★ Popularity: Locally known. ★ Size/Location: A fairly big roller coaster ride. ★ Business Type: Attraction. ★ Business Hour: 10am to 10pm. ★ Reservation: Not needed; Expect long waiting line; Fast pass is optional. ★ Accessibility: Not sure. ★ Staff: Friendly, will shout and clap with you for extra excitement. ★ Pet-friendliness: No pets allowed. ★ Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcomed, as long as they pass the height limit. ★ Expense: Free with ticket/pass. The seats are attached to the rail topside, adding more excitement to the ride. There are speakers playing a howling sound, but I doubt anyone would actually hear it while riding with all the people shouting around.

Comparable to Cedar Point's Raptor, but the overall themeing and ending barrel roll of this coaster make it a winner. Not to mention there's seven whole inverts. It's a fun little ride to start your day with and was usually a walk-on. If it did have a wait, it was no more than ten minutes. The ride ops here are fantastic with pushing out cars and chewing through lines. The inverts themselves you don't really feel much. Going up the first lift hill and then immediately getting flipped helps you adjust to the feeling. But, oh man, that ending barrel roll gets you. You really feel it in the bottom of your stomach, it's pretty great. Only downside is you get majorly stapled and the harnesses aren't the most comfortable thing in the world. They dig into your shoulders pretty bad, no matter what size you are. Speaking of which, this is the only coaster in the entire park that has specific seating to accommodate larger guests (row 4 & 5). Regardless, don't skip this one!

One of the best B&M inverts out there! The drop is fantastic and there’s a great mix of inversions and other elements. The slow barrel roll is so fun. The restraints are very comfortable compared to the hard vest restraints on some of the other inverts. This is a must ride in the park.

So smooth! I love the design of this ride. Loading and unloading usually go pretty quickly, especially when 3 trains are running. Not usually a long line unless it's a super busy weekend.

Banshee is one of the best Rollercoasters at Kings Island. I love that you sit below the track. It's definitely a unique feeling. My favorite part of the ride comes about 2/3 of the way through. You barrel roll and that's a rush. If you haven't been on it before, it's longer than you might think.

This used to be my favorite inverted coaster and a contender for my favorite coaster in the park. Time has not been kind to it. It has gotten consistently jerkier over the years and is in desperate need of a paint job. Older inverted coasters at other parks still offer a smoother ride so I'm not sure what's going on here.

What a fantastic invert by B&M at Kings Island! I love that there is no mid course breaks and that there are several unique sections of this ride compared to other inverts. I love the pretzel like heart twist (whatever it technically is called) both on ride and watching people whizz through it off ride. Great coaster that you definitely have to try if you go to Kings Island!

I don't normally like roller coasters that take you upside down, and do flip you so many times. But this is a very smooth ride... A little psychotic, though it's still very fun! I felt a little shaky after I got off the last time... Definitely worth the wait in line.

Fantastic ride. This reminded me of Raptor at Cedar Point which is an all time top favorite for me. Banshee is a smoother ride though and Kings Island employees are much more chill than Cedar Point!

Great elements, smooth design and a comfortable seat. Just a well-designed inverted coaster with great views of the park.

I love the Banshee. It's one of my favorite roller coasters at King's Island. The operators do an excellent and efficient job loading!

Top 3 favorite rides. Smoothe ride. Definitely worth all the metal. At the top, you can see the smog for miles.

Loved the roller coaster. You are very securely attached to your seat and the speed and inversions are great fun

One of my favorite rides! We rode literally 4 times in a row with barley a wait. We went on a Monday morning/afternoon. But best ride at KI! It's doesn't jerk you around, & it's smooth.

Such a great ride. Super smooth and fast. Love riding this every time we come to the park. Favorite part is at the end with the barrel roll!

This is probably my favorite B&M coaster. The layout is very busy, feels like you get inverted more than half the ride. I'm not sure about the banshee screamin' weenie, haven't tried it yet lol.

Good ride. I like the suspended from above rides and my daughter and I were lucky enough to be front row. Good first drop and lots of twists, loops, and corkscrews.

This is my favorite ride at King's Island. It runs multiple coasters at the same time, so the line moves fast. Your feet dangle and there are loops and cork screws. I recommend it to all thrill seekers!

This is a great ride. We used the fast pass on this ride. It was worth it. It was very smooth. Probably As a 46 year old I don't have many more of these in me but I am glad I did it. The line can be very long.

Where do I start. Out of all the roller coasters I’ve done this is the best. Everything about it is perfect. The first drop, the look, the inversions, the forces they apply. Absolutely perfect. Don’t listen to others when they say there is a rattle because I didn’t feel any rattle. By far the smoothest coaster I’ve been on it was as if I sat in a car seat that did loops to be honest. Restraints might I add are the nicest ever because there is something solid to hold on to while also having a loose vest restraint underneath that gives u wiggle room to feel open to the elements. Can’t wait to travel back to kings island to ride the one and only banshee!!
