I required and paid for he told me well that's not the room reservation booked and basically dismissed me. I was basically robbed. There was another gentleman in the lobby telling them his toilet was clogged and could not be used and they told him he would have to wait until the morning sometime before it could he fixed. RUN AWAY FROM HERE

The HVAC/temperature control didn't work (the thermostat said 76 , the room temp was 68 and it was 32 outside), and the refrigerator didn't work. Our 1 year old's milk we were travelling with, and our dinners all spoiled. We were offered a free breakfast voucher (we passed). The building was in fair condition at best. Not a BAD Hotel, but far from Great.

Nice room, shower was ok but not the best(the part you pull up on to change from bath to shower would not stay all the way up)the hot breakfast was $10 for a scramble egg, 2pcs of sausage, half waffle and some under cooked home fries. So all in all I do recommend staying there. It is nice. Just don't recommend the breakfast
