Positives: - Quite good food served from the hotel restaurant, but unfortunately providing only nice food is just not good enough, see the list of negatives below Negatives: - Some staff can be nice and helpful at times, but others are totally hopeless and generally speaking, client satisfaction is definitely not a priority for this hotel. - After one of the rooms got flooded (because the toilets of another room located in the same corridor was apparently blocked), hotel staff failed at first to provide another room easily accessible to disabled people (i.e. wheelchair accessible) even though one person couldn’t get around without a wheelchair and/or a walker. Arguing was necessary to get a proper room which didn’t require climbing some additional stairs at an upper floor (an intermediate floor with additional stairs to climb up was the only option offered by the hotel at first, before they could change their mind and gave another room eventually) - At first, we said we didn’t want to have breakfast on our last day, but then we realized the hotel charged extra money for something we didn’t want in the first place - Hotel staff failed to register the guest names on the list of people authorized to have breakfast (on our last day before checking out, so we've been turned down at first when walking into the breakfast area) - After arguing for a good 10 min in order to explain (by going through the bill details) that additional breakfast was actually charged when paying during the check-in process, a first hotel staff acknowledged there was a mistake on their side and apologized accordingly, so we thought everything was fine regarding this aspect - Unfortunately, when checking out, another hotel employee thought we had breakfast on our last day without paying for it, by pretending there was still some money missing, so we had to explain it all over again (by going through the details of payment, based on the individual price of the breakfast which was communicated at first by the hotel in one mail) - Hotel staff pretended the mail sent regarding the actual price of breakfast was “probably” not coming from them, and pretended the fare given in the mail was not “up to date” as it didn’t match their current price for breakfast - After arguing for another half an hour during check-out, and after emphasizing the fact that, normally, after so many things which have been mishandled (having to argue about not receiving a new room which was not wheelchair accessible because there was a water damage in the first room / no apology about the water damage / having to argue again about the fact that all payments were in order, including for the last breakfast which we didn’t want initially), hotel staff finally stopped asking extra money for something we have already paid for - Extra taxes have been charged by the hotel staff for non-Israeli travelers regarding breakfast, even though there are normally no taxes applied in this situation - Some staff (with a few exceptions though) can be pretty stubborn and will not hesitate to give customers a very hard time. In any case do not expect empathy or a commercial gesture in return if there are some unexpected events (such as a water damage or a mistake in the bill calculation). We understand people can make mistakes, but past a certain point, this is simply bad will and bad management. Hope these reviews are read by the hotel management, so they can realize they have a lot of margin for improvement. - Otherwise, except a few rooms with a higher price in a new part of the hotel, most of the rooms need redecoration (fitted carpet is old and stained). There is no walk in shower, people must stand up in the bathtub which is quite slippery (it is mandatory to use an anti-slip rubber mat). Pool opens only at 11am until 5pm on Sundays, but reception does not communicate about the fact that there is actually a limited amount of time to take advantage of the pool. Also found kind of weird there isn't any single fresh fruit or fruit juice served at breakfast for a Kibbutz hotel.

They messed up my reservation completely. We specifically asked for a bathtub (6 families with small children) and "somebody" decided to put us into rooms with a shower head. No amount of begging helped. The hotel was booked solid, we had no choice but to stay. No one offered any kind of apology let alone discount/reparation. Was extremely disappointed as I have the written confirmation for the baths but it did me no good. Will not recommend this place to anyone.

Stayed for 2 nights with our kids. The hotel was generally clean (we had to replace a pillow). Rooms are quite small and are sub par with other hotels at this level with very basic furniture. No double bed, only single beds and mattress is hard. Carpets look weary. It feels like they were trying to go kibbutz-retro style, but they crossed the line for just being old. There's no room service, and we couldn't extend our checkout time. The pools are decent, a/c works well, and breakfast is rich. While we were there there were renovation work going on (they didn't let us know). Workers started banging at 7:15am until the afternoon. Bottom line - we came to unwind but miserably failed. Definitely not worth the high price we paid.

Overall it was such a lovely place to stay in for a few nights and I need to specifically mention Corinne Lewin who went above and beyond with her care and attention. The food at the restaurant (when hot) was great and a nice selection but it's not so much a buffet (at dinner) but a fist come first serve as they don't replace the food which was very disappointing. We stayed in the superior room and it was a very nice size for 3 (2 plus 1), bathroom and room dated but shower was very powerful. The best thing about the room was the view. It was stunning to be looking out to the view of Bethlehem and mountains. Truly special The only other niggle I have is that there is a coffee bar in the lobby to get hot and cold drinks and ice cream which was never open when we were there. In summary - great to go to and thank you for having us and showing the wonderful history of your site going back thousands of years.

One of the best stays I've had in a while. We went with my husband and three little kids in addition to my in laws and sister in law and her family. We had access to the country club which had absolutely outstanding and clean facilities. My kids were in the kiddie pool for six hours. There was a cafe there, a hamam, sauna and slide. The kids said it was their favorite vacation. We had Shabbat dinner which was top-notch in addition to the breakfast served. There was a synagogue for prayer services. Beautiful fields surrounding the hotel include vineyards, cherry tree fields and olive groves. The children loved exploring there as well. On Shabbat there was a tour with a kibbutznik which was very nice. There were other activities for kids like a movie showing and a Gymboree. The kibbutz was very majestic as well. There is a farm inside which was closed unfortunately but we could still see some farm animals and peacocks from the outside. In conclusion, a truly exceptional and magical stay. We enjoyed every moment!!

This hotel cheats customers and have very deceptive practices. They do not inform you beforehand about charges. For instance, they racked up the laundry bill in the hundreds for only few clothes from 2 rooms. How can they call this quality? No transparent process to charges. Beware of this hotel, don't stay They have Pathetic hotel service.

Stunning rooms, amazing facilities, kind and attentive staff, full of parking. The whole family enjoyed the free historical tour as well. Food was absolutely amazing. Honestly, couldn't fault anything! Unfortunately though, I got food poisoning (confirmed by the ER later that night) which was honestly such a shame!

The maintenance of the rooms is a bit lacking, for example in the shower the soap shelf was broken and also the arrangement and cleanliness of the rooms needs a little improvement. The vast majority of the hotel staff are not smiling and welcoming but do respond to every request. If the hotel management raises the level of the food a little more, it could be perfect. The game room needs improvement. Beyond that, only good things: the location, the cleanliness of the hotel, the variety of food, the pool and the yard.

This is a quiet, overlooking Jerusalem hotel. My the food and all they have on the grounds are amazing. High quality! Check out the gift shop too.

Stopped here for a buffet lunch with a bus tour. Although the restaurant was empty the staff forced us into a small area with no space between the chairs .It was impossible to move between the chairs as they were only inches apart. Food was ok. Would not recommend.

The hotel is very convient placed, central roads close by and still out of the center. We where here a few years ago for several times, but each time were a little disappointed mostly by the food. We returned now after several years and... WOW! The whole place looks renovated. Food, dinner and breakfast was marvelous. Certainty left a taste for more.

It is in a great location. There are many things to do around the area. The staff are kind. Meals are phenomenal. Only thing is the room service and the hotel rooms could be cleaner and more equipped. It doesn’t smell the best and not as cleaned as you think it would be.

Nice family hotel, a lot of things for the kids. Great pool for the little ones, gymboree, attractions and sightseeing. Breakfast was great with lots of varity. My older son had less things to do, but for the young one (up to age 6) it was great.

A huge hotel buildg of the past. But can be afforded only by the rich and a little out of town location . The hotel shops selling artefacts/ jewellery are expensive. Nearby a big club with S pool.

What an exceptional experience! We spent 4 days with family and friends in this lovely hospitable place. Staff was very welcoming and considerate. I can mention Corinne who was wonderful and showed sensitivity and care beyond what you would commonly expect. The hotel facilities are perfect for families and the Turkish hammam in the country club is undoubtedly a refreshing surprise. Even though the hotel may need some updated renovation in carpets and maybe flooring and reception boot still it has a wonderful view and is only minutes away from everything that is wonderful in Jerusalem. We would definitely return to that hotel and recommended to our friends.

The honest move would be to list this place as 'guest rooms above wedding venue'. I had a terrible time trying to put my one-year-ols to sleep over the speaker-music, which felt like it was blowing in my room. Family friendly? Nope.

This is a resort-like hotel at the outskirts of Jerusalem. You will need a car to get to the city. The service in the hotel is up to snuff, however, the reservation service and the dining room service could benefit from additional training. E.g., it was externally challenging to communicate to the reservation service that we need an extra bed in the room. The dining room stuff forgot to reserve out table which made them scramble to figure out an improvised solution at the last minute. That said, the new rooms are outstanding and the front desk was very professional.

This is not a five star hotel, and there were some things that could be better (e.g. shower maintenance, cleanliness in some of the public spaces) but overall we had a great experience. The staff was super friendly, breakfast was good and the country club was really nice, especially the kiddie pool, my kids could spend the entire vacation in it.

Located near Jerusalem, the facility looks good, but the rooms need renovation, they have large pools and a large gym. Service is not good - you have to ask for things a few times until you'll get them, room cleaning service is non-existent, they make the beds and replace the towels, but that's about it, we had ants on the bathroom sink since day one, and crumbs on the floor stayed there throughout our stay. If you order in some food, the hotel will not let you eat it on the premises, you'll be asked to walk out of the hotel to the two picnic tables they have, which are occupied most of the time by smokers or other people eating. On the bright side, they have very nice activities for kids every day, highly appreciated. Bottom line, I don't recommend this hotel, and I wouldn't return.

My family and I had a wonderful time at the hotel over shabbat. The food was fantastic, particularly Friday night dinner, the pool and health club facilities are great (three pools!) and the amenities are perfect for kids and families. The young ones really enjoyed the petting zoo and the super-sized kids pool was one of if not the best that you'll find in the country. The entire place has such a nice charm. Can't recommend it highly enough, there's so much that the hotel offers that we can't wait to go back and experience even more.

Mediocre hotel. Nice facilities. Zero customer service or willingness to help. Also very shabbat unfriendly for anyone that cares.

Nice hotel, in the outskirts of Jerusalem. There are things to to in the kibbutz itself. Rooms are nice, and a good gymboree...

Nice pool, clean rooms, excellent view. The kids enjoyed very much. I think that the main dishes in the dining room could be improved and kids chairs could be better cleaned. But in overall we enjoyed very much the hotel and the surroundings. Excellent value for money

We stayed there for 3 nights in august and had a great time. The rooms are clean, the pool is great and not so crowded and the staff are nice. They have great activities for children like visiting the kibbutz farm, movies at noon and more. We had a great time and recomminding

We came for 3 days, at the check in it was a bit messy and we got our room late. The tours were fun the pool was great although the hole staying could have been better if there was a bit more children activities. The food was Ok. A bit crowded on the egg station in the morning. For conclusion we had great time hopefully we'll come back in the future.
