Very nice local restaurant! Lovely and cozy atmosphere, good music and friendly staff. We ordered chicken noodles (the portion was huge!) and chicken stew. Food was very delicious! Menu has a lot of options for everyone.

Nice local place close to Matara. Probably the best local food I had in the south of Sri Lanka. A bit expensive, loads of mosquitoes and unfortunately there was no beer/ alcohol otherwise we would have stayed longer just to enjoy the nice atmosphere.

Recommend the prawn curry, lots of prawns & good flavor. However, the food took over 1 hour to be served - but totally worth it! Avoid the avocado juice

I went as per recommendation of my friend. Staff seems good and place seems nice. But when I came back home and open the food, I realised that Veg rice was fouled(Leaks they used smells and taste fouled). It only takes 30 - 45 mins to reach my from the restaurant. Nasi was taste good but bit more spicier than my taste. Pineapple juice was not cold. When ask, they told something about power cuts(currently only max 3 hrs). Had they told us, that it wasn't going to cold, we wouldn't buy. May be they treat local differently. May be chef is having a bad day. Regardless my experience was not pleasant at all.

The atmosphere of the place is comparatively good & it gives an awesome vibe. But they can use better chairs to improve. Food taste is really good but it's ridiculously expensive. Food is so not worth for the price. They don't even have their own take away boxes. Takes a long time to deliver food as well. I had wait some 20 minutes to get my order & they were not even that busy. They have a fancy menu but most of the items are not available. They didn't give me a bill even. Overall it's a good restaurant but has plenty of areas to improve. Ps. I'm editing my review since there is no option to reply to the owner's reply. Looking at their reply it's clear that the owner doesn't know how to reply & speak to a customer & you might get treated by them the same way. As a level 7 local guide at Google maps my reviews have been highly trusted & followed by people all around the world thus reflects the credibility of my reviews. And I thought I'm the only one that gave them a bad rating, but after reading the reviews given by so many locals & foreigners it made me realize that I'm not the only one who had a bad experience here. So I'm reducing my rating further down to one star.

We ordered a large Kotthu, a juice, and a cold water and paid around 3,000 for two people. This plate was huge! The service was great and the quality was awesome!

Food is delicious. Satisfied portion size. Have parking 10% service change Clean and friendly staff. Busy during weekends and fridays have both dining in and take away.

We were recommended this place many times so we decided to give it a try. Not worth a penny. We ordered some fried chicken which the staff told us was for two and ended up not even being enough for one person. If you are looking for cheap and good quality sri lankan food please avoid!

I bought a bottle of water for Rs. 70 and asked for 45% extra for the price of that water bottle.They said they would use the money for cooling. In addition to the profit on the water bottle, Rs. 30 was unfairly obtained. Be careful when dealing with them !!

UPDATE after owner’s reply: If the tables get sticky because of too much cleaning (first time hearing this), still having sticky tables is not a good experience for any customer and management should make changes. I’ve been travelling to Sri Lanka for months and ate countless Kottu dishes. Unfortunately this was the one I enjoyed the least, might be subjective, but I’m not a picky person at all when it comes to food. Sadly not a good experience. The stickiest tables I placed my hands on, my phone cover got stuck. Looks like they never cleaned it for months. Use some products please. Also unfortunately the worst Kottu with cheese, served in a sticky liquid white sauce that tasted funny: like melted worst quality cream cheese maybe? Not nice at all. I understand in these days there are not many tourists, but with more time in their hands they should assure a more proper cleaning of the place. Could not even explain them because the waiter spoke no English and even though we tried, it was impossible to communicate apart from menu ordering.
