Absolutely impressive!! I’m blown away by what a beautiful park this is. I’ve been to all the major parks around the country and this is in the top 3. There’s something for everyone, all ages and food galore. Fright Fest is amazing, decorated top-notch. The passes are a super good deal and includes parking which saves you $25 bucks! They also aid the disabled with more than reasonable accommodations.

Love this amusement park- both the roller coasters and Soak city. We enjoyed the rides in the morning, then Skyline chili for lunch, and went to the water park in the afternoon. Wonderful variety of tubes, body slides, two wave pools, plenty of lounge chairs too. We went in a Fri and the lines were manageable- long for some rides, not too long for others. The Beast does not disappoint! My husband and I rode the Racer back in 1998 when it went backwards, but it no longer does, so we rode it again for old times sake, still fun ride! We enjoyed the fireworks at 10pm, and had Graeters ice cream to end the night. Terrific day!

I love Kings Island. This park has always been fun, but, over the last fifteen years or so, it has been transformed into a first class place. So many great coasters, including some, like Orion, Diamondback, Mystic Timbers, and Banshee, that are the best anywhere, along with classics like The Beast and The Racer, and a ton of smaller yet still fun rides, like The Bat, one of the last Arrow swinging coasters, and the Arrow mine train, Adventure Express. Combine this great coaster collection with an impressive selection of flat rides, excellent staff and operations, exclusive merchandise, local food, top notch cleanliness, a great kids area, and so many fun celebrations like Haunt and Winterfest, and you have a park that's easy to get to and easy to spend the whole day. Go there, run back to Orion for your first ride of the day (and jump back on if you can) and leave time for the train and the antique cars and a trip to the top of the Eiffel Tower. Plus save room for blue ice cream!

Came for Winter fest December 2023 and what a treat!!! Bought tickets in advance and through security and ticket line with a very small wait.... What an entrance with the ice skating rink in the front/middle and lined with all sorts of pieces to eat and multiple options, then in the backdrop the Eiffel Tower draped with memorizing hundreds of feet long stands of lights, just a thing of beauty!!!! Hot chocolate options all over and sweet shops around every corner.... Great job owners and management as every single staff member we ran across ( which had to be 50+ ) was very nice and polite....roller coasters of course down for the winter but they had a bunch of rides available for the little ones to the bigger kiddos.... Can't wait to be back

So disappointed that your rides are not accessible to people with mobility issues. I took my 19-year-old daughter last week and walked around your park for over four hours. She was only able to get on to one ride. We spent hundreds of dollars for one ride. People have various mobility issues but they also enjoy rides like typical folks. The entry to your rides are so narrow, it prohibits those with mobility issues from getting on. I took pictures and most all of the entry area is no more than approximately 12 inches wide. What’s so sad is that providing only a FEW more inches would mean special needs kids would be able to enjoy them also. BTW my daughter is not obese, she just has mobility issues due to a stroke at birth. So it’s not a case of someone being physically too large to ride. Do better. Make your rides accessible for those with mobility issues and provide wider openings on your rides.

It's a simply better version of Cedar Point. Way more relaxed. The wait times are shorter, and the rides seem to be working 90% of the time. I will say, get the dining pass. The food is extra fantastic here. The BBQ place is excellent. On the same token, the drink pass is a great idea as well and a good value. You don't have to go far to find either a drink refill station or a eatery. For parents with young kids, I will say this has a much better kids area than Cedar Point. Also, restroom cleanliness is pretty good for an amusement park, and the restrooms seem distributed better than other places.

I've been to Kings Island several times since I was young. I have always enjoyed it. There is literally a small community here of restaurants, shops and novelties. The rides are exceptional. They have even seemed to add a few new ones since my last visit. Their seasonal celebrations keep things fresh through the year. The family looks forward to their Halloween haunt and winter fest in the off season. We decided to get the gold pass this year considering it's their 50th anniversary. So far we are not disappointed. A large section of the park dedicated to the younger kids will help us get our money's worth. Especially with summer coming up we are really looking forward to the water park.

Incredible park. I spent a full day here (minus a few delays due to rain) and had an amazing time. This is definitely a park worth visiting and one I’ll have to find a way back to. They have an impressive collection of roller coasters and rides.

I love roller coasters and have been itching to ride since the pandemic. Naturally I chose a family favorite! Some things are different but still fun as ever. Orion has become my new favorite ride since they removed the vortex. I did get lucky enough to purchase a park and ride bundle for $50 which saved quite a bit of money. The food of course is overpriced just like any theme park but you know going in what to expect in that regard. Overall a great experience and I can't wait to visit again! Thanks King's Island for another fun day!

One of the best amusement parks in the country! Great rides and entertainment! 15 roller coasters in total! Planet Snoopy kids area is ranked among the top in the country every year. A lot of variety when it comes to eating including restaurants and food stands. Great shopping is also offered for all your souvenirs! Park is extremely clean! The staff is wonderful and will answer any and all of your questions! Plenty of parking in the massive parking lot. Definitely a must visit if you love rides and attractions! You will not be disappointed and have a blast!

Went to Halloween Hunt for the first time because I’ve heard how fun it is. Unfortunately it was so packed with visitors we didn’t get to enjoy any rides or haunted houses. I expected more from this experience but was kind of let down over all. My suggestion would be to come on a Thursday eve when the crowd may not be as heavy to fully enjoy the experience.

My recent visit to Kings Island's Christmas Spectacular was a truly enjoyable experience. At $25 per person, the pricing felt reasonable, especially considering the array of attractions and festive decorations that awaited us. The park's cleanliness was a notable highlight. It's always a pleasure to visit an amusement park that maintains high standards of cleanliness, and Kings Island certainly met these expectations. The family center, a crucial area for those visiting with children, was well-organized and welcoming. While the food and beverages were on the pricier side, the costs weren't exorbitant. This is somewhat expected at such venues, but it was pleasant to find that the prices hadn't skyrocketed, allowing us to enjoy a variety of snacks and drinks without too much worry about the expense. The Christmas lights were a spectacular sight. Kings Island had gone all out in decorating the park, creating a magical and festive atmosphere that truly enhanced the holiday spirit. The variety of lights and decorations was impressive, contributing significantly to the overall experience. The staff, mostly young, were friendly and efficient. Their energy and enthusiasm were infectious, adding to the festive atmosphere. They handled the crowds well and were always ready to assist, making our experience smooth and enjoyable. The rides were, of course, a major draw. Each ride was an adventure in itself, and the Christmas decor added a special twist to the experience. The overall decor of the park was thoughtfully done, blending the thrill of an amusement park with the charm of the holiday season. In conclusion, Kings Island's Christmas Spectacular is a fantastic holiday outing for families, couples, or anyone looking to immerse themselves in the festive spirit. The combination of thrilling rides, beautiful decorations, and a warm, friendly atmosphere makes it a must-visit destination during the holiday season. Highly recommended!

As a child, I always wanted to visit Kings Island but never got the chance to but I'm so happy that my daughter got the chance to experience it. I spent the majority of the day in the kid's section and she loved it. The prices were a bit much in some places but regardless we still had fun. It honestly warmed my heart!!

Was delighted to see that the park that I had such wonderful childhood memories from 2 family visits had not only held up, but had exceedingly improved over the years. Highly recommend spending at least two days here if you are coming from out of town to get a chance to ride everything that you want. Great family atmosphere, and though our son is now old enough to ride all the big coasters, there is a great kiddie land for the little ones as well.

This is a really nice amusement park! We have the annual gold season pass which is great. We also booked the food and drink pass which pays off by them self if you life nearby. The roller coaster 🎢 are a lot of fun and fits from young until old 😀 The water park is also great, you’re able to spend hours 😀😀 Food: don’t expect a high class restaurant… but some of them are really good compared with the amount of food which they have to provide. We love this park, it’s safe and great for visiting.

They oversold tickets on the day we went. Couldn't take a step in any direction without stepping on someone or getting shoulder checked in the face. We had a non rider who took photographs of the rides all day, he went through the lines with us no issue, while we boarded he went out of the exit gate and held our stuff while we rode. The only ride this was an issue on was Banshee, as loose items aren't even allowed in the queue? Don't really understand why, considering flight of fear only has that rule because you exit from a different area than you went in. Funny enough, we realized quickly while boarding banshee that my husband's eyeglasses were still on(he can't see any details without them-not ideal in an amusement park that is beyond packed). Had we been able to have our non rider, we could have handed him the glasses and it would have been fine. Asked the ride op what to do and he told us it was our problem. Not the same Kings Island I know and love. Do better. Photo is of how bad is was trying to walk through anything. In my 15 years visiting I have never seen it so badly oversold. Fast pass lines were crazy long as well.

One of my personal favorite theme parks in the entire Midwest. Lots of good coasters, food and entertainment all day and even at closing. Always recommend to anyone who hasn't had the opportunity to go here that they should. Great area for kids and families as well as the big coasters. Make sure to get the food passes they seem to come in handy after a long 12 hour day at the park. Lines were never too long for most of the rides which is really nice. Give it a try if you haven't had the change.

This park really has some great rides now with the addition of Orion. While there I noticed that the park was kept clean and the employees I interacted with were very friendly. Another thing noticed is that there was a good amount of security personnel as well. There are also some older rides here that are a bit shaky, but I was quite surprised with mystic timbers since I last rode it in 2017 when it opened and it's still a smooth wooden coaster. I also got food here and it was quite good. Lastly the weekdays at this park are usually light so not allot of wait times.

We had a wonderful family weekend. The service by employees was outstanding. The food was just as good. All rides were operating and their Halloween haunt was set up as spectacular as always! We got fast lane passes and every dollar spent on this trip was well worth the memories! I’d like to add that my son has a cardiac pacemaker and the security did a fantastic job recognizing his ID card and knowing just what to do and not do. It hasn’t always been that way at KI and it’s obvious they are now trained well and everything went smoothly with that too!! Thank you KI for getting everything right!❤️

We went to kings island for Winter fest. It was our first time going and we had so much fun! I would recommend not going on a Friday or Saturday night if possible just because it is probably less busy other evenings. The lights were beautiful, the parade was great and there were lots of activities to see and do. We are planning to go again next year on a less busy evening and will be there as soon as it opens.

Went for Winter Fest 2022. Great experience for all ages. Amazing Christmas lights display, most of the little kids rides open, and about a dozen or so rides open for kids of all ages. There was various themed musical performance happening at almost every turn. Hot cocoa stands everywhere. They turn the fountain area into an ice skating rink ($). Lots of places to eat, and step inside to get warm. All handicap accessible.

Had a great time. It had been way too long since the last time I was there. Really enjoyed the Orion and Diamond Head. We were there for a private event and then got to stay and check out the Haunt. If you enjoy Halloween and all the spooky displays and haunted houses etc. You will really enjoy Kings Island Haunt. We sure did!!!

Pretty fun amusement park, especially during Christmas time when they have the ice rink up. It is certainly Ohio based with certain features like corn and chili, but they have some awesome gluten-free options which are particularly nice. I have only gone during December, so I can’t say for sure, but both times the staff were oddly unfriendly. It’s definitely no Disney, but it is nice.

Went for the Halloween Haunt. Had Fast Passes. Had an AMAZING TIME! Fast passes are definitely worth it the money! Rode every ride twice within 2 hours and seen all the spooky sites. Very nicely decorated. Coasters scary AF after dark!

Good experience overall, but I will qualify my review with the fact that I got a Fast Lane Plus front of the line pass. Kings Island has a solid collection of roller coasters, with the stand out coasters being Mystic Timbers, Banshee, Diamondback, and to a lesser extent, Orion. I do think that this park would benefit from something similar to Steel Vengeance at Cedar Point (but what park wouldn't though) as I feel like Kings Island needs a true "destination" roller coaster. Great park and a really solid family section as well. My only gripe is that The Beast really needs some love, I don't think I've ever gotten so beat up on a roller coaster.

My family and I had a great time at Kings Island! The park was clean, and the staff was kind. We got there when they first opened and we were there from opening till 7pm. (On a Thursday) Wait times on rides were reasonable. They were on average, about 15 minutes wait time. The rides are also very enjoyable! Kings island is home to several of my favorite rides I’ve ever been on!

Been going here since I was a kid. I've been able to watch it change throughout the years. So many great roller coasters and other rides. Plenty of food options. Kiddie land for the kids is great. A lot of options and games for them to do. They also have a water park. If possible I would go M-Th and not on opening weekend. I've been a couple times during mother's day and you could practically walk on the rides. They also have fall activities and Winterfest during the holidays. They both are fantastic. With all this said, it is very expensive. Food is ridiculous. If you are not a season pass holder I would recommend packing a cooler and going out to the car for lunch and drinks. They will allow you back in if you get a ticket from the entrance. Parking is another expense. I believe it's $20 now to park. Also this is one of the reasons besides expense I give it 4 stars, is they are cashless. I don't care about the reasoning. If you are a business in the US you should take cash. It's that simple!!!!

Always fun for a family outing. Water park was really nice and the roller coasters are very fun. I took my 3 year old daughter and she had a blast at the water park and really enjoyed riding the little kid rides. She especially loved the carousel. Food is very expensive here but you can leave the park and re-enter if you'd like to leave for lunch or dinner or pack some food and snacks in your car to eat. The wait for the rides wasn't too terrible for it being a weekend. Great place to take your family and is suitable for all ages.

I went to Kings Island as part of my theme park adventure. I really liked this park and the rides it had to offer. They have a solid lineup of rollercoasters and I can't say there is one I don't like. The scenery was nice to look at and the Eiffel tower was a nice landmark. Lines were short when I was there and I got on all the rides I wanted too. No complaints from me!

King's Island is an incredible amusement park in Cincinnati! It offers a wide range of thrilling rides and attractions that cater to all ages. The park is well-maintained, clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The variety of roller coasters at King's Island is impressive. From the exhilarating drops and twists of the Beast and Diamondback to the fast-paced thrills of Banshee and Mystic Timbers, there's a coaster for every thrill-seeker. The rides are well-designed and provide an unforgettable adrenaline rush. In addition to the coasters, King's Island offers a great selection of other attractions. The water park, Soak City, is perfect for cooling off on hot summer days. The live entertainment shows are entertaining and add to the overall fun atmosphere of the park. The dining options at King's Island are diverse and tasty. From classic amusement park fare like funnel cakes and hot dogs to more diverse options, there's something to satisfy every palate. The prices are reasonable, considering the quality and variety of food available. One of the highlights of King's Island is the Eiffel Tower replica, which provides stunning panoramic views of the park. It's a great spot to take memorable photos and appreciate the beauty of the surroundings. Overall, King's Island is a top-notch amusement park with thrilling rides, friendly staff, and a great selection of dining options. Whether you're a coaster enthusiast or looking for family-friendly fun, this park has it all. Highly recommended for an unforgettable day of adventure!

It's a really good amusement park. It's well-staffed, with washrooms nearby and food options available at most corners, although the food prices are a bit high, as expected. The parking lot is quite spacious. I particularly enjoyed the Mystic Timbers ride as it's pretty fast.

So I'm from California, where know is open 365 days a year, this place was open for a very short period of time, they were open until x12/31 and open back up 04/29 yet season passes for 5, meal plans and drinks plans plus the park plan cost me over $2000, for less than half a year of fun is not very worth it. Now i have to admit they have rides better then the ones comparable to knotts, but i could go to knows any day i want and eat and ride all i want. Plus my meal plan didn't transfer correctly and i had the platinum plan

Kings Island was wonderful it was great to get out, weather was nice and the Halloween theme was outstanding! It was nice the kiddos could choose a toy or candy my princess does not eat sweets and the option of a toy was great! The food was fantastic, everyone was having a great time and polite except it was a " Karen " who was complaining about people walking too slow ! Everyone was looking at the decorations of course what did '" Karen" expect maybe it was her first time at Kings Island! Great job, Kings Island we had a wonderful time!

Hadn't been to KI in a very long time, but it was perfect for our 3 year old! He loved the swings, boo blasters, the helicopter ride, bumper cars, and Race For your Life Charlie Brown was the best ever! We had the best time! He's just barely under 40" so couldn't ride a few but there's a ton of rides that were perfect for him! Tickets in advance are much cheaper than at the gate. We bought season passes for next year as soon as we left. The water park was awesome too and the areas are set up to be age appropriate!

Even at 50-something, this place was every bit as fun as I remember from my youth!! Even road many of the coasters— my favorite being the giga-coaster, Orion! But the fast pass and the all-day dining package. Well worth the money. Check out the sports bar for great food and adult beverages. Makes the coaster a little less scary! 😉

7 trips to Kings Island with our Platinum Season Passes. Each day seems different as my kids and I try to do different things/rides. Bees are an issue...really! Something needs to be done...especially around the sweet foods. Rides are very enjoyable...waiting in line can be challenging with the heat but overall we are enjoying our Platinum Seasonal Passes (with their limits). I would recommend strongly the Snoopy Kids zone for riders under 48 inches. DiamondBacks was the highly of the recent visit. You gotta go on it!

We are big amusement park fans, Cedar Point is our home park but we decided to try Kings Island this year. We went mid July for two days. Crowds weren’t bad however we did get a fast pass the first day which made them pretty non existent. Park was clean, food options were great, coasters were fun. We loved the park though it seems much more spread out than other parks = you’ll be doing a lot of walking! Parking was $$ if you don’t have a season pass but parking lot and spaces were close to the the entrance (if you get there when they open at least!)

Multigenerational family of 10 enjoyed skating, lights, parade, decorations and entertainment and our own igloo. Sadly, I was extremely disappointed in the paid pictures they took of us in front of the skating rink. The pictures looked fine on the screen they showed us. We paid them to print out a bunch, but they were too dark. Such an unhappy ending to a wonderful evening. I'd do it all over again but ask a stranger to take our picture with our phone instead of using their professional photographer and printer.

Once a year Toyota rents out the entire park for Toyota West Virginia & Toyota Kentucky plants for a family fun day. My family always enjoys the park. The park was the cleanest I think I've ever seen it, and it's clear work has been done to revitalize areas that were in need. Didn't have much to complain about. Just a good day.

My wife brought me to Kings Island for the first time. And it so happened to be during my favorite time of year. Halloween not a big coaster fan but I went and did a lot of the haunted attractions while my wife and kids went and rode the coasters they love. So a win-win all around.

King's Island will always be a part of my heart because I grew up going! They have plenty of things to keep you busy all day from coasters, easy rides, and a water park. I was lucky enough to grab tickets with an early bird sale online for around $42 each. When we arrived...PARKING $30!!! The preferred was only $10 more so let's go with that because what is another $10 at this point??!! The kids stood in a couple of lines when we decided that maybe the fast lanes pass will be worth it. $95 a piece for those. The point is...it is a nice park, but the prices are OUTRAGEOUS for EVERYTHING! A day at Disney is cheaper. Now, the firework show at the end was so beautiful and great! That was definitely worth seeing!

The temperature ended up being ideal for this time of year. The lights and decorations were great. The trio of ladies singing were good. We were a little disappointed that the parade didn't go the entire route. We were on the route path, but the actors disembarked just before reaching our location.

We decided to visit King's Island while over from the UK. It was such an incredibly fun and amusing day 😆 We bought our tickets online, which made it somewhat cheaper than at the gates. The park has some amazing rides and is very well spaced out with lots of shops and eateries. We went on a Sunday, so it was pretty packed with about 90 minutes queues for rides. We queued for a few but then bought single fast track tickets for the main rides that we didn't want to queue for, which enabled us to go on more rides We've went on some pretty massive roller coasters 🎢 But Orion is 300ft tall with a very steep drop at 91mph, and is one of just 7 "giga" coasters on Earth. So we did this one twice! But our faves are the wooden rickety ones Mystic Timbers and The Racer 🤣 What a fab day 🥰 Would definitely recommend!

It is a great experience. This park is great for families. Things can be a bit pricey, but overall it's a great experience to go. The rides are all very safe, and there's a good security team. The staff are friendly, and everything is run in a very controlled manner. Judging wait times for rides can be tricky, but riding then makes up for it.

This is my new favourite amusement park! Kings Island is a fantastic park. Amazing rollercoasters. So fun to have at many “aggressive” rides! Huge variety of rides, lots for younger kids too. Clean park and restrooms. Definitely buy the fast pass to avoid the queues. Great variety of places to eat, prices high but normal for a theme park. The season drink pass is great value for money, lots of places to refill. I loved this park!

Kings Island was a great time! The kids had a blast and I did as well. We went on a Wednesday which was perfect because the lines were all so short. So we were able to ride everything and some rides more than once. I just wish they would not have been so expensive. But the trip was certainly worth it!
